Carousell Village RV Park Introduce
Searching for "RV parks near me" that prioritize cleanliness, safety, and a welcoming community atmosphere? Carousell Village RV Park, located at 21075 US-90, Robertsdale, AL 36567, USA, presents itself as a community-focused RV park with a strong emphasis on these values. However, it's essential to consider the diverse experiences shared by visitors to form a comprehensive understanding of what this park offers.
One reviewer recounted a negative initial interaction, detailing an encounter with the front desk staff that they perceived as rude and accusatory. This individual described stopping briefly at the park due to an emergency and reported being immediately confronted and accused of suspicious activity without any inquiry into their well-being or the reason for their stop. This experience highlights a potential area of concern regarding initial guest relations and communication at Carousell Village RV Park.
In contrast, another reviewer shared a highly positive experience, focusing on the landlord, Miss Vicky. This long-term resident, having been at the park since January 2023, described Miss Vicky as "super sweet," "down to earth," and genuinely caring about people and animals. This paints a picture of a landlord who is personally invested in the well-being of the residents and the overall atmosphere of the park. The reviewer specifically praised Miss Vicky for keeping her property "very clean" and for maintaining a firm stance against "unnecessary things" such as drug use and "nasty people." This emphasis on maintaining a clean and safe environment is a significant positive aspect highlighted in this review.
A unique feature of Carousell Village RV Park, according to this positive review, is the presence of Shetland ponies. The reviewer mentioned that Miss Vicky has these ponies, which were previously shown, and that she allows children to interact with them. This adds a distinct family-friendly and pet-friendly dimension to the park, offering a charming and engaging experience for families with children and animal lovers. The presence of animals, especially those as endearing as Shetland ponies, can contribute to a more welcoming and home-like environment.
The reviewer further described Carousell Village as a "true family oriented, pet friendly and Christian people" environment. This suggests a community with specific values that may appeal to individuals and families seeking a like-minded atmosphere. The mention of "Christian people" implies a community that may be rooted in Christian values, which could be a significant draw for those who share these beliefs.
Regarding practical aspects, the positive review noted that the "prices for rent are very reasonable." Affordability is a crucial factor for many RVers, especially those seeking longer-term stays. The reviewer also commended Miss Vicky for her understanding and willingness to work with residents who might occasionally face difficulties with timely rent payments. This suggests a degree of compassion and flexibility in the management, which can be particularly valuable for residents.
The reviewer explicitly stated their satisfaction with their decision to move to Carousell Village from another RV park, citing issues with drug use and property theft at their previous location. This comparison underscores the sense of safety and security they now feel at Carousell Village, where they have not had to worry about similar issues. The mention of "Great washer and dryer" suggests that the park provides functional and appreciated laundry facilities for its residents' convenience.
Considering these contrasting reviews, Carousell Village RV Park appears to be a community with a strong emphasis on cleanliness, safety, and a family- and pet-friendly environment, largely attributed to the involved and caring landlord, Miss Vicky. The presence of Shetland ponies and the reported reasonable rental prices add to its appeal. However, the negative initial interaction reported by one visitor indicates a potential inconsistency in guest relations that prospective visitors should be aware of.
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in Robertsdale, Alabama, Carousell Village RV Park presents a unique offering with its focus on community values and pet-friendly features. Individuals who prioritize a clean, safe, and potentially Christian-oriented environment, and who appreciate a landlord who is actively involved and caring, may find this park to be a good fit. Families with children who would enjoy interacting with the Shetland ponies might also be particularly drawn to this location.
However, given the single negative review regarding initial guest interaction, it would be prudent for prospective visitors to contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers, (251) 747-2142 or +1 251-747-2142, to inquire about their policies, procedures, and to get a sense of the overall atmosphere. Asking specific questions about short-term versus long-term stays, guest check-in processes, and any community guidelines could help potential visitors determine if Carousell Village RV Park aligns with their expectations and needs. While no specific promotional information was provided, inquiring about current rates and any potential discounts for longer stays would also be beneficial.
In conclusion, Carousell Village RV Park in Robertsdale, Alabama, offers a community environment with a strong emphasis on cleanliness and safety, fostered by a reportedly caring landlord. Its pet-friendly policy, unique Shetland pony interaction, and reasonable rental prices are notable features. However, prospective guests should be mindful of the reported negative initial interaction and conduct their own due diligence by contacting the park directly to ensure it meets their specific requirements for an "RV park near me."

Carousell Village RV Park Reviews
We pulled in here for an emergency and parked our cars for 30 seconds. The front desk lady came out and accused my 16 year old son of doing a drug stop. Why would she do that? She did not ask if we were okay or why we stopped. She was incredibly rude and mean. She said we were trespassing. I was shocked! I told her to have a good day and left immediately.
Mar 27, 2025 · Breanne CunninghamI love the Landlord Miss Vicky. She is super sweet 🎂 down to earth. Care's about people and animals. I've been here since January 29,2023. She keeps her property very clean. Also does not put up with unnecessary things. For instance drug use or nasty people. She has Shetland ponies. Their so precious , she used to have them in show. Also allow children to interact with them. A true family oriented, pet friendly and Christian people. The prices for rent are very reasonable. Miss Vicky also will work with you if somehow you can come up with rent on time. Im very happy with my decision to move from Delta Boy's RV park. That is located in Bay minette. It was so bad with people on methamphetamines. That my trailer was broken into a lot of things of mine came up missing. I never even had to worry about getting my door fixed. Around at Carousel 🎠 RV park 🏞️ thank you so.... Very much to the landlord, staff and Fred. Great washer and dryer.

Oct 19, 2023 · roland darnellIncredible people, incredible environment. Best facilities within a 100 miles. The owner and the park manager would give you the shirt off their backs to help someone in genuine need. In my opinion their rates should be higher, and you can always count on them to take care of the riffraff. And the only people writing bad reviews are the RiffRaft.
May 27, 2024 · Cameron SprayIt's a lovely place to hang up your hat for any length of time; safe, and peaceful. Anyone would be hard-pressed to find a nicer group of people than those caring for Carousel Village.
