Northwood Estates Mobile Home Park Introduce
Northwood Estates Mobile Home Park, located at 1905 Tracy Rd in Northwood, Ohio, is a residential community that may appear in local searches for 'RV parks near me' for individuals and families seeking long-term mobile home living. You can contact Northwood Estates Mobile Home Park at (419) 964-6639 or +1 419-964-6639 for inquiries. However, publicly available reviews paint a concerning picture of the living conditions and management practices at this park, which prospective residents should carefully consider.
One particularly alarming review details a severe and prolonged cockroach infestation throughout the park. The resident states that the infestation was so extensive that it led to the loss of a significant portion of their belongings. According to this reviewer, it took over a year and intervention from the health department before any meaningful action was taken to address the pest problem. This suggests a potentially systemic issue with pest control and a lack of proactive management in maintaining a habitable environment.
Furthermore, this same reviewer makes serious allegations against Terri, the community manager. They claim that the manager engages in deceptive practices to attract new residents, promising one thing before move-in and then exhibiting harassing behavior and withholding crucial information afterward. The reviewer asserts having "proof of it all," indicating potentially significant issues with transparency and ethical conduct on the part of the management. The fact that this former resident still experiences nightmares about their time at Northwood Estates underscores the severity of their negative experience and serves as a strong warning to potential future residents.
Another review highlights what is perceived as an unusually harsh and unforgiving rent payment policy. Unlike typical rental properties that may offer a grace period or a small late fee for occasional late payments, Northwood Estates allegedly enforces a "no tolerance policy" regarding even a single day of late rent. According to this reviewer, this strict policy applies regardless of a tenant's history of on-time payments or unforeseen financial difficulties, with a single day's tardiness potentially leading to immediate eviction proceedings. The reviewer draws a stark comparison to the policies of "dark, dirty and dangerous places" with unreliable tenants, suggesting that such an aggressive policy indicates a problematic living environment and management approach.
This reviewer further opines that this extreme rent policy, along with other unspecified "unusually strict policies," should serve as a clear indicator of the kind of place Northwood Estates is. The presence of a few newer mobile homes is dismissed as a superficial attempt to mask underlying neglect and systemic issues within the park. This suggests that while there might be some newer units, the overall infrastructure and management practices may not be up to par.
Considering these two reviews, the overall impression of Northwood Estates Mobile Home Park is overwhelmingly negative and raises serious concerns about the quality of life and the management's practices. The allegations of severe pest infestation, particularly cockroaches, and the apparent lack of effective and timely intervention, pose significant health and safety risks for residents. The claims of deceptive management practices and harassment further suggest a hostile living environment where residents may not be treated with fairness or respect.
The extremely strict and unforgiving rent policy, with the threat of immediate eviction for even a one-day delay, indicates a lack of empathy and understanding towards residents and could create significant instability and stress for those living in the park. This policy, in conjunction with the alleged neglect despite the presence of some new homes, paints a picture of a community where profit and strict adherence to rules may be prioritized over the well-being and reasonable circumstances of the residents.
For local users searching for 'RV parks near me' that offer a safe, clean, and stable long-term living environment, the available information strongly advises against considering Northwood Estates Mobile Home Park. The severe issues raised by former residents, including pest infestations, questionable management practices, and an excessively harsh rent policy, suggest that this community may not provide a positive or secure living experience.
Prospective residents who come across Northwood Estates in their search for mobile home parks or long-term RV sites in Northwood, Ohio, are strongly urged to exercise extreme caution and to thoroughly investigate these serious allegations before considering this community as a place to live. Attempting to contact current residents directly (if possible) to gain a broader range of perspectives would be a prudent step, although the strong negative experiences shared online are significant red flags.
Given the severity of the issues described, it would also be wise to check with local authorities, such as the health department or tenant rights organizations, to see if there have been other complaints or documented issues regarding Northwood Estates Mobile Home Park. Relying solely on the park management for information would likely not provide an unbiased or complete picture of the living conditions and management practices.
In conclusion, the limited but highly critical resident reviews available for Northwood Estates Mobile Home Park in Northwood, Ohio, paint a disturbing picture of severe pest infestations, allegedly unethical management practices, and an extremely strict rent policy. Individuals searching for 'RV parks near me' in the area are strongly advised to take these serious concerns into account and to exercise extreme caution before considering residing in this community. Exploring alternative mobile home parks or long-term RV sites in the Northwood area would likely be a more prudent course of action to ensure a safe, stable, and respectful living environment.

Northwood Estates Mobile Home Park Reviews
WHERE TO BEGIN! To start, the place is infested with COCKROACHES it took over a year, and me calling the health department for them to attempt to do anything. Terri, the community manager, will say whatever it takes to get your money and get you to move in, then they will harass you the whole time you're there and with hold information. I HAVE PROOF OF IT ALL. On top of losing most of my belongings because my neighbors were horribly infested with roaches. They also owe me last month's rent and my security deposit. I literally have nightmares still about this place. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.
Oct 09, 2024 · Shannon WheelerUnlike nearly all other rental properties that charge a small late fee for being late with rent, or management understanding that tenants who normally pay on time can have occasional money problems, management at Northwood Estates trailer park, have a no tolerance policy regarding even one day late rent payment, lived here 1 year or ten years, one day late means instant eviction. This type of policy is usually reserved for the stereotypical rent a room by the hour, day or week. Dark, dirty and dangerous places where the tenents are so unreliable, that an aggressive no tolerance policy is needed. The rent policy along with other unusually strict policies, should make it obvious the kind of place this park is. A few new mobile homes does not hide the neglect.
