Cypress Shores Manufactured Home Community Introduce
When searching for "RV parks near me" in Winter Haven, Florida, you might also be exploring nearby manufactured home communities as potential long-term residential options. These communities often offer a different lifestyle and set of amenities compared to typical RV parks. This overview provides an objective introduction to Cypress Shores Manufactured Home Community, located at 200 Bass Cir, Winter Haven, FL 33881, USA, based on recent customer feedback available online.
Cypress Shores Manufactured Home Community can be contacted at (863) 956-1502 or +1 863-956-1502. Understanding the experiences of current residents can offer valuable insights for those considering this community as their new home.
One detailed review from a resident who has lived in Cypress Shores for approximately four years describes a significant shift in the community's atmosphere over time. Initially, the resident found it to be a "quiet and peaceful place to live." However, their recent experience paints a different picture, stating that it is now "awful." A key concern raised is the perceived change in the demographic of the community. The reviewer mentions that it no longer adheres to an "80/20 percentage," which they understood to mean 80 percent of residents being 55 and over, and 20 percent under that age. The reviewer believes it has transitioned into more of a "family park," resulting in a noticeable increase in noise levels, with "young people blasting their music."
Further concerns include a lack of respect for residents' property, with instances of people "flying down the streets" and driving over lawns and sidewalks. The reviewer also notes a trend of individuals buying properties and then renting them out to others, which they imply may contribute to the changing demographics and the associated issues. This shift in the community dynamic has significantly impacted the resident's quality of life, leading them to express regret about the current environment and concerns about the future resale value of their home. The change has been so profound that they now "hate to come home" due to the unpredictable and often disruptive environment.
In contrast to this negative experience, another review offers a brief positive assessment, stating "Easy access good roads inside well kept park." This feedback suggests that at least some aspects of the community, such as the internal road infrastructure and overall upkeep of the park grounds, are well-maintained and appreciated by some residents.
The discrepancy between these two reviews highlights a potential divide in the current resident experience at Cypress Shores Manufactured Home Community. While the park may offer practical advantages like easy access and well-maintained roads, there appear to be significant concerns regarding the community's atmosphere, demographic shift, and respect for property, at least from the perspective of a long-term resident.
The first reviewer mentions a "screen room on the lake front" as an existing amenity. However, they also report negative experiences associated with its use, stating that people go there at night, "blasting music and drinking." This suggests that while the community may have appealing features like lake access, the behavior of some individuals using these facilities can detract from the overall enjoyment for other residents.
Based on the available information, there is no specific promotional information for Cypress Shores Manufactured Home Community. Local users interested in learning more about living in this community would need to contact the management directly to inquire about lot availability, home sales or rentals, community rules and regulations (including any age restrictions or guidelines regarding noise and property respect), and any amenities offered beyond the lakefront screen room and well-kept roads.
For prospective residents considering Cypress Shores, it would be prudent to inquire specifically about the community's current demographic composition and any efforts to manage noise levels and ensure respect for residents' property. Speaking with current residents, if possible, could provide a more nuanced understanding of the day-to-day living experience and whether the issues raised in the negative review are widespread or isolated incidents. It would also be beneficial to clarify the rules regarding property rentals within the community.
In conclusion, Cypress Shores Manufactured Home Community in Winter Haven, Florida, presents a mixed picture based on the limited recent reviews. While the park appears to offer some practical benefits like good internal roads and potentially a well-kept environment, significant concerns have been raised by a long-term resident regarding a perceived shift in the community's demographic, increased noise levels, lack of respect for property, and disruptive behavior at communal facilities. Potential residents should carefully consider these contrasting perspectives and conduct thorough due diligence to determine if Cypress Shores aligns with their desired living environment and expectations for a manufactured home community.

Cypress Shores Manufactured Home Community Reviews
We have lived here about 4 yrs now. It was such a quite and peaceful place to live. Now it is awful. It is not 80/20 percentage, which means 80 percent 55 and over and 20 percent under. I guess this is a family park now. It's not quite anymore, young people blasting their music, flying down the streets and absolutely no respect for other people's property. They will drive right over your lawns and sidewalks. They come in here and buy up property and then rent it out to whoever they want. They do have a screen room on the lake front, but they go in there at night blasting music and drinking. When I get ready to sell, I will never get a descent price for my home. I use to love it here. Come home from work and unwind, not now. Now I get hear blasting rap music. It's a shame when you hate to come home because you never know what to expect. Doesn't feel like home anymore.

Feb 28, 2025 · DAVID CHRISTLEReally really nice place, especially for the price. Anytime anyone of my friends is looking to move I recommend this place. Really nice people, a nice lake with a dock, outdoor things like grills, benches and a screened in room by the lake. Coin laundry and shuffleboard too, along with an indoor exercise room. They take good care of the roads and make sure everything looks too. I love this place.
Jun 29, 2021 · Ethan HadleyNice, small and quiet community
Apr 22, 2025 · Jasmin RuizMediocre community. The property is poorly taken care of. Drainage pipes flow water down the street constantly. I paid the lot rent and received a demand notice of payment in 5 days or leave the property. Funny thing is I handed the payment to the manager in her hand. It no longer is a 55 plus community. Kids galore and young adults. Way over 20 percent of people here. So suffice it to say I'm not pleased I bought a home here. If you think I'm fibbing move here and find out.
