Country Village Estates Introduce
Are you searching for housing solutions in the Oregon City, Oregon area, and perhaps considering options beyond traditional rentals, including exploring the category of "RV parks near me"? While Country Village Estates, located at 14630 S Village Ct, Oregon City, OR 97045, USA, is a mobile home park designed for long-term residency in manufactured homes, understanding its characteristics can provide a broader view of the housing landscape in the region. It's important to distinguish that mobile home parks typically involve residents owning their homes and leasing the land, which differs significantly from the short-term accommodations offered by most RV parks.
Based on the limited customer reviews available for Country Village Estates, a somewhat mixed picture emerges. One reviewer expresses significant concerns regarding the park's rules and management. This resident mentions that while the homes themselves are "fairly decent," there are numerous park rules that are perceived as being subject to change at the management's convenience. A key point of contention is the level of control exerted by the park over homeowners, despite them owning their residences. This suggests a potentially restrictive environment where homeowners may face limitations on what they can do with their property.
A specific and significant issue raised by this reviewer pertains to parking regulations. They report that vehicles parked on the street are subject to towing. Furthermore, they highlight a complete absence of guest parking ("ZERO !!!! guest parking"), which could pose considerable challenges for residents who wish to have visitors. The reviewer recounts a personal experience of receiving a tow tag on their car, which was parked in their own driveway, while other cars parked on the street on the same road did not receive similar citations. This inconsistency in enforcement raises questions about the fairness and clarity of the parking rules.
The same reviewer also expresses dissatisfaction with the park's management. They report attempting to contact the office during advertised office hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) at 9:45 a.m. but found no one present. A subsequent phone call with a left message allegedly went unanswered, leading to a negative assessment of the management's responsiveness and accessibility ("their management is crappy").
In contrast to this negative experience, another reviewer offers a brief but positive assessment, stating that their friend lives in Country Village Estates and that the park is "very well kept." This suggests that the park may have well-maintained grounds and a generally tidy appearance, which could be an appealing factor for some prospective residents. However, this positive comment does not address the concerns raised by the other reviewer regarding park rules and management.
Given these contrasting perspectives, it is challenging to form a definitive overall assessment of Country Village Estates. The positive comment about the park being "very well kept" indicates a potential strength in terms of aesthetics and maintenance. However, the detailed negative review raises serious concerns about the park's rules, particularly regarding parking and the perceived lack of guest parking, as well as the responsiveness and accessibility of the management. These are critical factors that potential residents would need to consider carefully.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," it is important to reiterate that Country Village Estates is a mobile home park and not designed for short-term RV stays. Individuals seeking temporary RV accommodations with typical RV park amenities such as hookups, dump stations, and recreational facilities for RV travelers would need to explore dedicated RV parks in the Oregon City area. Mobile home parks primarily cater to individuals and families who own manufactured homes and lease the land on a long-term basis.
For local users in Oregon City who might be exploring long-term and potentially more affordable housing options, Country Village Estates presents a complex picture. The "fairly decent" homes and the "very well kept" appearance of the park could be attractive. However, the potentially restrictive park rules, particularly concerning parking and guest access, along with the reported issues with management responsiveness, are significant drawbacks that need thorough consideration. The lack of guest parking, in particular, could be a major inconvenience for those who frequently have visitors.
To make an informed decision about Country Village Estates, local users are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence. Contacting the park management at (503) 656-6062 or +1 503-656-6062 is essential to inquire about current lot rental fees, park rules and regulations (especially those pertaining to parking, guest access, and homeowner rights), and the availability of any amenities or services offered within the park. It would also be beneficial to ask about the typical demographics of the residents and the overall community environment. Visiting the park in person to observe the grounds, the homes, and any communal facilities would provide valuable insights. If possible, speaking with current residents (beyond the limited reviews available online) could offer a more comprehensive understanding of the day-to-day living experience at Country Village Estates.
In conclusion, Country Village Estates in Oregon City offers potentially "fairly decent" homes within a park that at least one reviewer found to be "very well kept." However, significant concerns have been raised regarding restrictive and potentially inconsistently enforced park rules, particularly concerning parking and the complete lack of guest parking. Additionally, issues with management accessibility and responsiveness have been reported. Local users considering this mobile home park for long-term residency should carefully weigh these factors and conduct thorough independent investigation to determine if the community aligns with their lifestyle and expectations. It is crucial to obtain detailed information about the park's rules, regulations, fees, and management practices before making any decisions. Country Village Estates is not an RV park and should not be considered as such by those seeking short-term accommodations for recreational vehicles.

Country Village Estates Reviews
The homes are fairly decent but there are all kinds of park rules that are subject to change at their convenience and eventhough you own your home they can tell you what to do with it. They'll tow your car if you park on the street and they have ZERO !!!! guest parking so you better plan on not having anyone come to visit. I woke up to a tow tag on my car this morning that was parked in my driveway and there were four other cars parked in the street on the same road with no tow tag. I went up to the office to talk to them about it during office hours which was supposed to be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. it was 9:45 a.m. nobody was there I called and left a message nobody called me back their management is crappy.
