Eagle View Manufactured Housing Community Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" or exploring options for manufactured housing communities in the Hanover, Pennsylvania area? Eagle View Manufactured Housing Community, located at 113 Eagle Dr, Hanover, PA 17331, USA, has received recent feedback from its residents that provides insights into the community. You can contact them at (717) 775-7840 or +1 717-775-7840 for inquiries.
Based on recent customer reviews, the environment at Eagle View Manufactured Housing Community is described as having "nice lots," which could be an appealing aspect for those looking for spacious individual sites, whether for a mobile home or an RV. One reviewer also notes that the "location is pretty near perfect," suggesting convenient access to local amenities and possibly transportation routes in the Hanover area. However, despite these positive points, there are concerns raised about the overall environment in relation to the cost of living. The lack of usable amenities, specifically mentioning that the "club house" has been unusable for at least two years despite being listed as a perk on the website, detracts from the perceived value of the community environment. Additionally, a significant issue highlighted is the "sad need of updating" of the water system, which has resulted in "extremely low water pressure." This is a crucial environmental factor that can significantly impact the quality of life for residents, whether in mobile homes or RVs.
The services offered at Eagle View Manufactured Housing Community, according to resident reviews, appear to be quite limited relative to the increasing cost of lot rent. The included services mentioned are water, trash removal, and snow removal. However, the quality and reliability of these services have been called into question. As previously mentioned, the water system is described as being in need of updating, leading to low water pressure, which is a significant service concern. The effectiveness and timeliness of trash and snow removal are not detailed, but the overall sentiment suggests that the basic services provided do not justify the escalating lot rent. The absence of other typical community amenities, such as a functional clubhouse, recreational facilities, or well-maintained common areas, further limits the perceived value of the services for the cost incurred by residents. For those considering this as one of the "RV parks near me" for a longer stay, it would be crucial to ascertain if RV sites are even offered and what specific hookups and services are available for RVs, as the current feedback primarily pertains to mobile home lot rentals.
The features of Eagle View Manufactured Housing Community, as perceived by recent residents, are somewhat limited and overshadowed by the negative aspects mentioned. The "nice lots" could be considered a positive feature, offering potentially spacious and well-defined areas for homes or RVs. The "pretty near perfect" location is another potential advantage, suggesting convenience to local resources and transportation. However, the lack of usable amenities, particularly the non-operational clubhouse, is a significant drawback. The ongoing water pressure issues are another major negative feature impacting daily living. The primary concern raised by multiple reviewers is the "unacceptable" and "insane" increase in lot rent over the past few years. One resident reported their rent increasing from $435 to $600 in a single year, with further increases being proposed, making it, in their opinion, the "MOST expensive mobile home park in our area." This escalating cost, coupled with the limited amenities and service issues, significantly diminishes the perceived value and attractiveness of the community. The comparison made by a long-term resident that it has now become cheaper to buy a home on its own land further underscores the issue of the high cost relative to the benefits offered.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," Eagle View Manufactured Housing Community, based on the recent reviews, does not present itself as a highly attractive option for RV travelers. The lack of mention of specific RV amenities or services, combined with the concerns about water pressure and the absence of usable community facilities, suggests that it may not be well-equipped for RV stays. Furthermore, the rapidly increasing lot rent, even for mobile homes, could indicate potentially high rates for RV sites as well, without the corresponding amenities that RVers typically seek. Prospective RVers would need to contact the park directly to inquire about the availability of RV sites and the associated costs and services, but the current resident feedback raises significant concerns about the overall value proposition.
For local users specifically looking for mobile home lots for rent in Hanover, PA, Eagle View Manufactured Housing Community offers the potential of "nice lots" in a convenient location. However, the significant and rapidly increasing lot rent, coupled with the limited amenities (non-operational clubhouse) and the ongoing water pressure issues, are critical factors to consider. The sentiment expressed by long-term residents, who have seen substantial rent hikes without corresponding improvements in services or amenities, should serve as a strong caution. The comparison to the cost of owning land outright suggests that the value proposition of renting a lot in this community may be questionable. Prospective mobile home residents should carefully weigh the benefits of the location and lot size against the high and rising cost of rent and the lack of promised amenities and essential service reliability.
