Whispering Winds Mobile Home Community Introduce
For local residents in the Grand Rapids, Ohio, area who might be exploring housing options or searching under the category of "RV parks near me" with a potential interest in more long-term or residential settings, Whispering Winds Mobile Home Community, located at 13555 Neapolis Waterville Rd, Grand Rapids, OH 43522, USA, is a mobile home park that warrants careful consideration based on recent customer feedback. It's important to understand that a mobile home park typically offers spaces for manufactured homes on a long-term lease, fostering a residential community rather than short-term RV stays. You can contact them at (419) 205-5915 or +1 419-205-5915 for inquiries.
The environment of Whispering Winds Mobile Home Community, based on the provided customer reviews, appears to be a significant area of concern. One reviewer described the place as a "dump" and specifically mentioned that "the water is terrible." This is a serious environmental factor that potential residents would need to investigate thoroughly. The same reviewer also noted that "the parking lot is a disaster" and highlighted a specific issue with water accumulation at an entrance/exit during rain, which subsequently freezes and creates hazardous, slippery conditions. This suggests potential problems with the infrastructure and maintenance of the community's grounds. The strong language used, including a recommendation for daily health department visits and urging the management to "clean that place up," paints a picture of a community facing significant environmental and maintenance challenges. The second review, while focused on a negative rental application experience, also included a comment that "your trailer park looked like trash anyways!" This corroborates the negative assessment of the community's physical environment. Local users should be aware of these serious concerns raised by former or potential residents when considering Whispering Winds Mobile Home Community.
Information regarding the services offered at Whispering Winds Mobile Home Community, based on the provided reviews, is limited and primarily negative. One reviewer mentioned a lot rent of "$450 a month," which provides some insight into the potential costs associated with living in the community, although this figure may not be current or all-inclusive. The severe criticism regarding the water quality suggests a potential issue with the community's water supply, which is a fundamental service. The description of the parking lot as a "disaster" and the hazards caused by flooding and ice indicate potential neglect in maintaining essential infrastructure. The second reviewer's negative experience with the rental application process, including paying for an application for a unit that was already rented and a lack of follow-up on another supposedly available unit, raises concerns about the management's professionalism and communication. The mention of a "$950 a month" price for a unit that was deemed not in the best condition and the overall appearance of the park being like "trash" suggests that the perceived value for the cost might be very low. Potential residents should inquire in detail about all services provided, including water, waste management, road maintenance, security, and any other amenities, and should independently verify the quality and reliability of these services.
The features of Whispering Winds Mobile Home Community, based on the overwhelmingly negative reviews, are difficult to ascertain positively. The fact that it is a mobile home park implies that the primary feature is the provision of lots for manufactured homes, offering a potentially more affordable housing option compared to traditional real estate. However, the reported poor condition of the park and the negative experiences with management significantly detract from any potential benefits. The mention of a cheaper rental unit (albeit in poor condition) being the reason for inquiry suggests that affordability might be a feature that attracts some individuals, but this needs to be balanced against the reported environmental and maintenance issues. The lack of positive feedback regarding community amenities, management responsiveness, or overall quality of life makes it challenging to identify any appealing features. The recurring themes of poor maintenance, inadequate infrastructure (parking lot), and potentially substandard basic services (water) are significant drawbacks that prospective residents would need to carefully consider. Any potential features such as a specific location within Grand Rapids or proximity to local amenities are overshadowed by the serious concerns raised in the reviews.
Currently, there is no positive promotional information available for Whispering Winds Mobile Home Community in the provided text. The reviews focus entirely on negative aspects of the community, including its physical condition, infrastructure, and management practices. The high lot rent mentioned by one reviewer ($450 per month) was presented in the context of the poor state of the park, suggesting it is not perceived as a good value. The second reviewer mentioned a rental price of $950 per month for a unit described as "not in the best condition," further indicating a potential lack of value for the cost. In light of the strong negative feedback, it is unlikely that the community would be actively promoting itself without addressing the significant issues raised. Local users are advised to be extremely cautious and to conduct thorough due diligence, including a personal visit and inspection, as well as seeking additional, more recent reviews from other sources, before considering Whispering Winds Mobile Home Community. Any claims of promotions should be carefully scrutinized in light of the reported conditions and management practices.
In conclusion, for local residents in the Grand Rapids, Ohio, area searching for "RV parks near me" who might be considering long-term housing options, Whispering Winds Mobile Home Community at 13555 Neapolis Waterville Rd appears to have significant issues based on recent customer reviews. The environment is described as a "dump" with terrible water quality and a hazardous parking lot. The services are seemingly inadequate, with concerns raised about basic infrastructure and management responsiveness. Positive features are difficult to identify based on the provided feedback, as the focus is on the poor condition and negative experiences. There is no indication of any positive promotional information; instead, the high costs mentioned are juxtaposed with the reported low quality of the community. Local users are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution, conduct thorough independent research, and potentially look for alternative mobile home communities in the Grand Rapids area that have received more positive feedback regarding their environment, services, and management. The information available suggests that Whispering Winds Mobile Home Community may not currently offer a satisfactory living experience.

Whispering Winds Mobile Home Community Reviews
This place is a dump. The water is terrible. $450 a month for lot rent? The parking lot is a disaster. When it rains, there's like a lake at an entrance/exit. When that freezes over. Good luck not sliding all over the place, praying you don't side swipe someone's vehicle. Clean that place up. The health department should be there every single day. Get it together. For real.
Aug 24, 2024 · Diana GallagherI inquired about a home which mind you wasn’t in the best condition but I was inquiring because it was cheaper than my current place. Within 2 days of them posting the listing and me PAYING for an application they told me it was rented out already. Fine. Here’s where I get angry, they tell me there is another unit available at the end of July.. told me they would email me about it and never heard from them again. I’m about sick and tired of these rental places stealing money for applications. Y’all suck and your trailer park looked like trash anyways! Definitely NOT worth $950 a month. Please reevaluate your prices AND the way you communicate with people. I’ll never apply again.
Aug 09, 2023 · sierra kujawaWe love our quiet little community! The downside of a little community is all the nosy neighbors. Management is wonderful and helpful! During the winter the snow removal isn't always the greatest but you can at least get in and out of the park. Our neighbors love to help each other out with the side walks! Everyone despite nosiness are very kind and welcoming!
Feb 11, 2022 · Susie FountainThe fact that every resident gets a "As the wind blows" newsletter every month outlining what they HAVE to do to keep the park community clean and nice is a joke! The "property manager" doesn't care about the property or if it's SAFE for the children that live here! The "playground" pictured as their cover photo is in reality a HAZARD! Don't be fooled by any of the photos!! It's a shame that the kids can't use the playground because people break things, leave needles ALL over, break or leave beer bottles etc.. When you call to complain, no one answers. Way to make sure the property is safe and clean MANAGEMENT TEAM!!!
Sep 05, 2016 · JusA PieceUnder new ownership now. Previous owners did a lot of cleanup and updated the water system. The new ownership plans to continue building on those improvements, making Whispering Winds a peaceful, pleasant community to live.
