Hilltop RV Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Robertsdale, Alabama area, Hilltop RV Park, located at 23420 Co Rd 64, Robertsdale, AL 36567, USA, presents itself as a friendly and conveniently located option, particularly for travelers along Interstate 10. Based on recent customer reviews, the park is noted for its accommodating management, reasonable prices, and practical amenities, making it a worthwhile consideration for both overnight stays and potentially longer visits. This introduction aims to provide a detailed overview of the environment, services, and features of Hilltop RV Park based on the available feedback.
One of the most consistently praised aspects of Hilltop RV Park is its management, specifically Judy. Reviewers describe Judy as "very friendly and accommodating" and highlight her "stellar customer service." The personal touch of being escorted to a site by the manager contributes to a welcoming first impression. This level of friendly and helpful management can significantly enhance the overall experience at an RV park, making guests feel valued and well-cared for. For those who prioritize a positive and personal interaction with park staff when choosing from "RV parks near me," Hilltop RV Park appears to excel in this area.
The physical environment of Hilltop RV Park is described as practical and clean. The sites are a mix of rock and grass and are reported to be "fairly flat," which is essential for comfortable RV parking and setup. While one reviewer noted the presence of "some very old campers," they also emphasized that "the place was clean," indicating that the park maintains a level of tidiness despite having some long-term residents with older units. This suggests a focus on cleanliness and upkeep throughout the park.
Safety is another positive attribute mentioned by a reviewer, who stated that the "place seemed safe" and that they walked daily without any issues. This sense of security is crucial for travelers looking for peace of mind during their stay. Knowing that the environment is safe and conducive to walking can be a significant comfort, especially for those traveling alone or with pets.
Location is a key factor for many RV travelers, particularly those on long journeys. Hilltop RV Park boasts an "easy off I-10" location. This convenient access to a major interstate highway makes it an ideal stopover for those traveling through the area. The ease of getting on and off the interstate can save valuable time and reduce stress, especially after a long day of driving. For those specifically searching for "RV parks near me" that offer quick and easy access to I-10, Hilltop RV Park is a strong contender.
The pricing at Hilltop RV Park is described as "reasonable," making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers. Furthermore, the park offers a "veteran's discount," which is a commendable gesture that adds to its appeal for military veterans. The specific rate mentioned in one review was $40 for a large pull-through site with a veteran's discount, suggesting that the standard rates are also likely competitive for the area.
The RV sites themselves are noted to be spacious. One reviewer mentioned a "large pull through (around 80x30 ft.)," which is substantial and can easily accommodate even larger RVs and tow vehicles. Pull-through sites are particularly convenient as they eliminate the need to back in, making setup and departure much easier. The availability of large pull-through sites is a significant advantage for many RVers.
Hilltop RV Park offers "full hook ups," which is a standard expectation for many RV travelers. Full hookups typically include connections for electricity (likely 30 and/or 50 amp), water, and sewer at each site, providing all the necessary utilities for a comfortable and self-contained RV stay.
The atmosphere of the park is described as "quiet," which aligns with the earlier mention of a safe environment conducive to walking. A quiet setting is often preferred by RVers looking for a restful night's sleep or a peaceful daytime environment. The presence of "nice long term tenants" surrounding transient guests suggests a stable and potentially friendly community within the park.
One reviewer specifically mentioned that Hilltop RV Park was a "great overnight option," highlighting its suitability for travelers passing through the area. The combination of easy I-10 access, reasonable prices, and full hookups makes it an ideal choice for a convenient and comfortable overnight stop.
Adding a touch of local flavor, one reviewer humorously noted the park's proximity to "Buccee's." Buc-ee's is a popular Texas-based chain of large convenience stores and gas stations known for their wide selection of goods, clean restrooms, and numerous fuel pumps. While perhaps not a traditional RV park amenity, its proximity can be a significant convenience for travelers needing fuel, groceries, or a quick stop for supplies.
While the reviews provide a positive overview, they do not explicitly detail all the amenities that Hilltop RV Park might offer. In addition to the full hookups and laundry facilities (inferred from the mention of long-term tenants), typical amenities found in RV parks might include:
- Restroom and shower facilities.
- Wi-Fi access.
- Potable water access for filling RV tanks.
- Waste disposal facilities.
- Potentially some recreational areas or green spaces.
To obtain a complete list of amenities, it would be best to contact the park directly.
Promotional information is limited to the mention of a "veteran's discount." Local users who are veterans should inquire about the specifics of this discount when booking. Other potential promotions, such as seasonal rates or discounts for longer stays, are not mentioned in the reviews. Interested travelers should contact Hilltop RV Park directly at (256) 590-6965 or +1 256-590-6965 to inquire about current rates, availability, and any special offers that may be available.
In conclusion, Hilltop RV Park in Robertsdale, Alabama, offers a compelling combination of friendly and accommodating management (particularly Judy), reasonable prices, convenient access to I-10, spacious pull-through sites with full hookups, and a quiet and safe environment. Its proximity to Buc-ee's is an added convenience for travelers. While it appears to be a great overnight option, its welcoming atmosphere and practical amenities also make it suitable for longer stays. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" along I-10 in Alabama should certainly consider Hilltop RV Park and contact them directly for more information and reservations.

Judy the mngr was very friendly and accommodating. She brought us to our site. Site was rock/grass and fairly flat. Place seemed safe, I walked daily with no issues. Location easy off i10. Price reasonable. There are some very old campers but the place was clean.
Apr 19, 2025 · Jill GardnerJudy Brown is the best! We appreciate the stellar customer service 🌺 No frills RV park. Full hook ups. Our site was a large pull through (around 80x30 ft.) for $40 with a veteranʻs discount. Quiet. Nice long term tenants surrounded us. For us, it was a great overnight option. Close to Bucceeʻs 🤣
Mar 08, 2025 · Jeri SimpsonYour average RV Park, it was clean, and quiet. Close to buc-ee's that was a plus!! Nice private shower rooms, laundry room could use some TLC. But all in all I would recommend this park!!
Apr 08, 2025 · Bryant HumphreyThis RV park is great! Mrs Judy in the office is the sweetest most helpful human being!! The owner of the campground is awesome as well! We enjoy living here and the neighbors have been very friendly and welcoming! Thank you Hilltop for making this move so special for our family!
Jul 15, 2024 · Raven NicoleLove our stay at Hilltop. It is a nice, quiet, and so well managed park. The park has many nice trees and plenty of places to walk our 2 dogs and it's on a hill so there is always a breeze. Also, it is conveniently located to all the activities in the surrounding area. Ms. Judy, the park manager, really does her best to help make the place feel like home. We would stay here again and again.
