Morena Mobile Village Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the heart of San Diego, California, Morena Mobile Village, located at 1395 Morena Blvd Ste. 1A, San Diego, CA 92110, USA, presents a centrally positioned community with a mix of experiences reported by its users. You can contact them at (619) 276-5699 or +1 619-276-5699 for inquiries about availability and living arrangements.
One recent review paints a positive picture of Morena Mobile Village, highlighting its transformation from past issues into a "wonderful community with friendly people" that feels very safe. This long-term resident, a single female who has lived there for nearly two years, explicitly mentions experiencing "zero issues with theft," which can be a significant concern for those seeking secure "RV parks near me." The review also praises the management for being great and resolving issues quickly when they arise, suggesting a responsive and attentive administration.
A significant advantage noted by this resident is the convenient central location of Morena Mobile Village. Its easy access to the highway simplifies travel to various parts of San Diego, making it an ideal base for those who need to navigate the city frequently. Additionally, the proximity to a "beautiful park" offers a valuable amenity for pet owners and those who enjoy outdoor recreation. The consistent year-round space rent fees are also highlighted as a benefit, eliminating the fluctuation of higher summer season rates that can occur in some other RV parks.
Furthermore, the presence of an on-site manager who keeps a close watch on the community contributes to the overall sense of security and well-being for residents. This level of oversight can be reassuring for those seeking a stable and monitored living environment within the "RV parks near me" category.
However, it is important to consider another, more critical review from a former visitor who stayed at Morena Mobile Village during the previous summer. This individual reported significant issues with "really bad cockroaches" and a persistent "bad sewer smell" that detracted from their experience and prevented them from enjoying the outdoors. The reviewer also mentioned that management, at that time, seemed dismissive of these problems, stating that "that's just the way it is." This starkly contrasts with the positive experience of the long-term resident and suggests that conditions or management responses may have varied or improved over time.
Adding another layer to the information is the experience of a prospective resident attempting to apply to Morena Mobile Village. This individual described a frustrating process involving an online application submitted a month prior with a receipt confirmation, followed by a follow-up email and a phone call, none of which received a response. Interestingly, a neighbor of this applicant reportedly secured a spot by simply stopping in. When the applicant finally visited in person, they were informed of no availability until September, told their online application was likely not received or filled out correctly, and were offered a paper application to be placed behind three other individuals. The applicant expressed significant irritation at seeing their name and phone number on a notepad without any prior contact. This account raises concerns about the efficiency and responsiveness of the application process and communication from the management.
Considering these contrasting experiences, Morena Mobile Village appears to be a community with potential benefits, such as its central location, perceived safety by a long-term resident, and the presence of on-site management. The year-round rent stability and proximity to a park are also attractive features. However, potential residents should be aware of past issues with pests and odors, as well as potential challenges with the application process and communication, as highlighted in the more critical review.
For individuals actively searching for "RV parks near me" in San Diego, Morena Mobile Village warrants further investigation. It is strongly recommended that prospective residents contact the management directly using the provided phone numbers to inquire about the current conditions of the park, pest control measures, sewer system maintenance, the availability of spaces, and the details of the application process. Asking specific questions based on the concerns raised in the reviews will be crucial in getting an accurate understanding of the current living environment and management practices.
Visiting the location in person, if possible, could also provide valuable insights. Observing the overall cleanliness, the condition of the RV sites, and the general atmosphere of the community can help potential residents form their own opinions. If the opportunity arises, speaking with current residents (in addition to the positive review) could offer a more comprehensive perspective on life at Morena Mobile Village.
In conclusion, Morena Mobile Village offers a centrally located RV community in San Diego with reported benefits such as safety, a friendly atmosphere, and convenient access to amenities. However, potential residents should also be aware of past issues and recent experiences with the application process. Direct communication with the management is essential to obtain current information and address any concerns before making a decision about long-term residency at this "RV park near me."

Morena Mobile Village Reviews
Morena Village RV park in the past had some issues but it is all resolved now and it is a wonderful community with friendly people and it feels very safe. I am a single female and I have lived there for almost 2 years and have seen zero issues with theft. It has great management and issues are resolved quickly if they happen at all. I love the easy access to the highway and it’s so simple to get just about anywhere in San Diego because it is centrally located. It has close access to a beautiful park where I could walk my dog to. The space rent fees are constant year-round so there is not the issue of having to pay higher rent in summer season. There is an on-site manager that keep a close eye on the community.
Apr 08, 2025 · Christine AnnWhen I stayed there last summer the site I was in had really bad cockroaches and there was a bad sewer smell that prevented me from being outdoors at all. Management told my neighbors and myself that that's just the way it is. I put an application in online a month ago. I sent a follow-up email. Never heard anything back. I called last week. Never heard anything back. My current neighbor suggested I stop in because he just stopped in last week and got a spot for the summer. Stopped in today and was told there are no spots available until September, if I sent my application in online it wasn't received (even though I received reciept confirmation) and probably because it wasn't filled out correctly and if I wanted to I could fill out a paper application and put it on file in the office but she already has three people ahead of me. And then I'm extra irritated because I see my phone number and name sitting on a notepad on the desk and no one even bothered to call me back. So my neighbor who had no application filled out was able to get a spot last week and I put in an application a month ago can't get a call back or a follow-up email?? I'm sure the manager is very sweet but I think this would frustrate anyone.
Apr 08, 2025 · ML LIf you're looking for the best RV park in San Diego, look no further! This place is truly unbeatable. Its location is perfect, nestled right between some of the top attractions in the area, including Pacific Beach, La Jolla, San Diego Airport, and Coronado Island. It’s an ideal spot for exploring everything the city has to offer. What really sets this RV park apart, though, is the management. The manager is genuinely sweet and goes above and beyond to ensure guests are well taken care of. Whenever we needed anything, she was quick to assist, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this RV park has everything you could want for a fantastic stay in San Diego! Highly recommend!
Mar 14, 2025 · Anette CollinsAnybody who buys this property is stupid. They recently cut the trees down to 5 feet! Whoever idea was to cut them down so low, should be fired. You can see all incoming traffic and they can see into your home. There is no privacy for any of their residents. Anyone can look inside your home and RVs as well as their patios and backyards. Homelessness around the area and theft within the park makes your property easy targets. Not to mention, it will raise your energy bill substantially in the summer because their is no more shade to protect your RV. There needs to be major work done on the asphalt. It is ruined with terrible patch work, big cracks, and pot holes. They put meters in front of the units, so it's harder to park your RVs and cars. You have to maneuver your way into your spot.
