Clairmont Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local users exploring "RV parks near me" with an interest in potentially more permanent or long-term living arrangements, Clairmont Mobile Home Park, located at 13531 Clairmont Way, Oregon City, OR 97045, USA, appears to be a community undergoing positive changes under new management. While the platform category focuses on RV parks, mobile home parks often provide a stable residential environment that may appeal to a segment of users seeking a long-term place to call home. The available customer reviews offer insights into the park's current state and the impact of recent management changes.
One reviewer, who spends two months a year at Clairmont Mobile Home Park with their son, notes the presence of a "brand new manager." This reviewer observes that the new manager is "outside working on fallen trees from ice storm," indicating a hands-on approach to maintaining the property and addressing issues proactively. The reviewer also comments that "The park is older but most homes are kept up," suggesting a community where residents take pride in their properties, contributing to the overall appearance of the park.
Another, more detailed review provides a significant event that highlights the responsiveness and care of the new management. This resident recounts an incident where a tree, which past managers had allegedly failed to remove despite being identified as a risk to the power box, ultimately caused a power outage. The reviewer expresses gratitude for the actions of the "very capable, nice and professional manager" in handling the situation. Despite a 10-day power outage, the manager's efforts to mitigate the impact on the residents are acknowledged. The park owners initially promised to repay the electrician bill and provided temporary accommodation in a motel for a few days. Residents were also allowed to use the office during the day to stay warm. The reviewer specifically thanks the new manager, Katie, for making a "terrible situation, less so." This suggests a significant improvement in management responsiveness and a genuine concern for the well-being of the residents during a crisis.
The fact that a resident has lived in Clairmont Mobile Home Park for "almost 20yrs" and refers to it as "home" speaks volumes about the long-term stability and sense of community that the park has fostered over time. Their appreciation for the current management and owners showing "care and compassion, especially in stressful situations" underscores the positive impact of the new leadership.
However, the same long-term resident provides an edit to their review, noting that "the park owners never reimbursed us" for the electrician bill. This indicates a potential disconnect between the on-site management's efforts and the financial decisions of the park owners. While the manager is praised for her handling of the situation, the lack of reimbursement is a point of concern that potential residents should be aware of.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," it's possible that Clairmont Mobile Home Park also offers spaces for recreational vehicles, although this is not explicitly stated in the reviews. If RV spaces are available, the positive aspects of the new management's hands-on approach and care for residents could be appealing to both short-term and potentially long-term RVers seeking a community-oriented environment.
Based on the reviews, the environment of Clairmont Mobile Home Park is described as "older" but with "most homes kept up," suggesting a well-maintained community despite its age. The presence of trees, as indicated by the ice storm damage, suggests a potentially mature landscape. The quietness of the park is not explicitly mentioned, but the long-term residency implies a level of stability that often contributes to a peaceful environment.
Specific services and features of Clairmont Mobile Home Park are not detailed in the reviews beyond the mention of power infrastructure and the manager's responsiveness during an outage. Typically, mobile home parks offer essential utilities such as water, sewer, and electricity. The availability of amenities like laundry facilities, community rooms, or recreational areas is not mentioned in the provided text.
The proactive approach of the new manager, as evidenced by her work on fallen trees and her support during the power outage, could be considered a significant feature and a potential draw for new residents. The long-standing sense of community, as indicated by the 20-year resident, also suggests a stable and welcoming environment for those seeking long-term living.
There is no explicit promotional information in the reviews. However, the positive aspects highlighted, such as the hands-on and caring new manager and the established sense of community, could be considered implicit benefits for potential residents. The park's location in Oregon City offers proximity to local amenities and attractions in the area.
For local users considering Clairmont Mobile Home Park, the recent change in management appears to be a significant positive development. The new manager is described as proactive, helpful, and compassionate. The long-term residents seem to appreciate the sense of community that has developed over time. However, the issue with the lack of reimbursement from the park owners regarding the power outage is a point that potential residents may want to inquire about.
In conclusion, Clairmont Mobile Home Park in Oregon City appears to be an older but well-maintained community benefiting from a proactive and caring new manager. The long-term residency suggests a stable environment with a sense of community. While the positive aspects of the new management are noteworthy, potential residents should also be aware of the reported lack of financial support from the park owners in the power outage incident. Overall, Clairmont Mobile Home Park presents itself as a community in a potentially positive transition, warranting consideration for those seeking long-term living options in Oregon City.

Feb 25, 2021 · Carolyn BonangWe had a tree take out our power. A tree that past managers didn't remove when asked and informed it was too close to the power box. Well, it did. Thankfully, we have a very capable, nice and professional manager now. 10 days w/o power. Park owners promised to repay the electrician bill, they put us up in a motel for a few days and we were able to use the office during the day to stay warm. Thank you, Katie, you rock. You made a terrible situation, less so. We've lived here almost 20yrs. It is home. We appreciate, a lot, when management and owners show care and compassion, especially in stressful situations, whether of our making or yours. Sincerely, thank you.Edit to add, the park owners never reimbursed us.
Mar 31, 2025 · Joanne COld homes, some new one in the middle of the complex. Clean neighborhood. Lots of nice Children. the Neighborhood is quiet. No petty drama.no druggies wondering the lot. Speed bumps however are absolutely atrocious it feels like it's going to ruin your car. So go slow.
Nov 24, 2023 · V ReneThe manager is never in the office. Never answers the phone. And doesn't even send out our rent statements. Today is May 5th. Still don't know how much our rent is. It charges due to our water usage. This has been going on for over six months now. Try calling the office no answer. Leave a message. No call back. Tired of it!! Plus, the park looks like a pig style. No one does any mai9. Garbage, trash all over the street. Kids running amuck. Use to be a nice plVe.
May 05, 2023 · Michelle FemattI have lived in CMP since 2013 and just moved out in June 2021.....I enjoyed our time there. We had great neighbors and never had issues with stealing or vandalism. Most of the houses are kept up to park standards.....like any other parks....a few take advantage of their situation and let their weeds grow and fences fall......I loved walking to the stores and always felt safe.
