The Cliffs Introduce
Are you seeking exceptional "RV parks near me" that offer a unique living experience tailored for the 55+ community in San Diego? While our platform category might guide you towards traditional RV parks, we want to introduce you to The Cliffs, a distinguished mobile home park that provides a secure, friendly, and amenity-rich environment designed specifically for residents aged 55 years and older. Located at 4950 Old Cliffs Rd, San Diego, CA 92120, USA, The Cliffs offers a tranquil and convenient lifestyle in a well-regarded community.
The environment at The Cliffs is frequently described as excellent, safe, and friendly, fostering a strong sense of community among its residents. This mobile home park distinguishes itself by catering exclusively to the 55 and older demographic, creating a peaceful and harmonious living atmosphere. The presence of open spaces contributes to the overall appeal, providing residents with areas for relaxation and enjoyment of the San Diego weather. Its central location, just off Mission Gorge Road on Old Cliffs Road, offers the tranquility of a residential setting with convenient access to the wider San Diego area's amenities, shopping, and recreational opportunities.
The Cliffs boasts several key features designed to enhance the quality of life for its residents. The presence of two clubhouses serves as central hubs for social activities, gatherings, and community events, fostering interaction and engagement among neighbors. For those seeking relaxation and recreation, the park offers a pool and a jacuzzi, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the Southern California sunshine. The emphasis on a quiet environment ensures a peaceful living experience, allowing residents to enjoy their homes and the community without the disturbances often associated with all-age parks.
Pet owners will appreciate that The Cliffs is a dog-friendly community, recognizing the important role that pets play in the lives of many seniors. The park provides a welcoming environment for furry companions, further contributing to the friendly atmosphere. Additionally, many of the homes (referred to as "coaches" in the review) within The Cliffs offer spectacular views, enhancing the living experience and providing residents with beautiful vistas from their properties. This combination of pet-friendliness and scenic views adds to the unique charm and desirability of The Cliffs.
In terms of services, while specific details about on-site management and maintenance were not extensively provided in the review, the mention of clubhouses and recreational facilities suggests a level of community management and upkeep. However, one recent piece of feedback indicated a change in policy regarding tree trimming on property trees. According to this feedback, residents are now responsible for trimming tree limbs that encroach on their carports or gutters. The park's stated preference is to cut down trees rather than trim them. This is a significant piece of information for prospective residents to consider, as it implies a shift in maintenance responsibilities and could impact the upkeep of individual properties within the park.
Considering the positive aspects highlighted in the reviews, such as the excellent, safe, and friendly environment, the amenities like the two clubhouses, pool, and jacuzzi, the quiet atmosphere, the central location, and the dog-friendly policy, The Cliffs presents itself as a highly desirable 55+ mobile home park in San Diego. The spectacular views from many of the homes further enhance its appeal. However, it is crucial for potential residents to be aware of the recent change in tree trimming policy and understand the implications for maintaining their property.
While the provided information does not include specific promotional offers, the inherent features and positive community feedback serve as strong indicators of the value proposition of The Cliffs. For individuals aged 55 and over seeking a secure, friendly, and active living environment in a well-located San Diego mobile home park, The Cliffs warrants serious consideration. We encourage interested parties to contact The Cliffs directly at (619) 583-3700 or +1 619-583-3700 to inquire about current availability, lot fees, and any specific community guidelines or promotional offers that may be in place. The Cliffs offers a unique opportunity for seniors to enjoy a comfortable and engaging lifestyle in a well-maintained community. Its focus on the 55+ demographic ensures a peaceful and age-appropriate environment. The amenities provided cater to an active and social lifestyle, while the central location offers convenience to the broader San Diego area. Despite the recent change in tree trimming policy, the overall positive feedback regarding safety, friendliness, and the quality of the community suggests that The Cliffs remains a sought-after mobile home park for seniors in the region. We recommend contacting them directly to explore the possibilities of becoming a resident in this esteemed 55+ community.

The Cliffs Reviews
Excellent, safe and friendly mobile home park for 55 years and older. Two clubhouses, pool, jacuzzi with plenty of open space. Ultra quiet and centrally located right off Mission Gorge Road on Old Cliffs Road. Dog friendly with many coaches having spectacular views.
Dec 02, 2017 · JWWJI was just told that they do not do tree trimming of any kind anymore to their property trees, so if the tree limbs are on your carport or gutter it is up to you to take care of it. they stated that they rather cut the tree down, that they can do. Such a shame : (
Jan 16, 2025 · Patti ParkerI just helped a friend move here. This park is a nice one. Very safe, quiet, and clean. Great for retirees.
Mar 03, 2024 · Rodney NickelsPark changed management. This has led to me to increase my rating in hope that the new management will "do the right thing". Old management did not handle situations regarding assault, stalking and harassment. My review might increase as time passes, and more situations occur- if they're handled appropriately. The park is well-kept, and pretty. The housing units spacious and cozy.My family member lives in The Cliffs and chose to live here as a quiet getaway. However, I am sometimes harassed as well, by a neighbor, when I come to this park. I can't even begin to fathom the emotional stress my family member endures.
Mar 31, 2019 · BD BThe park is nice place to live, but the lady who manage the place is not in right job,She is rude, acts like we are nobody; not helpful, I strongly believe some professional people should run this park.Update:12/21/2018water is shout down more than 24 hours management hired 2 day job labor to fix this with no right tolls, lots of elderly people are out of waterupdated 12/22/2018:here is some pictures, 8.30AM no one working on water issue
