Coleman Country Condos Reviews
Very quiet, peaceful and close to the job. Loved staying here. Thank you George!
Nov 28, 2024 · Beth RileyWell, since I had the honors to write the first review,I stayed here at Coleman Country Condos for over 2 years and 6 months when I first started my job at VC Summers Nuclear station. I first stayed in a camper with my father since we traveled to work the outage. Given the opportunity to expand my skills at the plant, I was offered a full-time position and decided to stay in one of the condos. The camping spots are great for any camper size, plenty of space. I then moved into one of the mobile home condos where I lived comfortable this whole time. Now, when I first moved into Apt A, it had appeared the previous tenant smoked inside, so I was forced to bomb the smell for two days straight. The place needed a little cleaning up but nothing out of control. The condo is equipped with everything a normal house has or needs. Be prepared to bring essential items such as for cooking, cleaning, silverware, and bedding. Some areas needed some fixing up but it was no bother to me, I worked tougher jobs. Hot water is great and a radiator/heater is included to stay warm in the cold winter nights of South Carolina. For anyone planning on renting these condos, you may choose to activate services with Spectrum Fiber and have internet access, its just a matter of speaking to Spectrum and let them know that you want internet. I stayed in Apt. A, so there is already a internet hook up available. Since I chose to stay here for so long and recently went back to school to finish my degree, after searching for an internet provider for which felt like forever, I finally convinced Spectrum to hook up the fiber optic cables, I even crawled under the mobile home to get the wires connected since the Spectrum technician was too scared to crawl under, which I dont blame him but I was desperate for internet. The condos at first may seem difficult to find, I would recommend the owner to place a sign that can identify the establishment. Many times when I tried to have people over and they would almost always get lost and I can confirm this with Apple Maps, Google Maps, even if you send your direct location. Atleast Amazon, Fedex, and UPS know where the condos are now thanks to me; I ordered so much junk online that even the UPS guy said "Wow, you get a lot of packages". I had setup a mailbox for Apt A and yes you can receive mail there just ask the owner for the mailing address.Expect a quiet enviornment located out in mother nature where you can witness a variety of animals up close such as rabbits, deer, cows, coyote, and a variety of birds. At night you can enjoy a nice summer night by the firepit and watch the stars with your loved ones, being able to see all the stars reminds me of back home. The owner has a farm nearby and if you ever have any issues, he is only a call away to answer any questions and try to make your stay here as pleasant as possible.I believe you have the option to pay rent monthly or weekly, that is something you might want ask the landlord. I chose to pay weekly and from week 1 the price stayed the same at $150 with all utilities included for the 2 years and 6 months I lived here. Ofcourse, if you decide to pay for internet as well you will want to call Spectrum. My stay here at Coleman Condos has finally come to an end and my honest opinion for other's is that Yes I would definitely recommend staying here.I am offering anyone first weeks rent on me.All you have to do is find a red sticky note somewhere hidden in Apt A. The note contains a famous quote, my current phone number, and if you cant reach my cell then an email address is also provided which is and will always be my current/active way of communication. Let me know you found the note by telling me what the quote says and easy!I will communicate with the owner only to relay the message and I will arrange direct private payment to who ever finds the note via ANY means of transfer. Goodluck! This assures me that this 1 and possibly only review will be available to the public to read. Win-win for you and me.
