Cedar Hollow RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" with a focus on long-term living, Cedar Hollow RV Park located at 177 McFarland Ln, Weatherford, TX 76088, USA, presents itself as a small and quiet option just outside of Weatherford. This park caters primarily to individuals seeking a long-term residential setting for their RVs.
Based on available customer reviews, Cedar Hollow RV Park offers a relatively simple and unamenitized living experience. One reviewer, who stated they had been living at the park for over two years, described it as a "long term living park" that is "small quite" and "has trees." This suggests a more natural and less bustling environment compared to some larger RV resorts.
It is important to note that the same reviewer also highlighted a significant concern regarding the demeanor of one of the owners. The review details an incident where the owner allegedly approached the reviewer in a rude and aggressive manner regarding parking a car on the grass. The reviewer further stated that this particular owner "always angry and acts as if he is above us trailer park people" and "tries to talk down to you if you let him." Following the initial interaction, the reviewer claimed the owner returned and threatened them with eviction for not following rules, despite the reviewer stating they had never had any prior issues.
Adding another layer to the management dynamic, the reviewer also mentioned that "one of the owners is very personable and easy to get along with." This indicates a potential inconsistency in management style and interaction, which prospective tenants might want to consider. The reviewer shared this information for others "looking to rent here" to be aware of potential challenges.
The review explicitly states that Cedar Hollow RV Park has "no amenities." This is a crucial piece of information for those searching within the "RV parks near me" category, as many parks offer facilities such as restrooms, showers, laundry rooms, recreational areas, or Wi-Fi. The absence of these amenities at Cedar Hollow RV Park suggests a more basic and self-sufficient living arrangement. Individuals considering this park should ensure their RV is fully equipped to meet their needs without reliance on communal facilities.
The location of Cedar Hollow RV Park is described as "just outside of Weatherford." This could be advantageous for those seeking a quieter, more rural setting while still having relatively easy access to the services and conveniences of Weatherford. Potential residents might want to research the proximity to essential services such as grocery stores, medical facilities, and other necessities based on their individual needs.
In summary, Cedar Hollow RV Park offers a small and quiet, long-term living environment with trees, located just outside of Weatherford, Texas. However, it is essential for prospective residents to be aware that the park reportedly has no amenities. Additionally, a recent review raises concerns about the interpersonal skills of one of the owners, contrasting with the positive interaction experienced with the other owner. Individuals considering Cedar Hollow RV Park for long-term living should weigh the peaceful environment and potential long-term community against the lack of amenities and the reported negative interaction with one of the owners. It would be prudent to contact the park directly at (817) 458-8438 or +1 817-458-8438 to inquire further about their policies, management style, and the specific features of their long-term RV sites before making a decision.
Given the limited information and the contrasting experiences highlighted in the single available review, it is difficult to provide extensive promotional information. Instead, potential local users searching for "RV parks near me" are encouraged to conduct thorough due diligence. This could include contacting Cedar Hollow RV Park directly with specific questions about their rules, expectations, and management practices. Visiting the park in person, if possible, could also provide valuable insight into the environment and the interactions between residents and management. While the park may offer a quiet and treed setting for long-term RV living, the lack of amenities and the reported issues with one of the owners are critical factors to consider.
For those prioritizing amenities, a more vibrant community atmosphere, or consistently positive management interactions, exploring other options within the "RV parks near me" category might be beneficial. However, if a simple, quiet, long-term living situation outside of Weatherford is your primary need, and you are comfortable with the possibility of limited amenities and the management dynamic described in the review, Cedar Hollow RV Park could be a consideration, pending your own direct investigation and interaction with the park.

Cedar Hollow RV Park Reviews
I've been here over two years never late on rent no noise no issues until today when one of the owners came up to me and almost barked at me to get my car out of the grass (front yard ) where there would be no grass if not for me if would be all rocks and dirt his demeanor is always angry and acts as if he is above us trailer park people and I had a friend (girl) with me when he came up and scolded me for parking there very rudely for the first time . He had no tact no politeness a few minutes after came to my door and threatened me with eviction and told me to move my ass out if I can't follow rules .mind you Ive never had any issues here . I want to make it clear one of the owners is very personable and easy to get along with but the other one like I said looks down on you tries to talk down to you if you let him so there is a little info for you guys looking to rent here good luck on your search for a park
Feb 24, 2025 · Wade KolbIt's a long term living park. Small quite. Has trees. No amenities just outside of weatherford .
Feb 01, 2025 · Jennifer MauriceThis park actually has a daily rate as well as weekly & monthly (that's pretty cool). It's in the country so it's nice and quiet. Peaceful. The employees are cool & get stuff done and we get free wifi. I can play my games and watch my movies will no skips or 'buffering', 'loading' or slow connection. And the view of the Texas sky is freaking awesome too!!! The colors during sunset are different every night and it's just soooo big and breath taking.
Feb 08, 2024 · Monolieto WilsonWhy do the owners of Cedar Hollow RV Park pretend to be customers writing reviews on their own RV Park? I'll never understand that. We lived at Cedar Hollow for a month. Some of our neighbors teenagers thought it would be funny to bang on our RV door (and dent it) and run away at 2:00 AM. There are no bathrooms, no laundry, no WiFi, no anything. We rented a covered Site for $600 per month, plus electric. That's a lot of money for no amenities. We only talked to Jeremy on the phone. We actually met Bryce. He had to drive to the RV Park to install electricity meters in order for us to get electricity to our RV. We spent our first night in the dark. When he finally showed up, he acted like he was being bothered to turn on the electric. (Don't rent the Site if it's not ready to rent). They asked us to pay in cash, including the deposit. When we left, they didn't return our deposit. One of the tenants (old man who mows for the owners) told us that the owners don't like to come to their park. The owners used rocks, instead of gravel for the Sites, and the rocks cut your tires. Just drive through the park and you'll see some of the oldest, nastiest RV's ever. There is no RV age requirement. The owners also own Pecan Hollow RV Park in Weatherford Texas. Just drive through that park, and you'll see the same thing. When business owners ask you for cash and don't give you a receipt, they're usually not reporting the revenue to the IRS or Texas. Our advice...... steer clear of these 2 places. I don't know if God will have mercy on their souls. Romans 13:6-7 says to pay your taxes.
