Based on the enthusiastic feedback from real customers, Magnolia Forest RV Park offers a compelling blend of natural beauty and attentive management. One reviewer described it as an "Awesome place to stay. Good ppl, good food, and my favorite it all the trees. It's actually like a forest with lots of trails to walk my buddy." This highlights the park's unique environment, characterized by an abundance of trees that create a forest-like setting, complete with trails perfect for leisurely walks, especially for those traveling with pets.
Another guest who enjoyed a four-month stay shared, "What a gem! I just spent 4 months here and it was so awesome! Everything I could’ve hoped for. Camp hosts Bo and Pam were great! They are very conscientious about enforcing campground rules so if you like to listen to loud music late at night or don’t mind if your dog barks incessantly, this might not be your best option." This review underscores the park's commitment to maintaining a peaceful atmosphere by conscientiously enforcing campground rules. The positive mention of the camp hosts, Bo and Pam, suggests friendly and effective on-site management. The caveat regarding noise levels indicates that Magnolia Forest prioritizes a tranquil environment, which may be particularly appealing to those seeking a quiet retreat.
A significant highlight of Magnolia Forest is the on-site dining option, the Maine Barn. A reviewer raved about their experience, stating, "Absolutely awesome fried shrimp dinner at the Maine barn on-site where they have happy hour and dinner specials Wed-Sunday." This amenity adds considerable convenience and enjoyment for guests, offering delicious food and social opportunities with happy hour and dinner specials available from Wednesday to Sunday.
The maintenance of the park also receives high praise. One reviewer noted, "Maintenance is quite impressive. They have a crew that comes in once or twice a week that blows the leaves off the roads and each individual pad which is especially nice when leaves are falling." This attention to detail in maintaining the cleanliness of the roads and individual RV pads demonstrates a commitment to providing a comfortable and well-kept environment for all guests.
Furthermore, the responsiveness of the management to address infrastructure issues is evident in another review: "After some pretty significant rains, there were alot of potholes around the gravel roads that meander through the campground. These were filled and covered immediately." This swift action in repairing the potholes highlights the proactive approach of the management in ensuring the safety and usability of the park's roads.
The only noted drawback mentioned by a reviewer concerns the Wi-Fi service: "The only con is that the agreement states no streaming and downloading on their Wi-Fi service so no Netflix." This is an important consideration for guests who rely heavily on streaming services for entertainment. However, for those who prioritize a peaceful natural environment, good food, and attentive management, this limitation might be a minor inconvenience.
Based on these reviews, Magnolia Forest RV Park offers a distinctive set of features and services:

- Quiet Atmosphere: The enforcement of rules regarding noise levels ensures a tranquil environment, which may be particularly attractive to those seeking peace and quiet.
- Pet-Friendly (with considerations): The presence of trails suggests a welcoming environment for pets, although adherence to rules regarding barking is expected.

Apr 14, 2025 · Melissa BullockWe started our RV journey 2 years ago at this park. After a year we travelled for about 3 months at other parks before we got called back. We knew exactly where to go back to. Every lot is buried in the trees providing shade for nearly the entire day. A huge plus in the Texas summer. After we moved back, the owner finished up and opened The Maine Barn Bar and Grille, an Amish barn relocated from Maine. This vaulted two story structure was amazingly rebuilt using the original timber and fastened with wooden nails. The food is really good with surprise specials every week. BYOB with setups, nice cold beer, and they have even begun live music usually from musicians within the park. The park is very well maintained and the management is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend!!
Mar 11, 2025 · David SandelHands down the best Rv park I’ve ever stayed at. Quiet, clean, safe, and just an all around amazing place to stay. The managers are very hands on and helpful. The Barn Grill has amazing food, vibes and overall great atmosphere. Literally felt like being with family. If I’m ever back in the area and need a place to park, there will be no doubt I’ll be returning here.
Mar 17, 2025 · Tully MelanconThis place is MAGICAL. You cannot find a place like this anywhere in Texas except maybe in the hill country. And for the price! Can’t beat it. The management crew- Beau, Tammy, and Pam, are quick to help and assist with whatever you need. One of the dryers ruined my comforter and they took care of it for me! They now have almost all new washer and dryers, they have clean showers, there are SO many trees and the people here are lovely.I couldn’t recommend this place enough and we were very sad to leave. If we ever live in an RV again, we will be back here!
