Greenbrier Gardens Mobile Introduce
For local users searching within the "RV parks near me" category, Greenbrier Gardens Mobile, located at 8701 Mesa Rd, Santee, CA 92071, USA, presents itself as a mobile home park with notable aspects and recent concerns. You can reach them at (619) 449-3300 or +1 619-449-3300 for further information. It's important to note that while categorized under a platform that might include RV parks, Greenbrier Gardens Mobile primarily functions as a residential mobile home park, although it may accommodate RVs on a long-term basis. Therefore, individuals specifically seeking short-term RV stays might need to inquire about their policies.
According to one positive review, Greenbrier Gardens Mobile offers "reasonable" space rent compared to other parks in the area, which can be a significant financial advantage for residents. The park is also described as "very clean," suggesting that at least at some point, maintaining a tidy environment was a priority. Furthermore, its location offers convenient access to the "Cowels Mountain back path," providing opportunities for hiking and enjoying the natural beauty of the surrounding area. The park was also noted to be "friendly for kids" and situated in a "very nice quiet neighborhood," indicating a potentially family-oriented and peaceful living environment.
However, a more recent review presents a contrasting perspective, expressing significant concerns about the park's management and maintenance. This review suggests a decline in the park's condition and management effectiveness since new managers took over. Specific issues raised include residents allegedly engaging in disruptive behavior, such as parking cars in the middle of the street. Additionally, the reviewer claims that management and other owners park in visitor parking, leaving no spaces for actual guests, which can be a major inconvenience for residents expecting visitors.
The more critical review also points to issues with the physical upkeep of the park, mentioning "weeds everywhere" and residents having "carports full of junk and trash." These observations suggest a potential lack of enforcement of community standards regarding property maintenance. The reviewer further alleges that the current manager and maintenance personnel are not effectively addressing these issues, with complaints of "trash on the streets" and a failure to enforce park rules. A serious accusation is made regarding the maintenance person allegedly spending work hours on personal projects, specifically fixing a mobile home owned by them, at the expense of park upkeep.
Despite these significant criticisms, the reviewer who expressed these concerns did acknowledge one remaining positive aspect: the "low space rents compared to other places." This reinforces the earlier positive feedback regarding affordability. However, the overall tone of the more recent review indicates that the potential cost savings might be offset by perceived declines in management, maintenance, and community standards.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," it's crucial for potential residents, whether in mobile homes or long-term RVs, to weigh these contrasting opinions carefully. While the lower space rent and proximity to Cowels Mountain are attractive features, the allegations of poor management and declining maintenance are serious concerns that warrant further investigation. Individuals considering Greenbrier Gardens Mobile as a long-term residential option should attempt to gather more information and potentially visit the park to assess the current conditions firsthand.
It is important to note that the provided information does not include details about specific services and amenities offered at Greenbrier Gardens Mobile. Typically, mobile home parks provide essential utilities such as water, sewer, and electrical hookups. Some parks may also offer additional amenities like laundry facilities, community rooms, or recreational areas. However, based on the recent negative review, the upkeep and management of these amenities might also be a concern.
For individuals searching within the "RV parks near me" category with the intention of finding a permanent or long-term living situation for their RV, Greenbrier Gardens Mobile might be an option to consider due to its potentially lower space rent. However, it is imperative to inquire specifically about the park's policies regarding long-term RV stays, the availability of suitable spaces, and the amenities provided for RV residents. The concerns raised about management and maintenance should also be addressed with the park management directly.
Potential residents might want to inquire about the current management practices, the enforcement of park rules, and any plans for addressing the maintenance issues mentioned in the negative review. Speaking with current residents, if possible, could provide further insights into the current living conditions and the overall atmosphere of the park.
In conclusion, Greenbrier Gardens Mobile in Santee, CA, presents a mixed picture based on the available reviews. On one hand, it offers the potential for more affordable space rent and a convenient location near outdoor recreational opportunities and a quiet neighborhood. On the other hand, recent feedback raises significant concerns about the effectiveness of the current management, the upkeep of the park, and the enforcement of community standards. For local users browsing the "RV parks near me" category and considering Greenbrier Gardens Mobile for long-term residency, a thorough investigation and personal assessment of the current conditions are strongly recommended before making a decision.

Greenbrier Gardens Mobile Reviews
Space rent is reasonable compare to other parks. This is a very clean park. We have Cowels Mountain back path walking distance, friendly park for kids. Very nice quite neighborhood.
May 13, 2024 · Tal ZueEver since the new managers started it has gone down the hill, I don’t know who was worst the previous or these. People do whatever they want now, cars now park in the middle of the street, management and other owners park in visitors parking leaving no space for actual guests, weeds everywhere, people have their carports full of junk and trash. Manager and maintenance guy don’t do much theres trash on the streets and they don’t enforce rules at all. He spends all his time fixing a mobile home thats owned by him on company time (which is called double dipping) then actually cleaning up the park. If only good thing is we have low space rents compared to other places.
Mar 17, 2024 · LivingwithL&AI have lived here for 20 years. I read some reviews saying some homes are run down. Well... doesn't that apply in most neighborhoods? Sure they could get more in top of the up keep. We live in a mobile home park for crying out loud people. Still beats paying the high rent prices out there.
Jul 11, 2022 · Tom TullochVery clean and orderly mobile home park. Easy to locate addresses. On site pool is well maintained. Seems to be mainly adult aged residents.
Jun 02, 2023 · Cheryl Naylor*Update* it's been over 12 years here and it's just gotten worse. It's under new managment, more new people have moved in, and today I found a used (dried coagulated blood) syringe walking into this place. Neighbors are yelling at others neighbors to shut.their dogs up, the people next door just had a horrendous fight, just just the other day someone yelled at a kid playing outside and kids are jumping in and over the fence for the pool.I've lived here for many years and it's agreat community but it seems harder and harder to find parking for guests, the streets are getting crowded with cars and the new people moving in are not as tidy as previous residents. Not all new residents are like this some in fact are amazing and take so much pride in their home.
