Coral Cay Plantation Homeowner Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Margate, Florida area, Coral Cay Plantation Homeowner, located at 6103 Colonial Dr, Margate, FL 33063, USA, is a mobile home park that warrants consideration. You can reach them at (954) 971-6320 or +1 954-971-6320 for inquiries. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the park based on information available, particularly the experiences shared by some of its residents.
It is important to note that the information available primarily consists of customer reviews, which present a concerning picture of the current state of Coral Cay Plantation Homeowner. Several key issues have been raised by residents that prospective individuals seeking RV parks in the vicinity should be aware of.
One significant concern highlighted in the reviews pertains to the upkeep and management of the property. A resident reported a long-standing issue with a vacant home on their property, which was allegedly slated for demolition years ago but remains in a state of disrepair with a caved-in roof and detached siding. This situation is not only an eyesore but also a potential safety hazard, particularly in the event of severe weather such as hurricanes. The resident expressed frustration over the lack of action despite the extended period and the potential for debris damage to neighboring properties.
Furthermore, the same review indicates a perceived decline in the quality of park management over time. The resident, who has lived in the community for eleven years, noted that while the initial experience was positive, more recent management seems ill-equipped to handle the responsibilities of running the park effectively. This is further supported by complaints regarding the frequent unavailability of communal amenities. The review mentions that one of the two advertised pools is often out of service, and the main clubhouse has been closed for an extended period, reportedly six months or longer, leading to its deterioration. The resident also disputes the park's claim of having two clubhouses and a fitness center, stating that only one pool and one clubhouse are actually functional.
Another concerning review echoes the sentiment of a decline in the community's quality after an initial positive experience. This resident, who has lived there for five years, reports issues with an apparent lack of age restrictions, leading to a diverse age range within the community, which they imply is not in line with the initial character of the park. Additionally, this review raises serious allegations regarding the presence of "tremendous dogs" perceived as dangerous and recounts a deeply disturbing interaction with a security guard at the gate, involving abusive language. The resident claims to have reported this incident to the manager without any positive change resulting.
The discrepancies between the park's purported amenities (two pools, two clubhouses, fitness center) and the residents' experiences (one functional pool and clubhouse) are significant. This suggests a potential misrepresentation of the facilities available to residents. For individuals considering Coral Cay Plantation Homeowner as one of their "RV parks near me" options, it is crucial to verify the current availability and condition of all advertised amenities.
The presence of children and younger individuals living in the community, as mentioned in one of the reviews, might be a factor for those specifically seeking a more age-restricted environment often associated with certain mobile home parks catering to retirees or a specific demographic. It is advisable to inquire about the community's age restrictions and demographics to ensure it aligns with your preferences.
The allegations of dangerous dogs and the reported incident with the security guard raise serious concerns about the safety and overall atmosphere of the community. Prospective residents should consider these accounts and perhaps attempt to gather more information about the park's policies regarding pets and security measures.
Given the nature of the feedback available, it is strongly recommended that anyone considering Coral Cay Plantation Homeowner as a potential "RV park near me" conduct a thorough on-site visit. This visit should include a detailed inspection of the grounds, any available amenities, and the general condition of the properties within the park. It would also be beneficial, if possible, to speak with current residents to gain a broader understanding of their experiences and perspectives beyond the limited information available in online reviews.
Prospective residents should also inquire specifically about the park's management practices, policies regarding property maintenance and upkeep, security protocols, and any rules or regulations pertaining to pets and the age of residents. Understanding the current lot rental fees and any potential for increases is also essential for making an informed decision.
In conclusion, while Coral Cay Plantation Homeowner is located in Margate, FL, and may appear as an option when searching for "RV parks near me," the available resident feedback raises significant concerns regarding the property's condition, management, and overall community environment. It is imperative for potential residents to approach this option with caution, conduct thorough due diligence, and seek current and comprehensive information before making any commitments. The discrepancies between advertised and actual amenities, coupled with the serious allegations made by residents, warrant a high degree of scrutiny.

Coral Cay Plantation Homeowner Reviews
I have had a place that has been vacant for 6 yrs, was suppose to be torn down almost 3 yrs now. The roof has caved in the siding is coming off and all kinds of animals living there. I still have to worry about a hurricane coming this way and how much damage I will get from debris from there. I’ve lived here for 11 yrs and it was great in the beginning but now they bring in managers that don’t have a clue how to run a park. Pools are down all the time and our one clubhouse has been closed for 6mos or longer. The whole inside is getting ruined. They say we have 2 pools and 2 clubhouses and fitness center we only have 1 pool and clubhouse. These pics were taking 2 yrs ago, it is worse now. There are a lot of other places just like this. Children living here and a lot of young people they don’t belong living here.

Nov 09, 2024 · Karla De la CruzWe live in Coral Cay since 2018 - 6 years, nice environment in all aspects. The facilities are great - 2 pools/gym/2 club houses/boat ramps, the park is well maintained, beautiful lakes and channels, perfect for a walk, near major hospital - same road, major supermarkets, restaurants and entertainment. We love living in here.