Currently, no specific promotional information for Eagle View Manufactured Housing Community is available in the provided data. Given the strong negative feedback regarding rent increases and the lack of usable amenities and reliable water service, any potential promotions should be viewed with caution. Prospective residents are strongly advised to contact the park management directly to inquire about current lot rent, any additional fees, the status of the clubhouse and water system, and to seek clarification on the reasons for the significant rent increases. Visiting the community in person to assess the lot conditions and the overall environment would also be a crucial step before making any decisions.
In conclusion, Eagle View Manufactured Housing Community in Hanover, PA, offers potentially nice lots in a convenient location. However, the significant and rapidly increasing lot rent, the lack of usable amenities (specifically the clubhouse), and the ongoing issues with low water pressure are major concerns highlighted by current residents. For local users seeking "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living, thorough due diligence and a cautious approach are strongly recommended due to the reported high cost relative to the limited services and amenities provided.

Eagle View Manufactured Housing Community Reviews
Have lived here for two years and definitely has nice lots but the lot rent is unacceptable. There are no amenities other than water which is in sad need of updating and trash and snow removal. The "club house" still can not be used. We have been here two years, and it is listed on the website as being a perk. Not. Location is pretty near perfect though.
Aug 17, 2024 · Mary DitzlerUnbelievable how much the rent has gone up!! Mine went from 435 to 600 in a year and now they want to raise it more. The water problem has not been solved so you have extremely low water pressure. This has now become the MOST expensive mobile home park in our area. I have lived here since 2005 and loved it,not anymore. Most people here ,including me,are on a fixed income. It's insane that it now has become cheaper to by a home on its own land!!
Dec 28, 2023 · Lori SmithOn top of everything that is happening I was walking my dog at 3:15 today on the sidewalk and he fell into the holes that have been dug by the company putting up the retainer wall. Megan and the township have been notified, it is unsafe to live here. LEGACY HAS THE NERVE TO RAISE THE LOT RENT AFTER EVERYTHING THAT HAS HAPPENED IN THE PAST YEAR. LEGACY IS NOTHING BUT CROOKS AND LIARS AND THEY DON'T CARE YOU THEY HURT. LEGACY DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR. LEGACY CORPORATION DOESN'T EVEN HAVE THE COMMON COURTESY TO CALL AND SPEAK WITH THE RESIDENTS.It's been almost a year and the water issue is still not resolved. For the past year the residents have either had no water or very low water pressure. Legacy thinks bringing in truck loads of water will solve the problem, its not fixing the problem. Legacy decided to build a retainer wall in the middle of last fall and winter. Our roads are unsafe for driving and walking, they are so tore up its a hazard. Legacy doesn't seem to care and tired of it. The resident manager seems to be in the dark about everything. As a resident who pays ground rent that keeps getting increased every year, I DEMAND to know more about what's happening in the Community.
Dec 12, 2023 · Tim HughesAs a resident of Eagle View since October 2019, my family and I have been very happy living here. The residents are very friendly and its a safe community to live. I understand the previous owner Don didn't always upgrade the community. When Legacy bought the community they had a lot of issues that needed to be addressed and I'm more problems than anticipated. As a suggestion it would be very helpful to the residents if we would receive a monthly newsletter in with our ground rent statement. I would like to know what Legacy's Long Term Goals are for the community. As residents we are not kept informed. The resident manager Megan gives us updates, but she isn't aware of everything. The work that has being going on with Egret Drive it would have been very helpful to understand why this work was happening. Are questions are usually only answered when residents are upset, then Megan gives us answers. A retaining wall was being built on Egret Drive, that would be another good example as to why its happening. Is there going to be a walking path to the Clubhouse? I'm very disappointed that Legacy can't keep residents informed nor is their a phone number as to contact Legacy. Why are all the new homes going into the development look the same. All these cookie cutter homes look awful. Variety of homes is more appealing. If the cookie cutters home stay, are there eventually going to be a model home for potential buyers. Is the ground rent going to raised every year, if so then how much do residents expect? It's not too much to ask of Legacy to communicate with residents.
Dec 16, 2023 · Bobbi HughesTerrible place for the residents and the contractors that have to work there.
