I love this place. Covered jacuzzi, nice management no nosy neighbors. Everyone is friendly no snobs. I love my house inside and out. WiFi used to be a problem but not anymore thank god. 2 cons: Strict pool rules and Water gets shut off from time to time but they let you know ahead of time. Plus it’s only for a few hours. I pay around $2800 for 1800sf that’s a steal for nice weather. I’ve lived here 1.5 yrs happy. Jesus loves you god bless. 💯 - Liz

El Dorado Estates Introduce

If you are searching for "mobile home park near me" in the Fillmore, California area, El Dorado Estates, located at 250 E Telegraph Rd #15, Fillmore, CA 93015, USA, presents a community with a range of experiences reported by its residents. You can contact them at (805) 524-1300 or +1 805-524-1300 for inquiries and further details.

Based on the available customer reviews, El Dorado Estates evokes contrasting opinions from its residents. One reviewer expresses a strong positive sentiment, stating, "I love this place. Covered jacuzzi, nice management no nosy neighbors. Everyone is friendly no snobs. I love my house inside and out. WiFi used to be a problem but not anymore thank god." This feedback highlights several appealing aspects of the community, including the presence of a covered jacuzzi, which is a desirable amenity for relaxation and social interaction. The reviewer also praises the management as "nice" and appreciates the absence of "nosy neighbors" and the friendly, non-snobbish atmosphere among the residents, suggesting a positive social environment within the park. The resolution of a previous WiFi issue is also noted as a significant improvement.

This positive reviewer also mentions two cons: "Strict pool rules and Water gets shut off from time to time but they let you know ahead of time. Plus it’s only for a few hours." While acknowledging these drawbacks, the reviewer seems to find them manageable, especially considering the perceived value: "I pay around $2800 for 1800sf that’s a steal for nice weather. I’ve lived here 1.5 yrs happy. Jesus loves you god bless. 💯" This suggests that for some, the affordability relative to the living space and the pleasant weather outweigh the inconveniences of the pool rules and occasional, albeit pre-announced, water shut-offs.

However, another long-term resident of 15 years paints a significantly different and highly critical picture of El Dorado Estates. This reviewer strongly advises against moving into the park, stating, "Think twice before you move into this place Right now we have no water and it's time to go to work so I have to go to work without being able to take a shower." This immediate and pressing issue of a water outage at an inconvenient time underscores a potentially significant infrastructure problem within the community. The reviewer further elaborates on the frequency of such issues: "every time the wind blows two to three times a month they turn the power off I have lost hundreds of dollars worth of food due to the power outages in this park." The repeated occurrence of power outages, allegedly linked to wind, and the resulting financial losses due to spoiled food, are serious concerns for residents' comfort and well-being.

The long-term resident's negative assessment extends beyond these specific infrastructure problems, describing the park in harsh terms: "this park is literally a third world subpar in so many ways and they're bringing in new new coaches for unsuspecting people who are going to spend $300,000 and then live in a third world community Go ahead make the biggest mistake of your life and buy a coach in this hell hole Go ahead Don't say you weren't warned. I'm a 15-year resident in this hell hole and I'm going to be getting out of here as soon as I can sell." This passionate and strongly worded condemnation of the park as a "third world subpar" community, despite the introduction of new mobile homes ("new coaches"), raises significant red flags for potential buyers or renters. The long-term resident's urgency to leave after 15 years further emphasizes the depth of their dissatisfaction.

Considering these starkly contrasting reviews, it is challenging to form a definitive objective assessment of El Dorado Estates. The positive review highlights a friendly community with nice management and desirable amenities like a covered jacuzzi, while acknowledging minor inconveniences. On the other hand, the negative review from a long-term resident points to potentially severe infrastructure issues, particularly regarding water and power outages, and a deeply negative perception of the overall living conditions. The introduction of new, expensive mobile homes into a community described as having "third world" qualities by a long-term resident also presents a perplexing contradiction.

Given this conflicting information, prospective residents searching for a "mobile home park near me" in Fillmore should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering El Dorado Estates. It would be crucial to inquire specifically with the management about the frequency and duration of water and power outages, as well as the measures being taken to address these infrastructure concerns. Speaking with multiple current residents, if possible, to gain a broader range of perspectives on the community's living conditions, management responsiveness, and overall satisfaction levels would also be highly advisable.

The positive reviewer's mention of "strict pool rules" is a minor point but indicates that potential residents should inquire about the specific regulations governing the use of the pool facilities. Similarly, while WiFi is reported to have improved, it might be worth verifying the current reliability and cost of internet services within the park.

The significant discrepancy in the experiences reported by the two reviewers suggests that there may be varying levels of satisfaction among residents, possibly influenced by factors such as the location of their lot within the park, their tolerance for the reported issues, or changes in management or infrastructure over time. The long-term resident's strong negative sentiment, however, should not be dismissed lightly.

In conclusion, El Dorado Estates in Fillmore, CA, appears to be a mobile home park with both potential attractions, such as a friendly community and amenities like a covered jacuzzi, and significant drawbacks, including reported frequent water and power outages and a severely negative assessment from a long-term resident regarding the park's infrastructure and overall quality of life. Prospective residents should carefully weigh these conflicting accounts and conduct thorough personal investigation, including direct communication with the management and current residents, to determine if El Dorado Estates is a suitable living option for their needs and expectations. The stark contrast in the provided reviews underscores the importance of looking beyond superficial positives and delving into potential underlying issues before making a decision.
