Creekside Introduce
Creekside, located at 127 Brookview Dr, Reidsville, NC 27320, USA, is a manufactured home community primarily offering lots for manufactured homes. While it operates as a permanent residential community rather than a transient camping ground, it may appear in searches for "RV Parks Near Me" for individuals seeking long-term or semi-permanent living solutions in a recreational vehicle, such as a park model RV, within a structured community setting.
Creekside is situated in Reidsville, North Carolina, a city that offers a blend of small-town atmosphere with access to amenities. Promotional information for Creekside highlights a "dramatic country setting" with "nature's bounty," suggesting a location surrounded by natural elements like "ravines and rolling meadows" and "wooded home sites." This aims to provide a pleasant and scenic backdrop for residents.
The community is designed with individual lots for manufactured homes, aiming to foster a neighborhood feel. Public descriptions mention "two playgrounds" for children, indicating a family-friendly environment. The park aims to provide a "quiet and professional well-maintained park surrounding by beautiful trees and nature," suggesting an effort to create a serene living space. The community's location in Reidsville provides residents with proximity to various local attractions, including Lake Reidsville Park for outdoor activities, the American Tobacco Company Manufacturing Plant for history and culture, and the Chinqua-Penn Walking Trail for scenic views and birdwatching. It also offers convenient access to shopping, dining, entertainment, and medical facilities, with Greensboro being approximately 25 minutes away.
However, recent customer reviews paint a challenging picture regarding the living conditions and management responsiveness within the park. One reviewer describes a "mold situation" in their home that persisted for "months" and alleges that management was "unconsiderate" and unhelpful, even attempting to evict them after they reported the issue. The reviewer claims they were made to clean the mold themselves and that it was dismissed as "dirt" despite being professionally tested as mold. Another reviewer points to "bugs eating through their walls" and "piles of ants coming in her home," along with "air conditioning issues" affecting many residents. These accounts suggest that while the natural setting is intended to be appealing, the actual living environment for some residents has been severely compromised by maintenance issues.
As a manufactured home community, Creekside offers fundamental services and features necessary for residential living. These typically include:
- Manufactured Home Lots with Utilities: The park provides individual lots for residents to place their manufactured homes. These lots are equipped with essential utility hookups, including water, electricity (central heating and cooling are noted for some homes), and presumably sewer connections.
- Community Amenities: Beyond individual lots, Creekside promotes community amenities such as "two playgrounds" for children and "landscaping" services for common areas. An "On-Site Office" is also mentioned, indicating a physical presence for management.
- Affordable Homeownership: Promotional material emphasizes the "affordability and flexibility" of manufactured homes within the community, aiming to make "homeownership achievable for many families."
- Management and Maintenance: The park has a management team responsible for community operations and maintenance. However, as noted in the reviews, there are significant concerns about the responsiveness and effectiveness of this management, particularly regarding maintenance issues like mold, pest infestations, and HVAC problems. One reviewer states, "They drag their feet when it comes to fixing issues here," and "have a new manager and have no idea who to get in contact with."
- Proximity to Local Conveniences: The park's location offers residents convenience to local services, including banks, shops, restaurants, downtown Reidsville, a hospital, a Super Walmart, Dollar General, and Lowes, all within a short driving distance. Major cities like Danville, Greensboro, Durham, Raleigh, and Charlotte are also within reasonable driving times.
For those searching "RV Parks Near Me" with the intention of a long-term RV stay, it's crucial to understand that Creekside is configured for manufactured homes, not transient RV camping. While some mobile home parks may accommodate long-term park model RVs, it is not their primary business model. Any RV owner interested in Creekside would need to directly contact the park management (using the provided phone numbers: (336) 349-9161 or +1 336-349-9161) to inquire if they accept long-term RVs, what specific lot sizes and utility hookups are available for RVs, and what the applicable lease terms and park rules would be. It's important to ascertain if the park's infrastructure, such as electrical amperage and sewer connections, is suitable for a larger, permanently-situated RV.
The promotional message for Creekside emphasizes its potential as a "welcoming and comfortable place to call home" for "families of all ages," highlighting the benefits of "affordable and flexible" manufactured home ownership within a "friendly neighborhood." This positions Creekside as a solution for those seeking a stable, community-focused, and budget-conscious residential option. The presence of playgrounds and the focus on family-friendly living are key promotional points.
