Cinnamon Creek RV Park Introduce
For those searching for 'RV parks near me' in the Dixie Inn, Louisiana area, especially those traveling along Interstate 20, Cinnamon Creek RV Park, located at 12996 US-371, Dixie Inn, LA 71055, USA, offers a convenient option for overnight stays. Based on recent customer reviews, the park is characterized by its accommodating owner, clean facilities, and ease of access, although its proximity to major roadways also results in noticeable traffic noise.
One of the frequently mentioned positive aspects of Cinnamon Creek RV Park is the helpfulness and accommodation provided by the owner. One reviewer specifically noted that the owner was "very accommodating" when they made a last-minute change to their travel plans. This level of service can be particularly reassuring for travelers who may encounter unexpected delays or need to adjust their itineraries on short notice. The willingness of the owner to assist guests suggests a customer-focused approach to managing the RV park.
Another significant advantage highlighted by a reviewer who was dry camping is the quality and cleanliness of the bathhouse and laundry room facilities. These were described as "very nice and clean." Furthermore, the park employs a combo lock system to secure these facilities, which adds an element of safety and security for guests using them. Clean and secure restrooms and laundry areas are essential amenities for RV travelers, especially those who prefer to dry camp or are on longer journeys, making Cinnamon Creek RV Park an appealing choice for those prioritizing these features when searching for 'RV parks near me'.
Convenience of location is another key benefit of Cinnamon Creek RV Park, particularly for those traveling along I-20. One reviewer explicitly mentioned that the park is "very convenient and close to I-20" and offers "very easy in and out" access. This ease of access to a major interstate highway makes it an ideal stopover point for travelers looking to break up a long drive. The availability of pull-through sites with full hookups (FHU) further enhances this convenience, allowing for quick and hassle-free setup and departure, especially for larger RVs.
However, the proximity to major roadways, while offering convenience, also comes with a notable drawback: traffic noise. One reviewer pointed out that there is "lots of traffic noise due to proximity of multiple major roadways." This is an important consideration for light sleepers or those particularly sensitive to noise. While one reviewer still managed to get a good night's rest despite the noise, others might find it more disruptive. If a quiet and secluded environment is a top priority when searching for 'RV parks near me', the traffic noise at Cinnamon Creek RV Park might be a significant factor to weigh.
Interestingly, one reviewer stated that while Cinnamon Creek RV Park was suitable for an overnight stop, they would not choose it for a vacation. This suggests that the park's primary appeal lies in its functionality and convenience for short-term stays rather than its suitability as a destination for a longer recreational trip. This perception could be due to the surrounding environment or the lack of extensive on-site amenities typically associated with vacation-oriented RV parks.
The provided reviews do not offer detailed information about the environment of Cinnamon Creek RV Park beyond its proximity to highways. Aspects such as the layout of the park, the size and spacing of the sites, the presence of trees or greenery, or any scenic views are not described. Similarly, there is no mention of additional amenities beyond the clean bathhouse and laundry room, such as Wi-Fi, recreational areas, or pet-friendly facilities (though the accommodation of a dry camper suggests basic hookups are available at some sites). Potential guests seeking these specific features would need to inquire directly with the park.
No promotional information or special offers are mentioned in the provided reviews. Individuals interested in staying at Cinnamon Creek RV Park should contact them directly using the provided phone numbers, (318) 371-5111 or +1 318-371-5111, to inquire about current rates, availability, and any potential discounts for longer stays or specific groups (e.g., seniors, military). It would also be prudent to ask about the specific types of hookups available at each site and any other amenities offered.
In conclusion, Cinnamon Creek RV Park in Dixie Inn, LA, appears to be a well-maintained and conveniently located option, particularly for those seeking a clean and easy overnight stop while traveling along I-20. The accommodating owner and the clean, secure bathhouse and laundry facilities are notable positives. However, the significant traffic noise due to its proximity to major roadways is a factor that potential guests should consider. While perhaps not ideal for a long vacation seeking peace and quiet, Cinnamon Creek RV Park seems to fulfill the needs of travelers looking for a reliable and convenient place to rest during their journey. Further inquiry with the park directly is recommended to gather more details about specific amenities and pricing.

Cinnamon Creek RV Park Reviews
This was an overnight stop for use. The owner was very accommodating as this was a last minute change to our trip. We asked for a site close to the bath house since we dry camp. The bathrooms and laundry room were very nice and clean. They keep it locked with a combo lock for safety. Would I go here on vacation? No, but it was fine for stopping for the night.
Mar 01, 2025 · Barb CollinsOvernight stop for us. Very convenient and close to I-20. Very easy in and out. Pull through, FHU. Bathrooms very clean. Owners super nice. Lots of traffic noise due to proximity of multiple major roadways.
Apr 05, 2025 · Susanne BoatwrightIt was a quick overnight. Not allowed to play ball with the dog and there is no off leash area so we had to get creative and find a place near by. Other than than a quick stop and great Cajun food a block away
Apr 06, 2025 · Kimberly LambertIt was the nicest place in the area but that isn't saying much. The pictures online definitely churched up the place. Between the homeless guy sleeping on the bench at the unattended office to the massive fire ant issue the place was just sketchy. It had clean bathrooms but you didn’t feel safe to walk to them alone. We cut our stay short to round out the experience.
Aug 18, 2024 · Paula KightBooked this space by phone on a Sunday when the office was closed. Great service by the manager by phone. Very clear, concise directions and instructions for access to the shower/laundry facility. Shower/laundry facility is immaculate. Rate it 5 stars for excellent. Location is great if you want close to the freeway, but if you don’t want any noise, this park is not for you. Upon arrival, which was in the dark, the park didn’t look too great. All gravel and the space markers are a bit small. Great place for a quick, overnight stay. Close to fast food places and several miles to nicer restaurants in downtown Minden. Lovely town.
