Carriage Cove Introduce
Welcome to Carriage Cove, a mobile home park located at 9241 Diamond Head Ct, Houma, LA 70363, USA. While our platform primarily serves individuals searching for "RV parks near me," we also aim to provide valuable information to local users seeking long-term residential options such as mobile home communities. Carriage Cove offers a residential setting in Houma, Louisiana, and while a direct phone number is not provided in the available information, interested parties can likely find contact details through online directories or by visiting the location.
Based on the provided customer reviews, Carriage Cove has experienced significant changes in management and is currently undergoing updates aimed at improving the community. Reviews span from 2022 to 2024, offering a glimpse into the park's evolution. Earlier feedback from 2022 indicates considerable dissatisfaction with the management at that time. One reviewer described the management as "NO WHERE NEAR GREAT," recounting a "nightmare" experience trying to move in and criticizing the lack of support provided to new residents. This reviewer also mentioned difficulties encountered by contractors trying to hook up utilities, attributing these issues to the then-management.
Adding to the concerns from the past management era, another reviewer in 2022 echoed similar sentiments regarding the difficulty of contacting and working with "Ms. Kim," suggesting a lack of organization and effectiveness. However, there is also a contrasting perspective from a reviewer whose parents had lived in Carriage Cove for several years without significant trouble, as long as rent was paid, indicating that some residents may have had relatively uneventful experiences under previous ownership.
A significant turning point appears to have occurred with a change in ownership. An update from September 2, 2022, explicitly mentions "Management has changed," expressing hope that this would resolve the existing issues. Subsequent feedback from September 26, 2024, offers a much more positive outlook. This updated review praises "Jason and his team" for doing a "fantastic job" and notes that "a lot of work will be done to make Carriage Cove a desirable place to live." The reviewer expresses looking forward to these updates, suggesting ongoing improvements to the park.
Further positive developments include the addition of a new park for children, which, despite some damage from Hurricane Ida (likely in the past, as the review is from 2024), is described as "looking and feeling more family/community like." This indicates a positive shift towards creating a more welcoming environment for families within Carriage Cove.
Despite these improvements, a cautionary note remains from a reviewer who advises residents to "watch for sticky fingers," suggesting that, like any community, there may be occasional issues with theft or petty crime. This highlights the importance of remaining vigilant and aware of one's surroundings, even in a community undergoing positive changes.
Considering these reviews, the environment of Carriage Cove has likely evolved:
- Past Management Issues: Previous management was described as unhelpful and difficult to work with, leading to significant challenges for new residents and contractors.
- New and Improved Management: Current management under Jason and his team is receiving positive feedback for their efforts in making Carriage Cove a more desirable place to live.
- Ongoing Updates and Improvements: The community is reportedly undergoing significant work and updates, suggesting a commitment to enhancing the living environment.
- Family-Friendly Initiatives: The addition of a new children's park indicates a move towards becoming a more family-oriented community.
- Potential for Minor Crime: Residents are advised to be mindful of potential petty theft, suggesting that security awareness remains important.
In terms of services and features, the reviews offer limited specifics. However, based on the nature of a mobile home park, typical services and features might include:
- Individual lots for mobile homes with utility hookups (water, electricity, sewer). The process of connecting these utilities was a point of contention under previous management but may have improved.
- Roadways within the park for access to the lots.
- Waste management services for garbage collection.
- The new children's playground is a significant amenity for families.
- Potential for on-site management, now seemingly more proactive and effective under the new team.
To obtain current and accurate information about the services and features of Carriage Cove, local users should seek contact information for the new management and inquire about:
- Availability and size of lots.
- Monthly lot rental fees and lease terms.
- Procedures for utility hookups and billing under the new management.
- Park rules and regulations.
- Any additional amenities or services provided.
- The status and details of the ongoing updates and improvements.
- Security measures in place within the community.
The positive updates regarding the new management and the development of a family-friendly environment can be considered promotional aspects for Carriage Cove. The commitment to making it a "desirable place to live" suggests a proactive approach to improving the community's appeal. However, the past negative experiences should also be acknowledged and addressed by potential residents when seeking information from the current management.
Houma, Louisiana, offers a unique cultural context for its residents. Carriage Cove's location on Diamond Head Ct would provide access to the amenities of Houma. The ongoing improvements and the focus on creating a better living environment under the new management could make Carriage Cove an increasingly attractive option for those seeking a mobile home community in the area.
For local users searching for a "mobile home park near me" in Houma, Carriage Cove at 9241 Diamond Head Ct presents a community undergoing positive transformation under new management. While past reviews highlight significant challenges, more recent feedback indicates a promising shift towards becoming a more desirable and family-friendly place to live. Interested individuals should contact the new management to learn about the current status of the park, the ongoing updates, and the opportunities for residency.
In conclusion, Carriage Cove in Houma, Louisiana, is a mobile home park that has seen recent positive changes in management and is actively working towards becoming a better community for its residents. Local users interested in long-term residency in a community that is on an upward trajectory should seek further information from the current management to assess if Carriage Cove meets their needs.

Apr 26, 2025 · Beverly C. BurleighUpdated 9.26.2024Jason an his team have done a fantastic job!Seems a lot of work will be done to make Carriage Cove a desirable place to live.Looking forward to the updates.UPDATE 9.2.22 Management has changed. Hopefully this will resolve issues.***********************Management is NO WHERE NEAR GREAT!!!!! If you don't want to do the leg work to get YOU moved in on THEIR property, DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! I can't even begin to tell you the nightmare we had!I've had a number of contractors who had to hook up water and electricity, and they all said Ms. Kim is THE WORSE and HARDEST person to get in touch with; seems like she is not with it and doesn't know what she's doing.2nd the same story by the Consolidated water company.Parents have lived there for a # of years and never really had trouble.Long as you pay your rent, they don't bother you.Carriage Cove owners have changed. This is where it went downhill.A new park was added for the kids, and outside of damage from Ida, it's looking and feeling more family/community like.Like anywhere else, you do have to watch for sticky fingers.
Sep 26, 2024 · Sarah Kate1st time EVER in a mobile home park. It was very clean with paved streets. People out walking their pets, children playing in the park. Area kept clean, & grass gets cut. I DEFINATELY recommend especially if your a clean person who wants to be in a clean environment. Not trashy like other mobile home parks.
Apr 30, 2022 · Angel MillerI'm only giving this park 2 stars because the mobile home park itself is very nice. However the manager was very rude. We were there looking for a lot for our mobile home and she assumed we were there acquiring about a FEMA application. She then walked out of the office on us. It just made us feel unwelcomed so we left.
Nov 15, 2021 · Soulful Arts EntertainmentDO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!Absolutely would never stay here again nor recommend staying here.Moved here to help at the hospital as a nurse during COVID & recovery from hurricane that left 1/2 the hospital unusable. First month was not prorated. Charged me for the full month. The second month they were to call me before charging my card (note on file & was done the first month). They were also to give me a credit for the prorated amount not given on the first month - not done again. Third month moved out. They did not call before charging card & once again charged a full month pulse CC administration fee. So now they owe me a full month plus prorated amount for the first month. Called multiple times & got refunded not even the full amount. Still had to pay. So these people receive $225 more than they should have from someone there to help this community.DO NOT STAY HERE !!!
