Countryside Village Introduce
For local users searching for housing options under the category "RV parks near me," it's important to consider a variety of residential communities, including mobile home parks. Countryside Village, situated at 4600 W Britton Rd, Perry, MI 48872, USA, is one such community in the Perry area. While our platform primarily focuses on RV parks catering to temporary stays, understanding the landscape of local residential options can be valuable for individuals seeking longer-term housing solutions or those interested in the broader housing market.
Countryside Village is a mobile home park that offers a residential setting in the town of Perry, Michigan. Mobile home parks typically provide land for residents to place their manufactured homes, along with essential infrastructure and community amenities. These communities often appeal to individuals and families looking for a more স্থায়ী living arrangement than what is typically offered by RV parks. However, it is crucial to objectively assess the environment, services, and features of Countryside Village, particularly in light of recent customer feedback, to determine if it meets your needs and expectations.
Understanding the Environment: The provided information does not offer specific details about the physical environment of Countryside Village, such as the layout of the park, the presence of landscaping, recreational areas, or the overall upkeep of the grounds. Typically, mobile home parks aim to create a community feel with shared roadways and individual lots for each home. Factors such as the proximity to local amenities in Perry, the surrounding natural environment, and the general appearance and maintenance of the park can contribute to the overall living experience. Given the limited positive descriptions in the reviews, potential residents should consider visiting the location to gain a firsthand impression of the environment.
Services and Features: Information regarding the specific services and features offered at Countryside Village is somewhat limited within the provided reviews. Generally, mobile home parks provide essential utilities such as water, sewer, and electrical hookups for each lot. Other potential services and features that might be available at Countryside Village could include:
- Trash and waste management services.
- Road maintenance within the park.
- Potentially, common areas or a community building for resident use.
- Mail delivery services to individual lots or a central location.
However, the customer reviews raise significant concerns about the quality and reliability of some essential services, most notably mentioning "non drinkable water." This is a critical issue that potential residents would need to investigate thoroughly. Additionally, feedback regarding office management suggests potential challenges in accessing services and resolving issues.
Customer Feedback and Concerns: The customer reviews provide direct insights into the experiences of individuals interacting with Countryside Village. Several key concerns emerge from this feedback:
- Water Quality: The most serious concern is the report of "non drinkable water." This indicates a potentially significant issue with the park's water supply that would directly impact the health and well-being of residents.
- Office Management: Multiple reviews express dissatisfaction with the office management. Complaints include the new management being frequently absent or unresponsive ("never in the office and don’t answer the phone"), rudeness, and the dissemination of false information regarding appointments.
- Lease Issues: One reviewer reported difficulty in getting their name removed from a lease after multiple attempts over a week, suggesting potential inefficiencies or lack of responsiveness in administrative processes.
- Lack of Improvement Despite Rent Increases: A long-term resident noted that while rent increases annually, the only visible improvement has been a new sign, implying a lack of reinvestment in the community's infrastructure or amenities.
- Nostalgia for Previous Management: The sentiment "I miss Micah and Billy. Do better ladies" suggests a decline in the quality of management and service since the change in personnel.
- Office Hours and Staff Presence: One review noted staff being present beyond official hours ("Everyone stays until 5pm" despite closing at 4:30) but also mentioned staff "sat in the office all day" prior to lunchtime, offering conflicting perspectives on staff activity but consistently highlighting issues with responsiveness and service quality under the new management.
These consistent negative reviews regarding critical aspects of living in a mobile home park, such as water quality and management responsiveness, should be carefully considered by any potential residents.
Implications for RV Users: For users searching within the "RV parks near me" category, the information available about Countryside Village strongly suggests that it may not be a suitable option for short-term RV stays. The issues reported by residents indicate potential instability and a lack of focus on resident well-being, which could translate to a negative experience for temporary visitors. Furthermore, mobile home parks primarily cater to long-term residents and may not have the infrastructure or services typically expected by RV travelers.
Contacting Countryside Village: Despite the overwhelmingly negative feedback in the reviews, individuals considering long-term mobile home living in the Perry area may still want to contact Countryside Village directly at (517) 625-3111 or +1 517-625-3111. This would provide an opportunity to inquire about the current status of the reported issues, such as the water quality and management practices. It is essential to ask pointed questions and seek verifiable information before making any decisions. Visiting the park and, if possible, speaking with current residents (outside of the official channels) could also provide valuable insights.
Promotional Information: The provided information does not include any promotional details for Countryside Village. Given the serious concerns raised in the customer reviews, it is unlikely that the park is actively promoting itself. Any potential promotions or special offers would need to be specifically inquired about during direct contact with the management.
In Conclusion: Countryside Village is a mobile home park located in Perry, Michigan. While listed in response to a search for "RV parks near me," it is primarily a residential community for manufactured homes. Recent customer reviews paint a concerning picture regarding essential services, particularly water quality, and the responsiveness and professionalism of the current office management. Potential residents, whether for long-term mobile home living or possible temporary RV stays (though highly discouraged based on the information), are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution, thoroughly investigate the current conditions by contacting the park directly, and consider the serious concerns raised by current residents before making any commitments. The negative feedback suggests a potentially challenging living environment that warrants careful scrutiny.

Countryside Village Reviews
Non drinkable water. Rude irresponsible office management.Ever since switching management, the two new women are never in the office and don’t answer the phone. One of the women are extremely rude and gives out false information about appointments. She supposedly set up, But the day of the appointment will tell you she has no idea what you’re talking about.Called three times over the past week to get my name removed from my lease. So far no luck.I miss Micah and Billy. Do better ladies.
Feb 10, 2025 · Aeris sextonWe moved in September 2023.Office staff and maintenance staff sat in the office all day,but lunchtime. The closes at 4:30,but Everyone stays until 5pm.Rent go up every year, but the only thing new is a sign.
Mar 26, 2025 · RichardUpdate 10/2024: My mom found a place, no thanks to these guys. Notice how they reached out to other bad reviews but not this one.The new manager has a habit of screwing people over on purpose. My mom is in a pretty desperate situation to find something and they told her they had one available but she couldn't show it until today (Tuesday, 6/25). She gets all the way over there and they tell her that they rented it out yesterday, and basically gave her a “tough shit” attitude.I have moved out of here last year but my experience wasn't the greatest either with the office staff or maintenance. (Took until halfway through my lease to get a working dishwasher.)Be prepared that this corporation is willing and ready to screw you over at any moment for money.
Oct 31, 2024 · Andrew HamlinThe only reason I'm giving it a two out of five is because my trailer, which was a 2019 started sinking six months after I moved in, and that caused the trim inside to start falling off the walls. The newer trailers are cheaply built. They don't give the concrete enough time to settle before putting a new trailer on the lot. And they will surprise you by raising your rent every month. Mine went from $815 to $1400 in four years. Watch your back with these guys.Upside, they have a pool and playground.
Jun 01, 2024 · Amber BradshawWe've lived here for four years now. I do like living here. It's quiet and they're gradually tearing down all the dumpy looking trailers as people move out of them. My grandkids love to visit, especially in the summer when they can go swimming. They love the playground. The only complaint I have is that rent freaking goes up every year. When we first moved in in 2019, our rent was in the $700s (I don't remember exactly). Well in January (2024) it's going to be almost $900. And our income certainly hasn't been going up.And the people here are nice, except for one Karen who knocked on my door to gripe about one of my grandkids being "too little to be outside with these other kids". Sorry, lady, I'm a Gen-X. You're not going to convince me kids playing outside is a bad thing. Ever.