For local users who might encounter "Creekside" in a search for "RV Parks Near Me" and are looking for a long-term residential solution rather than a short-term recreational stay, the park's appeal would be based on the prospect of a fixed location, access to community features (like playgrounds if applicable to RV residents), and the general affordability of manufactured home park living compared to traditional housing markets. The convenient access to Reidsville's amenities and nearby larger cities is also a significant draw.
However, it is vital to balance the promotional claims with the candid feedback from current and prospective residents. The severe allegations of unaddressed mold issues, pest infestations, unresponsive management, and attempts to evict residents who voice concerns are serious. Such reviews can significantly impact the park's reputation and potential residents' confidence. The phrase "recommend NOBODY move here!!!" from a resident grappling with multiple issues, and the claim of being told to "stay away from this company," are strong deterrents that potential residents should take into careful consideration.
Prospective residents, whether for manufactured homes or potential long-term RV placement, should exercise due diligence by directly contacting the park, asking specific questions about maintenance protocols, tenant rights, and recent improvements. It would also be highly advisable to visit the park, observe the general condition of common areas and available lots, and potentially speak with current residents (if appropriate and respectful) to gain a comprehensive understanding of the living experience at Creekside Manufactured Home Community.

Jan 30, 2025 · Chastity ServicesIf I could give “0” stars I would!!! I recommend NOBODY move here!! They are inconsiderate and only care about their money and business!!! They drag their feet when it comes to fixing issues here but you better not ever speak up on it because their going to try their best to get you out!! Ever since I spoke up on this mold situation they’ve been hateful and trying to get me out!! I hit a rough patch and got laid off my job, got behind basically 2 months now, they tried to take me to court, went in the court room lying and the eviction ended up getting dismissed now I have started back working and I told them I was going to pay my rent up current on the 4th when I got paid, one of the landlords told me “okay that’s fine” then just the other day I come home with a note on my door saying I have 7 days to vacate because their choosing not to continue doing business with me!! Meanwhile y'all took months to move me and my 3 year old son out of a molded house!!! Y’all drag y’alls feet when people have anything that needs to be fixed in their homes!! I’m allergic to mold and have documents to prove it and my son has severe allergies and y'all did not care, y’all even made me clean the mold up myself and said y’all don’t clean mold(it still came back even after I cleaned it, have proof of that as well!) and then y’all tried to tell me it was dirt even after I got it tested and it came back as mold!! I have proof of all of this!! Y'all still did not care, y’all were more worried about your image and why I made a Facebook post about the situation. Nobody asked were we okay, nobody cared that I had to replace all my sons clothes!! Y’all took y’all’s time getting us out of this situation(MONTHS) but when it comes to y’all’s money now it’s I have to be out in 7 days. After y’all just told me it was okay for me to pay it up on the 4th. Y’all are wrong but God has the last say! I’m not the first person they have done like this, my neighbors who lived across from me recently moved out because they had bugs eating through their walls got so bad that one of them broke out real bad and had to go to the hospital, my other neighbor who lives across from me complains about piles of ants coming in her home, so many people have had air conditioning issues here! If it wasn’t so hard to find somewhere else to live I would have been stopped dealing with them!! Even one of the landlords who used to work here(she quit) she told me how they are, money hungry and don’t care about nothing else but that! Their own maintenance said the same thing but of course he’s trying to keep his job so won’t admit it but I have so many recordings and videos to prove everything I say is true! It’s just sad how they do people! I hate to even have to come on here and say all this but I hope nobody else has to go through what I have been through here! Seems like they would have been more understanding of my situation in particular based off everything I’ve been through over here! But instead their treating me like it’s my fault we had mold, like it’s my fault they took their time getting us out the situation, like it’s my fault for speaking up. But my son and my health WAS AND IS more important than y’all’s image!!! AND y'all will reap what you sow!
Aug 31, 2024 · Irianna BelcherPlease understand that they plan to keep your deposit even if you don’t move in. This is NOT discussed however they still expect you to know this. There wasn’t a contract signed that stated this. Management is VERY rude, unprofessional and disrespectful upon requesting funds to be refunded. Save your money and don’t move here!
Mar 04, 2024 · Lakevia DraperI agree with the other tenant my lot rent went up to they been stopped gutting grass like 2 months ago and my sweet neighbor has cut mine twice and thats not her job but i was greatful it looked terrible. I was once proud of this neighborhood and now i have no idea of what is going on or where tenants lot rent is going cause it sure aint toward lawn maintenance or trash.
Sep 03, 2020 · Sherrie DavisLot rent went up only for them to mow less. Starting to look trashy. Dumpsters pile up quickly only able to dump trash once a week. Management is extremely RUDE, not professional at all.
