Campland on the Bay Reviews
I haven’t stopped talking about Campland on the Bay since we got home! From beginning to end, it was a great experience for us first-timers. Backing into our spot was easy, the entire park is super dog friendly, the Cantina has great food and drinks, pools were heated, made friends in the hot tub. Had lunch on the beach, met so many nice people, seems to be tons of activities for kids. What I love the most is the sense of community at Campland, since several campers stay long-term. 10/10 would recommend! We will give going back.
Apr 16, 2025 · Katie QuickWell-maintained campsites with spectacular Mission Bay views. Clean restroom facilities and helpful staff. The rental shop made it easy to try kayaking without hauling our own equipment. Perfect base for exploring San Diego attractions while still having an outdoor experience.
Mar 23, 2025 · Enrique TorresI was impressed with the facilities, cleanliness, staff, everything. Daily activities were really fun (pickle ball, yoga, crafts, etc.). The bicycle path is amazing, you can see the entirety of Mission Bay and more. What a great stay cation for someone from Imperial Beach. My new local camp spot
Apr 15, 2025 · Khala SoveyWe stayed here for two nights and were relieved to leave. Great location right on the bay, and the staff was very friendly... but this place had kids EVERYWHERE. Running, screaming, zooming in front of cars, etc. It was noisy until well after 11:00.pm. The lots are small and close together with dolls, broken scooters, bikes, kayaks, clothes, shoes, and towels everywhere. Our rig was hit twice with wiffle balls, and once by a softball. I don't mind kids but this was awful. There are better places to relax in San Diego.
Apr 15, 2025 · Rebecca CusteadThis place has gone down hill immensely. New ownership and management are pathetic and trashy. The only thing they care to enforce is stopping kids having fun and enjoying their vacations. However they don’t care about all the filthy trash, smoking marijuana and blowing smoke all over other campers and campsites. I would not recommend anyone visiting here untill this place gets it together and starts enforcing common sense not allowing your guest to fill the campsites with marijuana smoke that blows all over your kids.
