Crossroads RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Iola, Texas area, Crossroads RV Park, located at 20030 FM 39, Iola, TX 77861, USA, presents a mixed picture based on recent customer reviews. While one reviewer found it to be a great experience with a laid-back atmosphere and reasonable prices, others have raised significant concerns about the facilities, cleanliness, and management responsiveness. This introduction aims to provide a balanced overview of Crossroads RV Park based on the available feedback to help local users make an informed decision.
The environment of Crossroads RV Park appears to be a point of contention among reviewers. One long-term resident of six months described it as having a "very laid back atmosphere" where "everyone keeps to themselves for the most part." This suggests a potentially quiet and private setting. The fact that they could fit a 42ft fifth wheel along with two trucks on their concrete pad indicates that the sites can be spacious. The reviewer also mentioned the presence of sugar ants as the only drawback they experienced, noting that ant poison helped manage the issue. However, another reviewer paints a starkly different picture, describing some sites as "really trashy cluttered" and criticizing the management for not enforcing upkeep. This suggests that the environmental quality might vary across different sites within the park. The filling of ditches after months of being present indicates potential past neglect of the grounds. Overall, the environment seems to offer spacious sites and a laid-back vibe for some, but others have noted issues with cleanliness and the upkeep of individual lots.
The services and facilities at Crossroads RV Park have also received mixed reviews. One positive aspect mentioned is the availability of "washers, dryers, and bathrooms on site," as well as "storage buildings." These are essential amenities for RV living, particularly for longer stays. The reviewer who stayed for six months found these facilities adequate for their needs. However, another reviewer strongly cautioned against using the laundry facilities, describing the washers and dryers as "horrible, old, unfinished and dirty," and even older than themselves. They also reported the laundry room as "always dirty." Furthermore, this reviewer claimed that there is "no customer service whatsoever" and that the owner or management is "never around" to address issues. This lack of accessible management is a significant concern. The discrepancy in the reviews regarding the quality and cleanliness of the facilities highlights a potential inconsistency or a decline in standards over time.
The features of Crossroads RV Park mentioned by reviewers include concrete pads at the sites, which is a positive for stability and cleanliness of individual parking areas. The availability of on-site laundry facilities and storage buildings adds convenience for residents. The "very reasonably priced" aspect, mentioned by the long-term resident, could be a significant draw for budget-conscious travelers or those seeking affordable long-term RV living. The laid-back atmosphere might appeal to those who prefer a more informal and private setting. However, the serious concerns raised by another reviewer about the "filthy unfinished" state of facilities, including "mold on shower curtains" and "washers falling apart," along with the lack of customer service and unattended management, are significant drawbacks that potential guests must consider. The issue with sugar ants, while manageable according to one reviewer, is still a factor to be aware of. The conflicting reports make it difficult to definitively assess the overall features and their quality.
The only promotional aspect explicitly mentioned in the reviews is the "price," which one reviewer noted as the only good thing about the park. This suggests that Crossroads RV Park might be positioned as a budget-friendly option within the "RV parks near me" category in the Iola, TX area. However, this affordability appears to come with potential compromises in terms of facility quality, cleanliness, and management responsiveness, according to other reviews. There is no mention of any specific discounts, special offers, or unique selling points beyond the price. Potential users will need to weigh the cost savings against the reported deficiencies in amenities and service.
In conclusion, Crossroads RV Park in Iola, TX, presents a complex picture for those searching for "RV parks near me." While it offers potentially spacious concrete pads, on-site laundry and storage, and a reportedly laid-back atmosphere at a reasonable price, significant concerns have been raised about the age, cleanliness, and functionality of the facilities, as well as the lack of accessible and responsive management. The stark contrast between the positive experience of a long-term resident and the highly negative feedback from another suggests a potential inconsistency in the park's upkeep and service quality. Prospective guests should carefully consider these conflicting reports. The affordability might be attractive, but it is crucial to be aware of the potential trade-offs. Direct contact with the park management to inquire about the current condition of facilities and management practices is strongly recommended before making a decision. Visiting the park in person, if possible, could also provide valuable insight into the current environment and the state of the amenities.

Crossroads RV Park Reviews
If I could give it a zero I would But the only thing good about it is the price. I believe these other reviews are fake. Except for the one about the ants and the owner never responds That was a true review. The facilities are horrible, old, unfinished and dirty. Please don't use the washers or dryers. They are older than me, that's pretty old. Laundry room is Always dirty. don't expect any customer service what so ever. There is no one to reach for issues as owner or management is never around also some really trashy cluttered sites that they don't make people keep there areas like they should. At least they finally filled those ditches after after monthsPicture's will follow in another reviewFilthy unfinished and mold on shower curtains and washers falling apart
Oct 17, 2023 · Kali JoyMy family and I stayed here for about six months. We had a great time as far as rv parks go. It was a very laid back atmosphere. Everyone keeps to themselves for the most part, they have washers, dryers, and bathrooms on site. They also have storage buildings on site as well. Everything is very reasonably priced. We were able to fit our 42ft fifth wheel along with 2 trucks on our our concrete pad. The only drawback were the sugar ants. We put down ant poision around our spot and that helped a lot. I would reccomend staying here.
Jan 22, 2025 · Gabriel TemplesWe stayed here several months for work and would absolutely stay again. They have a laundromat and on-site bathrooms which were always kept up and in good working order.Management was not on site but always friendly and prompt when we needed anything. Great people, great atmosphere, and overall a clean, family friendly park. 5/5 stars.
Oct 14, 2023 · Jarrett SmithAnts everywhere , owner rarely answers the phone and never keeps track on when you pay. Would not recommend, our coworkers left after 4 days of being there because there was ants and owner told them and also us that no one ever complained. Also barely have service out there and no wifi and someone cut our extension cord and i told the owner and they never got back with me about it.
Mar 01, 2023 · StarlyteQuiet Rv Park, great neighbors and the owners are always accommodating. They bought the park last year and have really turned it around.Highly recommend this park . Would give more than 5 stars if I could .
