Dalewood Mobile Home Park Introduce
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in the Cross Lanes, West Virginia area, Dalewood Mobile Home Park, located at 5243 Dalewood Dr #1748, Cross Lanes, WV 25313, USA, presents a location that might be considered. Primarily a mobile home park catering to longer-term residents, such communities sometimes also offer accommodations for recreational vehicles, either for short-term travelers or those seeking extended stays. To determine if Dalewood Mobile Home Park aligns with your RV needs, let's examine the available information.
Situated on Dalewood Drive in Cross Lanes, West Virginia, Dalewood Mobile Home Park is located in a community within the Kanawha Valley. Cross Lanes is a census-designated place near Charleston, offering a mix of residential and commercial areas. For those traveling in RVs, the location might provide access to amenities and services in the broader Charleston metropolitan area. However, specific details about the immediate environment of the mobile home park itself are limited to its address.
The limited feedback available from online reviews presents a sharply contrasting view of Dalewood Mobile Home Park. One reviewer, who states they unfortunately live there, paints a concerning picture of the community. They allege that law enforcement is present daily and describe a pervasive issue with "drug addicts and thieves." While they acknowledge a few "really good people," their overall assessment suggests a significant problem with the community's safety and the behavior of many residents. The reviewer recounts a serious incident where a former neighbor allegedly shot someone in their trailer during a drug deal. They also mention new ownership and frequent turnover in property management, including an alleged incident where the current manager was assaulted. This review raises significant red flags regarding the safety and stability of the community, which would be a major concern for anyone considering staying there, including RV travelers.
In stark contrast, another reviewer simply states, "I love living in Dalewood Trailer Park. I have been here two years now." This positive sentiment offers a completely different perspective, suggesting that some residents have a favorable experience living in the community. However, this brief positive comment does not provide any specific details about the environment, management, or amenities.
Given the severely negative account in one review, which details significant safety and management issues, alongside a brief positive statement from another resident, it is challenging to form a balanced view of the community's environment. For those searching for "RV parks near me," the serious allegations in the negative review would likely warrant significant caution.
When considering Dalewood Mobile Home Park as a potential option for RV stays, it is important to recognize that the primary function is that of a mobile home park. If they do accommodate RVs, typical services and features might include:
- Spaces or lots that could potentially accommodate RVs. The suitability of these spaces for RVs of different sizes is unknown.
- Utility hookups, which might include electricity, water, and sewer connections. The availability and specifics of these hookups for RVs are not mentioned in the reviews.
- Internal roads for access within the park.
- Basic infrastructure, but no information is available regarding specific amenities for RV travelers.
Due to the conflicting and concerning feedback regarding the overall community environment and management, there is no basis to infer any positive promotional information or specific benefits for RV users. The serious safety concerns raised in one review would likely outweigh the brief positive sentiment expressed by another resident for those considering a temporary stay in an RV.
To obtain any information regarding RV accommodations at Dalewood Mobile Home Park, including whether they even offer sites for RVs, the rates, the types of hookups available, and any amenities for RV guests, you would need to contact them directly at (304) 208-8044 or +1 304-208-8044. However, given the serious allegations in one of the available reviews, it would be prudent to proceed with significant caution and perhaps seek alternative "RV parks near me" in the Cross Lanes area that have more consistently positive or detailed information available for RV travelers.
In conclusion, Dalewood Mobile Home Park in Cross Lanes, West Virginia, is primarily a mobile home community. The limited online reviews offer starkly contrasting perspectives, with one review detailing significant safety and management concerns, while another expresses satisfaction with living there. There is no specific information provided regarding services or features specifically for RVs. For those searching for "RV parks near me," it is strongly recommended to carefully consider the negative feedback and to seek more information directly from the management regarding RV accommodations, or to explore other options in the Cross Lanes area that have more reassuring information available for RV travelers.

Dalewood Mobile Home Park Reviews
Unfortunately I live here. Cops are here daily. Drug addicts and thieves all over. There are a handful of really good people but most should be on prison. My former neighbor (right across from me) shot someone last year in his trailer in a drug deal gone bad. That should give you an idea of the quality. New owners now. Went through 2 property managers in 2 months. I hear after someone pulled a gun on the current one and then hit her in the head with a rock we may be getting another one soon.
