Williams Grove Mobile Home Park Introduce
For individuals and families exploring long-term residential options within the category of "rv parks near me" in the Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania area, Williams Grove Mobile Home Park, located at 1550 Williams Grove Rd, presents a residential community with both positive environmental aspects and a point of concern regarding initial customer service interactions. Mechanicsburg is a borough in Cumberland County, known for its proximity to Harrisburg and its blend of suburban and rural characteristics. Potential residents are encouraged to contact the provided phone number, (717) 791-1201 or the mobile number +1 717-791-1201, to gather comprehensive information about the environment, services, features, and any current policies.
Environment: Beautiful and Well-Maintained with Natural Amenities
According to a positive customer review, Williams Grove Mobile Home Park is a "beautiful park" where the residents take pride in maintaining their individual areas in a "very clean and neat" condition. This suggests a community that values its appearance and fosters a sense of order and tidiness throughout the park. Such an environment can contribute significantly to the quality of life for long-term residents, creating a more pleasant and welcoming neighborhood.
The review also highlights the presence of a "small play area for children," indicating that the park caters to families with young children by providing a dedicated space for recreation and play. This amenity can be a significant draw for families seeking a community where their children can socialize and engage in outdoor activities within the safety of their residential area. Furthermore, the mention of a "stream thru the park" suggests a natural and potentially scenic element within the community. A stream can enhance the aesthetic appeal of the park, provide a tranquil ambiance, and possibly attract local wildlife, adding to the overall natural environment.
The location on Williams Grove Road in Mechanicsburg places the park within a region known for its blend of residential and commercial areas, with access to local amenities and transportation routes. The specific environment immediately surrounding the park would need to be assessed through direct inquiry or a visit to understand factors such as noise levels, proximity to neighboring properties, and the overall atmosphere of the area.
Services and Amenities: Information Gathering is Key
While one review provides insights into the aesthetic and family-friendly aspects of Williams Grove Mobile Home Park, detailed information regarding the full range of services and amenities is not available in the provided text. For those considering this as a long-term residential option within the "rv parks near me" category, it is crucial to inquire about the following:
- Lot Details and Fees: What is the size of the individual lots? Are they suitable for different sizes of mobile homes or RVs intended for long-term residency? What utilities are available at each lot (e.g., water, sewer, electricity)? What is the monthly lot rental fee? Are there any additional charges for utilities, maintenance, or other services? What are the lease terms and conditions for long-term residents? Are there specific requirements or restrictions for mobile homes or RVs in terms of age or condition?
- Park Amenities: Beyond the play area, are there other communal facilities available for residents? This could include laundry facilities, recreational areas (e.g., clubhouse, sports courts), storage options, or community spaces. Understanding the availability and condition of these amenities is important for long-term living.
- Maintenance and Management: Who is responsible for the maintenance of the park's common areas? What is the process for residents to report maintenance issues within their own lots or in communal spaces? Understanding the level of maintenance provided and the responsiveness of the management is crucial for a comfortable living experience.
- Rules and Regulations: What are the rules and regulations of Williams Grove Mobile Home Park? These guidelines govern the community and are important for determining if the lifestyle and expectations of the park align with those of potential residents.
- Security and Safety: What security measures are in place within the park to ensure the safety and well-being of residents? Are there any on-site staff or security personnel?
The negative review concerning "horrible customer service" during the initial phone inquiry is a point that potential residents should be aware of. The reviewer specifically mentions being asked for their address when simply inquiring about RV space availability, raising privacy concerns. When contacting the park, it may be prudent to be cautious about providing personal information prematurely and to focus on gathering information about availability and services first.
Features: A Potentially Pleasant Residential Community with a Customer Service Caveat
Based on the positive review, key features of Williams Grove Mobile Home Park appear to include its well-maintained environment, the cleanliness upheld by its residents, the presence of a children's play area, and the natural amenity of a stream running through the park. These aspects suggest a potentially pleasant and family-friendly residential community.
However, the negative review regarding the initial phone inquiry about RV space availability raises a flag concerning customer service practices. While this experience might not reflect the ongoing management of residents within the park, it is a factor that potential residents, particularly those initially contacting the park for information, should be mindful of. It underscores the importance of clear and direct communication and being aware of what information is being requested during the initial stages of inquiry.
The combination of a seemingly attractive physical environment with a potential customer service issue highlights the need for prospective residents to conduct their own thorough investigation. Visiting the park, if possible, and speaking with current residents (in addition to park management) could provide a more balanced understanding of the community's features and overall living experience.

Williams Grove Mobile Home Park Reviews
Williams Grove Mobile Home Park is a beautiful park. The resident's keep their area very clean and neat. There is a small play area for children and a stream thru the park too. I would not hesitate to set up my own residence here...
Jul 20, 2021 · Peter LashinskyHorrible customer service . Beware that the man answering your initial inquiry phone call will ask for your address. My question is - why do they need your address when the initial phone call is just to find out whether they have an available RV space ? It’s other yes they have availability or NO - they are fully. Booked. Give them a P.O. BOX and not your address . That’s my advice .
Oct 18, 2022 · Lina GaynorIt's not hard to rate this place.. I had the great pleasure to be able to live here for about 3 years. The peaceful, majestic Yellow Breaches Creek gently flows on the east side of this beautiful mobile park( perfect for tubing, fishing) , and another spring fed creek flows through the center, dividing it into two sides. This is beautiful, however be prepared because it floods nearly every year. The serenity in the mornings here are simply spell bounding.William Grove Speedway is almost right next door (if that's your thing ).But if it's not than be prepared for very loud weekends as the noise of the Speedway seems to break through any said silence. The Granger park is within walking distance and houses a flea market every Sunday (weather permitting). The park is home to many wonderful, kindhearted people, with children playing and people grilling.Cats!Cats! Cats! Cats! Cats and more Cats! Everywhere! Cats! The good side of that is there are no rodents. The bad. ..well google that.Overall I gave it 4 stars because I've met the most amazing people that took me in and made me "part of the family ".In fact they are my bff's! LolMy wife and I come to visit yearly from our home in CA
