Coach House Mobile Estates Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" with a focus on a senior (55+) community in Chico, California, or if you are considering Coach House Mobile Estates for mobile home living, located at 982 E Lassen Ave # 4, Chico, CA 95973, USA, it is important to consider both the positive and negative feedback available from individuals who have experience with this park. You can contact them at (530) 342-5860 or +1 530-342-5860 for inquiries.
One reviewer describes Coach House Mobile Estates as a "Great senior mobile home park (ages 55+)." This immediately establishes the park's target demographic. The reviewer highlights several positive aspects, including its "smaller sized" nature, which could appeal to those who prefer a more intimate community setting. The park also boasts a "Convenient location," suggesting easy access to local amenities, services, and transportation in Chico. Affordability is another noted benefit, with the reviewer mentioning "affordable space rent." Furthermore, the presence of "friendly neighbors" contributes to a positive social environment within the park. Finally, the availability of a "pool and clubhouse too!" indicates on-site recreational and social facilities for residents to enjoy.
However, a contrasting and concerning review presents a significant issue regarding the park's management style and enforcement of rules. This reviewer states they "Would give a 0 if possible," indicating a highly negative experience. The core of their complaint revolves around the park manager's treatment of their nephew, who was allowed by a friend (presumably a resident) to park in her driveway. According to the reviewer, the manager "makes him move his car all the time" and "always picks on my nephew and makes him feel anxious." This suggests a potentially rigid and inflexible enforcement of parking rules, even in situations where a resident has seemingly granted permission.
The situation is further exacerbated by the reviewer's claim that they have informed the manager about their nephew's autism and epilepsy, yet the manager "doesn't respect or even care." If true, this indicates a severe lack of empathy and understanding on the part of the management towards individuals with disabilities. Such behavior could create a hostile and unwelcoming environment for residents and their visitors who may have specific needs or circumstances.
Considering these two contrasting reviews, potential residents, including seniors looking for a mobile home community or those seeking "RV parks near me" with a senior focus for a longer stay (if permitted), should carefully weigh the reported positives against the significant concerns raised about the management's behavior and rule enforcement. While the park may offer a convenient location, affordable rent, friendly neighbors, and amenities like a pool and clubhouse, the alleged insensitivity and rigid enforcement of rules by the manager could negatively impact the quality of life for residents and their visitors.
For those considering Coach House Mobile Estates, it is crucial to seek further information and clarification on the park's policies and management practices. This could involve:
- Contacting the park management directly at (530) 342-5860 or +1 530-342-5860 to inquire about parking rules, guest policies, and the management's approach to addressing residents' concerns and individual circumstances.
- Specifically asking about the park's policies regarding visitors and temporary parking to understand the regulations and potential limitations.
- If you or a loved one has specific needs or disabilities, inquiring about the park's accommodations and support to ensure a respectful and inclusive environment.
- Visiting the park in person to observe the community and, if possible, speak with current residents (while respecting their privacy) to gain a broader range of perspectives on life in Coach House Mobile Estates.
- If you are interested in bringing an RV for a long-term stay, directly inquiring about the park's policies on RVs, including site availability, hookups, size restrictions, and any specific rules that may apply. Given that it is primarily described as a senior mobile home park, RV accommodations may be limited or not available.
The stark contrast between the two available reviews highlights the importance of thorough investigation before making a decision about residing in Coach House Mobile Estates. While the positive review paints a picture of a pleasant and well-equipped senior community, the negative review raises serious concerns about the management's interpersonal skills and rule enforcement, which could significantly impact the living experience.
As a senior (55+) mobile home park, Coach House Mobile Estates likely offers a community tailored to the needs and preferences of older adults. The smaller size could foster a close-knit environment, and the presence of a pool and clubhouse provides opportunities for recreation and social interaction. The reported affordable space rent is also a significant factor for many seniors on a fixed income. The convenient location in Chico would offer easy access to shopping, healthcare, and other essential services.
However, the allegations of a "mean manager" who "picks on" a visitor with autism and epilepsy, coupled with rigid parking enforcement, are serious red flags that potential residents cannot afford to ignore. It suggests a potential lack of compassion and flexibility in the park's management, which could lead to stress and anxiety for residents and their families.
Without further information or additional reviews to provide a more comprehensive picture, it is difficult to definitively assess the overall quality of life at Coach House Mobile Estates. The park appears to have some attractive features, but the significant concerns raised about the management's behavior warrant careful consideration and thorough investigation by any prospective resident or long-term RVer.
In conclusion, Coach House Mobile Estates in Chico, CA, is presented as a smaller-sized senior (55+) mobile home park with a convenient location, affordable rent, friendly neighbors, and amenities like a pool and clubhouse. However, a concerning review highlights potential issues with a rigid and insensitive manager who has been accused of unfair treatment and a lack of understanding towards individuals with disabilities regarding parking. Potential residents, including seniors looking for mobile home living or those seeking "RV parks near me" with a senior focus for a longer stay, should carefully weigh these contrasting perspectives and conduct thorough due diligence to determine if this community aligns with their needs and expectations for a comfortable and respectful living environment.

Coach House Mobile Estates Reviews
Great senior mobile home park (ages 55+). The park is smaller sized (with the number of spaces/units in the park). Convenient location, affordable space rent, friendly neighbors, pool and clubhouse too!
Jan 25, 2022 · Natalie KorberWould give a 0 if possible. My friends let's my nephew park in her driveway, but the mean manager makes him move his car all the time. He always picks on my nephew and makes him feel anxious. We've told the manager about our nephew's autism and epilepsy, but he doesn't respect or even care.
Jul 31, 2020 · Javier GomezManager has his van parked at the exit. This has made people almost hit me while I am entering and they are trying to exit. I once was entering while the manager Ben was trying to exit. He wouldn't let me through, he made me go out in reverse into Lassen Ave which was DANGEROUS! This all happens for leaving his trailer and van parked where the exit is, while he is just drinking and smoking on his porch.
Jun 11, 2020 · Steve SmithManager has spoken rude and used foul language on my nephew after he had a seizure. He got right in his face behaving really mean. My nephew is the only one he picks on all the time in this mobile home park. I would give this manager a negative Infiniti if I could.
Jun 11, 2020 · Martin SmithI have two very good friends that live there, I don't, but it was very clean and the pool was sparkling and everyone we saw was very friendly and waved to us. Seems like a nice place to live!
