Cypress Creek RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Sikeston, Missouri area, Cypress Creek RV Park, located at 1254 US-62, Sikeston, MO 63801, USA, presents itself as a conveniently located and reasonably priced option, particularly for those traveling through the region. Based on recent customer reviews, the park offers commendable customer service and adequate facilities for a comfortable stopover, especially for larger RVs.
The environment of Cypress Creek RV Park has both positive and potentially less desirable aspects, according to the reviews. On the positive side, the park is described as "adequate" overall, suggesting that it meets basic needs and provides a functional camping space. One reviewer specifically mentioned the availability of "pull through site," which is a significant advantage for owners of larger RVs, such as the 40ft Class A diesel pusher with a towed jeep mentioned in the review. These sites allow for easier maneuvering and setup without the need to back in. The park is also noted to be "clean," which is a crucial factor for a pleasant camping experience.
However, the environment is also influenced by its proximity to industrial activity. One reviewer pointed out that the park is "across the street from a steel plant," which results in "plenty of noise from that during the day." This noise is reported to subside around 3 PM, after which the primary noise source becomes "just street traffic noise." Potential visitors who are sensitive to daytime noise should be aware of this factor. Despite the noise from the steel plant during the day, the reviewer still found the park adequate for their needs, particularly as a convenient stop during their travels.
The services at Cypress Creek RV Park are a significant highlight, particularly the customer service provided by the staff. One reviewer specifically commended "Bob," who went out of his way to ensure they could maneuver their large RV into the assigned site. This included driving the reviewer to the site in his truck to verify its suitability and ease of access. Furthermore, Bob ensured that the guests received all eligible discounts, contributing to their perception of good value for money. This level of personalized and helpful service can greatly enhance the overall experience at an RV park.
The park also offers essential amenities such as a "shower house." While described as "adequately clean," it met the basic hygiene needs of the reviewer. Importantly, the shower provided "plenty of pressure and hot water," which are often key considerations for travelers using park facilities. The adequacy of the shower house suggests that while it might not be luxurious, it is functional and provides the necessary services.
Features of Cypress Creek RV Park include the availability of pull-through sites, which are particularly beneficial for larger RVs and those towing vehicles. The park is also noted for its cleanliness and the friendly and helpful customer service provided by the staff. The reasonable pricing is another significant feature, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers. The park's location appears to be convenient for those traveling along US-62 and potentially the nearby interstate, as suggested by the reviewer who mentioned it as a "convenient, adequate stop."
Promotional information can be gleaned from the positive aspects highlighted in the reviews. The "good customer service," particularly the proactive help with site selection and ensuring discounts, is a strong selling point. The "reasonable price" and the park being a "good value for our money" will appeal to budget-conscious travelers. The cleanliness of the location and the adequacy of the facilities, including the shower house with good water pressure and hot water, are also positive attributes that the park can promote. Furthermore, the convenience of the location for those traveling through the area makes it an attractive option for overnight or short-term stays.
Despite the daytime noise from the nearby steel plant, the recurring sentiment of the park being a "convenient, adequate stop at a reasonable price with good customer service" and the statement "We would stay again!" from another reviewer indicate a generally positive experience for those using the park as a stopover during their travels. The willingness of guests to return despite the noise suggests that the other positive aspects of the park outweigh this environmental drawback for many.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Sikeston, Missouri, Cypress Creek RV Park offers a practical and affordable option, especially for those needing pull-through sites for larger RVs. The friendly and helpful service provided by the staff, as highlighted in the reviews, adds significant value to the stay. While the daytime noise from the adjacent steel plant is a factor to consider, the park's cleanliness, adequate facilities, reasonable rates, and convenient location make it a worthwhile option for travelers passing through the area. Cypress Creek RV Park Reviews
I'll start with service. Bob made sure we could maneuver into our assigned site, he drove me to it in his truck to verify it was OK and we could get in and out without problems. We have a 40ft class A diesel pusher and we were towing a jeep so we needed a pull through site. He made sure we got the discounts we were eligible for and we feel it was a good value for our money. The sites and the whole park are "adequate". One can tell at some point in the past this was a very nice park. We used the shower house. It was adequately clean and the shower had plenty of pressure and hot water. It's across the street from a steel plant so during the day there's plenty of noise from that but it quits around 3 and just street traffic noise after that. We'll keep coming back as it's a convenient, adequate stop at a reasonable price with good customer service.

Nov 27, 2024 · D DarrowI have never had this many issues at an RV park. The park manager tells you one thing then comes back and says you can’t do that and blames the owners. Threatens to tow your vehicles when you park exactly how he tells you to. Speeds through the park when you light your small personal grill(allowed in rules). Claims you have 4-5 complaints on you over night but yet I talk to all my neighbors and no one has had an issue. Claims loud vehicles mess up everyone’s tv in the park. Also I have heard if you park in the grass(weeds) they will make you replace with sod. The only thing here is weeds due to lack of lawn care. Also don’t expect Wi-Fi for all your devices. If you want to stay in a park that is ran like a nursing home then you should definitely come here.If you are human and like to be outside and cook or have a drink with friends or family then you will be threatened to be kicked out. And at the same time be told that they will call the other parks in the area that they own so that you can’t move. I’m not sure if they own anymore but if they do I hope they aren’t run like this one.20hrs after leaving a review I get evicted lol.
Apr 11, 2024 · Alvin HowardThis is not a destination park. But it is sufficient for a short stay. The manager is a nice helpful guy, and accommodating. This RV Park is clean, and well manicured. Gravel roadways and pads, grassy areas in between. Dogs have their own area. This is right across from a Steel plant and can be noisy during the week day, but quiet at night.
Apr 15, 2023 · Joy SeekerThis is a great place to stay, close to Sikeston/Miner. Not far from Lambert's. Reasonable rates. Lots of shade trees makes it alot cooler, unlike another park closer to Interstate 55 which has no trees! Fairly quiet, except for noise from the steel plant across the road. Great for overnights or long term!!! The Manager Bob is very nice!
