Located at 740 Jumper Rd, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702, USA, this park offers a unique living experience within the scenic Pocono region.
Based on available information and customer reviews, Pocono Mobile Home Park presents itself as a relatively quiet community where neighbors generally respect each other's space. Some residents have highlighted instances of neighborly support, indicating a sense of community spirit when help is needed. This can be a significant advantage for those seeking a peaceful and supportive long-term living situation.
However, it is important to be aware of certain infrastructure aspects of the park. Multiple reviews mention significant issues with the roads within the property, describing them as having major potholes and being in poor condition. This is a factor to consider for the comfort and maintenance of your vehicle. Additionally, some reviews note that road maintenance, such as plowing in winter, may not be consistently performed.
Another point to note is the reported lack of an on-site office or designated management presence on the property. This might mean that immediate assistance or information may not always be readily available. Prospective residents should consider how this might affect their needs and expectations for park management.
In terms of the surrounding environment, Pocono Mobile Home Park benefits from its location in the Wilkes-Barre area, offering access to the natural beauty of the Pocono Mountains region. While the park itself may not boast extensive amenities, its location provides opportunities for outdoor recreation, including hiking, fishing, and exploring the scenic landscapes that the Poconos are known for. The tranquility of the area can be a significant draw for those seeking a quieter lifestyle away from the hustle and bustle of more urban environments.
It's worth noting that one review mentions that the name of the park has changed. While the current name is Pocono Mobile Home Park, it might be beneficial to inquire about any previous names to ensure you are gathering the most accurate and up-to-date information. Additionally, the presence of stray cats in the park has been mentioned, which may be a consideration for individuals with allergies or pets.
Regarding services and features, the available information does not explicitly detail specific amenities offered within the park. Unlike some RV parks that cater to short-term stays and offer facilities like clubhouses, laundry rooms, or organized activities, Pocono Mobile Home Park appears to be more focused on long-term residential living. The absence of a bus stop directly serving the park and the lack of street signs within the property are also mentioned in reviews, which could impact accessibility and navigation for some residents.
Promotional information is not explicitly available in the provided data. However, for local users searching for "RV parks near me" or long-term mobile home living options, Pocono Mobile Home Park presents a potentially affordable and quiet residential setting in the Wilkes-Barre area. Pocono Mobile Home Park Reviews
I have a friend that lives here, so I've been here pretty often over the last couple of years. I can say the neighbors tend to keep to themselves until someone needs help. I was having car trouble and having a hard time figuring it out and a few neighbors came out to try and lend a hand. The only reason I gave only 3 stars is because the roads here are atrocious!! The potholes are huge, it's like driving through a minefield.
Sep 03, 2023 · Diana CookeQuiet place. Roads are not plowed or fixed. Major potholes. No office. No one in charge on property. Neighbors stay to themselves. No bus stop. No street signs. Lots of stray cats. Name has changed.

Mar 23, 2019 · Raul Maldonado (BottomBoy34ga)The roads are full of potholes, but some of the trailers are nice but others not so nice. A lot of the yards are kept up with and groomed and others not groomed.
