Echo Valley Estates Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" who might be interested in a more permanent or longer-term living situation within a community setting, Echo Valley Estates, located at 200 Echo Valley Dr, Shavertown, PA 18708, presents itself as a mobile home park. While categorized under "RV parks near me" by some platforms, mobile home parks typically offer a different kind of residential experience compared to traditional RV parks that cater primarily to temporary travelers. Echo Valley Estates aims to provide a community environment for its residents. You can reach them at (570) 332-5300 or +1 570-332-5300.
Based on the limited feedback available from residents online, we can glean some insights into the environment and management of Echo Valley Estates. One reviewer who enjoyed their stay while visiting a friend's trailer noted a somewhat "touchy" community vibe. This observation, although subjective, suggests that the community might have established social norms or interactions that newcomers might perceive in a certain way. The same reviewer also mentioned an uncomfortable personal interaction during a casual game, highlighting the importance of individual comfort levels within any community setting. Despite this, the reviewer indicated a willingness to return, albeit with a note of caution ("ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK…"). This suggests that while there might be aspects of the community that some individuals find less appealing, there are also reasons why people might choose to stay or visit.
In contrast, another review from a longtime elderly resident offers a positive perspective, particularly regarding the property managers, Brian and Helen. This resident expressed gratitude for their assistance during a year with significant snow and challenging weather conditions, stating that Brian and Helen "have done a great job helping us out." This feedback is crucial as it speaks directly to the responsiveness and care provided by the property management, which is a significant factor in the quality of life within a mobile home park community, especially for long-term and elderly residents who may require additional support during adverse conditions.
Considering these two reviews, the environment of Echo Valley Estates appears to be one where community interaction occurs, which can be both positive and potentially sensitive depending on individual personalities and experiences. The property management, as highlighted by the elderly resident, seems to be a strong positive aspect, contributing to the well-being of the residents, particularly during challenging times.
Environment and Community:
The mention of a "touchy" community suggests that there might be a close-knit social fabric where established residents have certain expectations or ways of interacting. For those seeking a strong sense of community, this could be a positive aspect, fostering neighborly relationships and mutual support. However, for individuals who prefer more privacy or are new to the community, it might take time to understand and navigate these social dynamics. The incident described by the first reviewer underscores the importance of personal space and comfort in community settings.
On the other hand, the positive feedback about the property managers indicates a supportive environment, especially concerning practical needs like dealing with severe weather. This suggests that while social dynamics might vary, the management is attentive to the welfare of the residents.
Services and Features (Typical of Mobile Home Parks):
As a mobile home park, Echo Valley Estates likely offers certain infrastructure and services to support long-term residency. These typically include:
- Individual lots for mobile homes with utility hookups (water, electricity, sewer).
- Roads and common areas within the park.
- Potentially waste management services.
- Possibly common amenities such as a community center, laundry facilities, or recreational areas, although these are not specifically mentioned in the provided reviews.
Given that one reviewer was staying at a "buddy's trailer," it confirms the presence of individual lots where mobile homes are situated. However, the reviews do not provide detailed information about the specific amenities available within Echo Valley Estates. Local users interested in the park should inquire directly about the services and features offered.
Promotional Information:
The provided reviews do not contain any explicit promotional information about Echo Valley Estates. The feedback is primarily focused on the personal experiences of individuals within or visiting the community and their interactions with other residents and the management.
Objective Introduction for Local Users:
For local users searching under "RV parks near me" who might be considering a mobile home park like Echo Valley Estates for a longer-term stay in Shavertown, PA, it appears to be a community with a notable presence of long-term residents. The social environment may be perceived as close-knit, which could be a benefit for those seeking community interaction but might require some adjustment for newcomers. A significant positive aspect highlighted is the supportive and helpful property management, particularly in addressing the needs of residents during challenging circumstances like severe weather.
However, potential residents should also be mindful of the subjective experience shared by one reviewer regarding the community feel and personal interactions. While this was one individual's perception, it is worth considering alongside the positive feedback about the management.
To gain a more comprehensive understanding of Echo Valley Estates, local users are encouraged to contact the park directly at (570) 332-5300 to inquire about lot availability, services, amenities, and the overall community environment. Echo Valley Estates Reviews
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay over my buddies trailer yet I felt as if the community had been a little touchy, Uncle Sammy cam to play with us (cornhole) and he kept rubbing my shoulder. This was probably a friendly gesture but I DID NOT appreciate it personally, would go again BUT ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK…
Feb 07, 2025 · G HjjAs a longtime elderly resident the snow this year and weather has been something else so thankful for Brian and Helen the property managers. They’ve done a great job helping us out.
Feb 12, 2025 · Jerry McStevensVery nice community the view is unbelievable, it clean homes are very nice, seems to me the owner really cares about the park
Feb 11, 2025 · Troy LoganThe management of this park is very proactive. They provide a safe and convenient place for their residents.
Dec 03, 2024 · S “Superhero for Fun!”All they care about is their rent. Not much more. Especially about cutting the grass. They don't even cut their grass that much. People get away with a lot here. Favoritism a lot. Neglect for safety is a big issue. Sewage problems leaking and backyard since I lived here for the last 10 years. Possibly fixed don't know. Steps for never put in right. Neglected to take the old stairway away from 10 years ago. Been on them about the same problems for the last 10 years and not one thing was done ever. Until my house was hit by a vehicle on purpose three times and still let them live here for a year and a half afterwards until the house was condemned in the same person assaulted Me 2 months earlier to the point that I almost died . Fact. Then they put up a 3 in cement for parking on a flat surface. After the house was hit three times and 37,000 in damage which they said they may responsible for for neglect of safety and procrastination the biggest problem with the old manager Jr. Did not know certain things weren't up the code from the beginning just finding out now. Just finding out a lot about the place now. Been living here for 10 years with a new manager but not talk to me until she took me to court and the court was dismissed because of paying at the pothonotaries for 15 months now even more. If I didn't paid at the pathometeries I wouldn't have my receipts to prove I lived here and paid my rent. Never gave rent receipts ever that was a major problem. And still don't. Don't think it's the managers think it's the owners not one the cooperate or put money into the park anymore. Rent one up $220 in the last 10 years. And then nothing to show for it but the entrance of the park. Water problems. Putting a house next to my house that they told me they never put a house into because of drainage was wrong. And only a FEMA home would be put there cuz it's too close to the houses around it. Favoritism for the first 7 years was ridiculous. Don't think it's management think it's the owners truly. Managers always say just doing what the owners want. Still living here and it's starting to make me go crazy. No cooperation with management. Or owners
