Leiby's Manufactured Home Community Introduce
When searching for "RV parks near me" in the Carlisle, Pennsylvania area, you might come across options that cater to various needs, from short-term camping to long-term residential living. Leiby's Manufactured Home Community, located at 7075 Carlisle Pike, Carlisle, PA 17015, USA, presents itself as a manufactured home community. While it might not strictly fall under the typical definition of a transient RV park catering to short stays, manufactured home communities can sometimes accommodate individuals seeking longer-term residency in their RVs, depending on their specific regulations and availability.
Leiby's Manufactured Home Community can be contacted at (717) 697-1321 or via mobile phone at +1 717-697-1321. This contact information is crucial for anyone interested in exploring the possibility of residing at the community, whether in a manufactured home or potentially a long-term RV arrangement, if permitted.
Understanding the environment and services offered by any potential long-term living location is paramount. Typically, manufactured home communities aim to provide a stable residential environment for their residents. This often includes basic infrastructure such as water hookups, sewer connections, and electrical services. The specifics, however, can vary significantly from one community to another. For those considering Leiby's as a potential option when searching for "RV parks near me" for an extended stay, it would be essential to directly inquire about the availability of RV lots, the terms of residency for RVs, and the specific amenities and services provided to residents, including potential access to common areas, waste management, and community maintenance.
Features of manufactured home communities often include a sense of community living, with residents potentially forming long-term relationships. The physical layout usually involves individual lots for homes, often with space for parking and small yards. However, the applicability of these features to RVs would depend on the community's policies regarding recreational vehicles. It is important to ascertain whether Leiby's Manufactured Home Community has designated spaces or infrastructure suitable for RVs intended for long-term living, and if so, what specific features and hookups are available.
When making a decision about long-term residency, especially in a location found under the broad search of "RV parks near me," it is always prudent to consider feedback from current or past residents. In the case of Leiby's Manufactured Home Community, two customer reviews available online offer contrasting perspectives that warrant careful consideration. One review mentions a situation where individuals not on a lease are reportedly living in the park with the management's knowledge, raising potential concerns about adherence to community rules and fairness to other residents. This could be a point of inquiry for prospective residents seeking clarity on community regulations and their enforcement.
The second review expresses a highly negative experience, describing the community as "hell on earth" with "zero consideration for noise, time of day, and most importantly you." The reviewer states their intention to leave as soon as possible. Such strong negative feedback should not be dismissed lightly. While individual experiences can vary, this review highlights potential issues with noise management and resident consideration, which are crucial aspects of quality of life in any residential setting, including long-term RV parks or manufactured home communities that might accommodate RVs.
Given these contrasting and, in one case, strongly negative reviews, any individual considering Leiby's Manufactured Home Community as a potential "RV park near me" for long-term living should conduct thorough due diligence. This should include directly contacting the management to inquire about their policies on RV residency, the availability of suitable lots and amenities, the terms of lease or residency agreements for RVs, and the community's rules and regulations, particularly those concerning noise and guest policies.
Furthermore, if possible, prospective residents might consider visiting the community to get a firsthand impression of the environment and the atmosphere. Observing the community's upkeep, the interactions between residents (if feasible), and the general ambiance can provide valuable insights that online information alone cannot offer. It might also be beneficial to try and connect with current residents (if privacy allows and opportunities arise) to gain a broader range of perspectives on living in the community.
It's important to remember that while Leiby's Manufactured Home Community is located in the vicinity of Carlisle, PA, and might appear in searches for "RV parks near me," its primary focus as a manufactured home community means that its suitability for long-term RV living will depend on its specific policies and infrastructure. The services and features typically associated with short-term RV parks, such as recreational facilities, organized activities, or flexible stay options, might not be the primary offerings here. Instead, the focus is likely on providing a more permanent residential setting.
Therefore, individuals searching for "RV parks near me" for a longer duration in the Carlisle area should approach Leiby's Manufactured Home Community with specific questions tailored to their needs as potential long-term RV residents. Understanding the costs involved, the lease terms, the utility arrangements, and the community's rules regarding RVs will be crucial in determining if this location aligns with their requirements and expectations. The provided customer reviews serve as a reminder of the importance of seeking diverse perspectives and conducting thorough research before committing to any long-term living arrangement.
In conclusion, Leiby's Manufactured Home Community at 7075 Carlisle Pike in Carlisle, PA, can be contacted at (717) 697-1321 for inquiries. While it operates as a manufactured home community, it might offer possibilities for long-term RV residency depending on its specific policies and available infrastructure. Potential residents should be aware of the mixed customer feedback available online and are strongly advised to conduct thorough personal inquiries and potentially visit the community to assess its suitability for their needs when searching for "RV parks near me" for extended stays in the Carlisle area.

Leiby's Manufactured Home Community Reviews
I know people that is living in that park with family and not on the lease and the park knows about it. Sad if this was anyone else they would get in trouble for it
Feb 14, 2025 · Brooklynn LandenThis trailer park made me never want to live in another trailer park ever again in my entire life if I have anything to do with it. They have zero consideration for noise, time of day, and most importantly you. It's hell on earth. I am getting out ASAP!
Dec 05, 2023 · diazFind somewhere else to live. Unless you like heavy machinery as your alarm clock that's SO loud it breaks sound barriers and vibrates through your entire house, then this place would be for you lol. They use empty lots for leaf collection.. Which is just flat out weird and cheap, Mr. Krabbs type vibe (probably because it's a corporate park owned by california). Also a bit disgusting considering homes are around it. That's what they lack though, consideration. They run this menace machines early in the morning and it will make you want to rip your hair out. Want to sleep in early? Nope. *WUUUUMMMMMMM* is all you hear now, vibrating your eardrums and walls.I'm saving you a big one here, trust me.
Nov 21, 2023 · jennita moralesParks new management is terrible. They will not help you with anything or follow MHPRA laws. They raise the lot rent yearly. So far 3 times in 3 years. New management do nothing but harass you. Claiming violation after violation. Fix a violation . Nope! instantly get a new one apparently.
Aug 24, 2021 · drawlingkingThey have new owners and are now West Shore Manufactured Home Community. The lot rent is high here for the tiny piece of land your home sits on. They have on street parking only and there is only enough space for 2 vehicles per home, that's if nobody else parks in your space. The new owners have gotten rid of most of the trouble tenants. The new company requires you to sign a 2 year lease minimum, so if you want to sell your home within your first 2 years there, oh well! They allow indoor cats and expect you to pay a monthly fee. In the lease you are only allowed small dogs, under 30#, and not certain breeds. Most tenants who have dogs do not follow these limitations nor do they pick up after their animals. I would suggest looking at other communities before considering moving here.
