City View Community Introduce
If you are searching for "RV Parks Near Me" or considering a mobile home community in Spartanburg, South Carolina, City View Community, located at 610 Signal Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29306, USA, presents a location with varied experiences reported by its residents. Understanding these perspectives can be crucial in determining if City View Community aligns with your needs for either short-term RV stays or long-term residency.
One former resident, who claims to have been the first to move into City View Community in 2023 and resided there for a year and a half, described the community as "very and very quiet." This suggests a potentially peaceful environment, which can be a significant draw for those seeking tranquility in their living situation or during their travels. However, this positive aspect was overshadowed by significant negative experiences with an individual named Joel, presumably part of the management.
According to this former resident, interactions with Joel were marked by what they perceived as harassment towards themselves, their children, and visitors. They reported feeling constantly watched, leading to discomfort. Furthermore, they alleged inconsistent monthly charges on their portal, with prices varying frequently. The former resident also mentioned experiencing multiple changes in management during their relatively short stay. They claimed that after posting a negative review upon moving out in December, they were contacted by Joel and asked to remove it. This account strongly advises potential residents to "read over contract very carefully." The reviewer concluded by stating they had witnessed numerous people from out of town move in and then quickly move back out.
In contrast, a more recent review from someone who moved into City View Community in February 2024 offers a significantly different perspective. This new resident, relocating from Charleston, SC, praised Joel for making their transition "very easy." They highlighted Joel's patience in showing them various homes until they found the right fit. This reviewer described the community as "quiet" and noted that "everyone has been so nice," concluding that "This is a great place to live."
These contrasting reviews highlight the importance of considering multiple perspectives when evaluating a potential RV park or mobile home community. The first review raises serious concerns about management style, consistency in billing, and overall comfort, while the second offers a positive experience with the same individual, Joel, and emphasizes the welcoming nature of the community.
For individuals searching for "RV Parks Near Me," the information provided offers limited specifics about RV-specific amenities. While the community appears to accommodate various types of housing, including what the first reviewer referred to as "homes," it is unclear whether dedicated RV sites with necessary hookups (water, electricity, sewer) are readily available. Potential RV visitors should directly inquire about the availability and nature of such amenities, as well as the size and accessibility of RV spaces.
For those considering long-term residency in a mobile home at City View Community, the quiet environment mentioned by both reviewers could be a significant advantage. However, the discrepancies in management experiences are crucial to consider. Prospective long-term residents should seek to understand the current management policies, procedures for addressing resident concerns, and the stability of the management team. The fluctuation in monthly charges reported by one resident also warrants careful inquiry into the fee structure and what is included in the base rent.
Spartanburg, South Carolina, offers a mix of suburban and urban living with access to various amenities and attractions. Located in the Upstate region, it provides residents with shopping centers, restaurants, parks, and cultural venues. The specific location of City View Community within Spartanburg will influence its proximity to these resources and the overall convenience for residents and visitors.
Given the conflicting accounts regarding management, it is highly recommended that anyone considering City View Community, either for a short-term RV stay or long-term residency, contact the management directly at (864) 285-3182 or +1 864-285-3182. This direct communication will allow potential residents and visitors to ask specific questions related to their needs and to gain a firsthand understanding of the current management practices and community environment. Inquiring about current rates, available sites or homes, and the terms of any agreements or contracts is essential.
It would also be beneficial, if possible, to speak with current residents to gather a broader range of opinions and experiences within City View Community. While online reviews can provide initial insights, direct conversations can offer a more nuanced understanding of day-to-day life in the park.
In conclusion, City View Community in Spartanburg, SC, presents a mobile home park with a seemingly quiet environment. However, the experiences reported by residents regarding management vary significantly. While one former resident described negative interactions and inconsistencies, a more recent resident praised the current manager for facilitating a smooth transition. For those searching for "RV Parks Near Me" or considering long-term living in Spartanburg, City View Community warrants careful consideration and thorough due diligence, including direct communication with the management and, if possible, current residents, to reconcile the differing perspectives and determine if it meets individual needs and expectations.

City View Community Reviews
So a couple of months ago I was a resident at city Veiw, I believe I was the very first person to ever move to city veiw in 2023! And I watch I grow throughout the months and year in a half I had been there! I was there before Joel started. I was forced to move out back in December! And it hurt me that I had to leave! The community is very and very quiet! I constantly bump heads with Joel! He always harass me and my son’s and anyone that came over to see me! I felt like I was being watch everyday! Which kind of made it uncomfortable! It was to the point where he would say things and I would brush it off and when I seen him out I would go another way! So dealing with Joel was very uncomfortable! Living in city veiw the prices varies from month to month it was always extra charges on my portal! It never stayed the same! It was constantly different management from the time I moved in until the time I moved out! I had put up a review when I moved out and I was called and ask to take it down by Joel. I just want people to know what they are doing once you sign your contract and read over it very carefully! Joel was always a a-hole towards me and my kids! I have seen so many people from out of town move in and move right back out!
Apr 18, 2025 · loretta simsWe moved in February 2024 from Charleston, SC. Joel made the transition very easy for us. He took his time to show us different homes with layouts, till we found the right one for us. The community is quiet and everyone has been so nice. This is a great place to live.
Jul 10, 2024 · Tanya BevisI would not buy here unless you want your lot rent " HOA" to go up every month. Started out at $450 now paying $712. And not to mention the property tax is outrageous. You don't own the land only the trailer and your property tax is close to $3000. No water meters for the trailers, so they charge you whatever they want for the water bill.So be looking for a $80 water bill. Not to mention you pay cash for your trailer, and you find out it's still in the communities name not yours. It has been a nightmare!!
Mar 03, 2025 · Tonya AikenI watched City View for many months. I thought this would be a perfect place for me. When I made the decision to stop in and speak to Joel, he made it work. He wears many hats and we are fortunate to have him. He has always been available when I had a question. As for my move here? No regrets. I love my home, my neighbors, the community as a whole. Thank you City View!Kelly S. too👉👉👉
Sep 26, 2024 · Cheryl FowlerWhen we first walked into the office to check out City View community, we immediately felt welcomed. Joel, the manager was so patient with our questions and we had many. After making the decision to purchase a home here, Joel kept us up to date since we were moving from another state. The community is clean and well maintained and quiet just as he said it was. We appreciate his honesty instead of just trying to make a sale. We are very happy with our decision to move to City View.
