Understanding the environment, services, and features of any long-term living location is crucial. Typically, manufactured home communities aim to provide a stable residential setting with essential utilities such as water, sewer, and electricity. However, the availability and suitability of these services for RVs can vary. If you are considering UMH Properties Inc as a "RV park near me" for an extended stay, it is recommended to inquire specifically about the availability of RV-suitable lots, the nature of the hookups provided, and any community amenities accessible to residents, such as waste disposal, common areas, and maintenance services.
Manufactured home communities often foster a sense of long-term community among residents, with established neighborhood dynamics. While this can be a significant advantage for those seeking a stable residential environment, its relevance to RV dwellers might depend on the community's integration of RV residents. Features typically include individual lots with parking and sometimes small yard spaces. For RV owners, it's important to determine if UMH Properties Inc offers designated RV spaces, the size and layout of these spaces, and any specific features tailored to recreational vehicles.
Customer feedback can provide valuable insights when evaluating potential long-term living options. In the case of UMH Properties Inc, two online reviews offer critical perspectives that should be carefully considered by anyone searching for "RV parks near me" for an extended stay. One review alleges "false accusations and egregious remarks" related to a custody order, with accusations of obstruction and unethical conduct potentially motivated by ethnicity. The reviewer urges others with similar concerns to report them to relevant Pennsylvania authorities, including the PA Fair Housing Hotline, the PA Human Relations Commission, or the PA Office of the Attorney General, emphasizing the need for accountability regarding safe living and ethical conduct.
The second review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the management, specifically naming a manager, Lindsay, and describing her as condescending with poor customer service skills. The reviewer states that their daughter was treated horribly and strongly recommends against this company. Such negative feedback regarding management and tenant relations is a serious consideration for anyone contemplating long-term residency, as it can significantly impact the living experience.
Given these serious allegations and negative experiences reported in the reviews, individuals considering UMH Properties Inc as a potential "RV park near me" for long-term living must exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence. This should include direct and detailed conversations with the management regarding the issues raised in the reviews, as well as the community's policies on fair housing, tenant rights, and conflict resolution. It is crucial to understand how the community addresses concerns of discrimination, ensures ethical conduct, and fosters positive tenant relations.
Prospective residents should also inquire about the community's rules and regulations, lease terms for RV residents (if applicable), utility costs and billing procedures, and any other fees associated with long-term residency. Understanding the community's policies on guests, noise levels, maintenance responsibilities, and any community-specific guidelines will contribute to a well-informed decision.
Visiting the property in person, if possible, can offer a valuable opportunity to assess the environment and observe the community firsthand. While direct interaction with current residents might be limited due to privacy, observing the overall upkeep of the community, the layout of the lots, and the general atmosphere can provide additional insights beyond online information. Any interactions with the management during a visit can also offer a sense of their professionalism and approach to tenant relations.
It is important to reiterate that UMH Properties Inc is primarily a manufactured home community, and its services and features are likely geared towards this type of residency. While they may accommodate long-term RV residents, the experience and amenities might differ from those found in dedicated RV parks that cater specifically to recreational vehicles. Therefore, clearly articulating your needs and expectations as a long-term RV resident when contacting UMH Properties Inc is essential.
In conclusion, UMH Properties Inc, located at 100 Oriole Dr in Carlisle, PA, can be reached at (717) 249-2751 for inquiries. Individuals searching for "RV parks near me" for long-term living in the Carlisle area should be aware of the serious allegations and negative feedback present in online reviews. Thorough investigation, direct communication with management regarding these concerns and the community's policies, and a potential site visit are strongly recommended to ensure that this community meets your needs and expectations for a positive and secure long-term living experience.

Made false accusations and egregious remarks in obstructing court order custody to limit access after untrue claims from a false witness that try to steer and blockbust based ethnicity.. if anyone issues or concerns please feel to report them by submitting a complaint to PA FAIR HOUSING HOTLINE, PA HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION, or PA OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL. Only way for accountability or justice and consequences be enforced on unethical, unprofessional or even neglectful duties of safe living or conduct.

Aug 03, 2023 · CharleneThere lucky I can't pick a zero. They will literally take u for everything u have. They have no soul. O u didn't mow this week we'll do it that will just cost u 85 bucks. O u didn't shovel another 85. Good luck having guests over too cause if they come over too much you'll get a letter and they'll tow you're friends car. The grounds keeper is a cranky old man that will literally get u in trouble for anything. If they don't like u they will bully u till they either evict u or u leave. Good luck seeing that security deposit too. A hole will cost u 500 bucks easy no matter the size. U will recover certified letter for anything. U give them a 30 days notice they'll find a way to get rid of u sooner and won't let u come for ur stuff then charge u if u leave it there. This place is probably the worst place u could choose to live.
