Eagle's View RV Park Introduce
If you're searching for "RV parks near me" in the Sand Springs, Oklahoma area, Eagle's View RV Park, located at 20601 W Wekiwa Rd, presents itself as a potential option. Based on customer reviews, the park exhibits both positive aspects for short-term stays and some significant concerns regarding long-term experiences and maintenance.
For those passing through and needing an overnight spot, Eagle's View RV Park appears to offer a welcoming experience. One traveler heading home to Canada shared a positive interaction, stating, "Very friendly gentleman said no problem and got us a site and was very easy going about our arrival time." This suggests that the management can be accommodating and friendly, particularly for short-term visitors. The same reviewer also highlighted the practical amenities, noting "Nice concrete level parking pads with full hook ups for a very reasonable rate." Level concrete pads are a significant advantage for RVers, providing a stable and easy setup, and full hookups (water, electricity, and sewer) are essential for a comfortable stay. The mention of a "very reasonable rate" further adds to the appeal for budget-conscious travelers.
The friendly service extended beyond just securing a site. The reviewer also mentioned, "He met us and he gave us lots of information about the area if we had time. We enjoyed our stay and found everyone very friendly. Would stay again if passing thru." This indicates that the staff is willing to go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome and informed about the local surroundings, contributing to a positive overall experience for those on a brief stopover.
However, a more detailed review from someone who lived at the park for a few months paints a less favorable picture, particularly concerning maintenance and management interactions over time. This long-term resident described the "management is OK" but raised serious allegations about the "maintenance/lawnmower" person, referring to them as a "shady character."
The specific incidents reported are quite concerning. The reviewer stated, "our sewer line was cut by the weed eater 2 times. Both times he would blame us for it. He would tell the manager that it was cut up and down instead of sideways." This suggests a pattern of damage to residents' property due to maintenance activities and a lack of accountability or willingness to take responsibility. Furthermore, the reviewer claimed, "Our water line was also cut by a weedeater, and that was blamed on something else." These repeated incidents of utility line damage raise questions about the care and precision of the groundskeeping practices.
An unusual situation involving an offer of work in exchange for rent was also described: "The manager had asked my husband if he would be willing to weedeat the entire park in exchange for monthly rent. No biggie, he is the type of guy that is willing to help. He did do the park, and some of the ditch. Manager had told him that was enough for the rent, mind you he has a full-time job as well and she knew that. He worked on his days off in the disgusting heat." While the husband was willing to help, the subsequent events led to dissatisfaction. The reviewer continued, "The shady character told the manager that he didn't even weedeat around his camper and he's the boss. That's a blatant , because I was the one that brought him water and he was doing it at that time." This accusation of dishonesty by the maintenance person to the manager created conflict and distrust.
The financial implications for the departing residents were also significant: "Long story short, we ended up moving to another state for his job, we were on our 11th day into the month that we had rent paid for, from his work weedeating. So we were screwed out of at least 200$ because of the shady characters lies." This suggests that the agreement for rent in exchange for work was not honored upon their departure, resulting in a financial loss for the former residents.
Adding to the concerns, the reviewer also reported a safety issue: "I also have a video of him blowing tons of grass into the road and just left it, for a motorcyclist to wreck. Thank God that didn't happen, but the amount of grass he left was terrible. I also brought that up to the manager, because supposedly the owner of the park had gotten on to him for the same things. She said he wouldn't have done that because he knows not too. Mind you the manager and her husband were gone on vacay, so how would she know." This raises serious questions about the maintenance person's regard for safety and the manager's awareness or handling of the situation.
Despite these significant negative experiences related to long-term stays and the maintenance person, the reviewer concluded with a conditional willingness to return: "I would stay there again, as long as the shady character is gone. That 200$ could have helped us A LOT right now. Thanks for screwing us over." This suggests that the underlying infrastructure and the initial positive interactions with management (at least for short-term stays) were satisfactory, but the issues with the specific maintenance individual were a major deterrent.
Considering these mixed reviews, Eagle's View RV Park appears to offer a potentially pleasant experience for overnight or short-term travelers, with friendly service, level concrete pads, and full hookups at a reasonable rate. However, potential long-term residents should be aware of the serious allegations raised by a former long-term resident regarding the maintenance person's conduct, property damage, and potential dishonesty, as well as the handling of a work-for-rent agreement upon departure. While management was described as "OK," the response to the maintenance issues seems to have been a point of contention.
For those considering a stay at Eagle's View RV Park, especially for an extended period, it would be prudent to inquire specifically about the park's maintenance procedures, the staff responsible, and how any issues are addressed. Short-term travelers might find the positive aspects appealing, but it's always wise to be aware of the full spectrum of recent experiences.

Oct 12, 2023 · Christy BrakeIt's a nice park...good laundromat, noticed that too many broke down washer and dryers.....no safer than any other place..mostly shady and I'm not talking about the trees..its an okay area..take your chances!! Watch out for the property manager, she changes in a flash, personality changes are obvious, she's like a dictator and she runs with it, don't know why the owner puts up with her, she has caused alot of good people to leave because of her bad attitude, she is nice to your face but watch your back, if she don't get along with you, she invents something to tell the owner to get you kicked off the property, I've seen this first hand, as I said before, WATCH YOUR BACK!!!
Dec 25, 2023 · Cassie DuganMe and my kids stayed at this Park after the Tornado that tore thru Sand Springs, Oklahoma in March of 2015. This place is very family friendly, Clean facilities including a locked laundry area with cameras, Excellent Management, good rates with an exceptional view and impeccable location from both the highway, and from Keystone National Park. The management keeps non-sense out, and maintains the park meticulously! We have traveled all over the nation and this place is by far one of the nicer, cleaner, well maintained parks in the south/south west!
Oct 05, 2021 · D MWell the managers never there, and they expect you to pay your rent at a Dropbox but you never get a receipt, and who wants to go to the bank and get money out to pay for your lot rent
