Anacapa Mobile Home Park Introduce
If you are searching for a "mobile home park near me" in the Santa Paula, California area, Anacapa Mobile Home Park, located at 720 W Santa Maria St #21, Santa Paula, CA 93060, USA, offers a community with notable aspects. You can reach them at (805) 525-4612 or +1 805-525-4612 for inquiries and further details.
Based on the available customer reviews, Anacapa Mobile Home Park presents a generally clean environment. One reviewer notes, "For the most part it's clean doesn't smell like dog s***," indicating a focus on maintaining a sanitary living space for its residents. This is a significant positive aspect for those prioritizing cleanliness and a pleasant atmosphere in their residential community.
The infrastructure within the park also receives positive feedback. The same reviewer mentions, "when you're driving inside the roads are perfect well marked and well maintained with fresh paint and new reflectors." This suggests that the management prioritizes the upkeep of the internal roadways, ensuring a smooth and safe driving experience for residents and visitors. The attention to detail, such as fresh paint and new reflectors, indicates a commitment to maintaining the park's overall appearance and safety.
The swimming pool area is another aspect that is highlighted positively. The reviewer states, "The swimming pool area is always clean and the pool looks very well maintained." This suggests that the pool is a well-cared-for amenity, providing a clean and inviting space for residents to relax and enjoy. However, the reviewer also humorously notes a specific rule: "Same stupid rules though if your hair is below your ears you must wear a cap." While this is a minor point, it indicates that there are specific regulations governing the use of the pool facilities.
However, another long-term resident who has lived in the park for 16 years provides a more comprehensive perspective on the community's amenities and management. This reviewer points out a significant limitation regarding the swimming pool: "Park has never heated pool, claiming there is a solar panel on club house roof, which is inadequate. Too cold for seniors." This suggests that the lack of a consistently heated pool might be a drawback, particularly for elderly residents who may prefer warmer water temperatures for comfort and therapeutic benefits. The mention of an inadequate solar panel system implies that this issue has been a long-standing concern.
In terms of social activities within the park, the long-term resident notes, "No activities except coffee once a month." This indicates a limited schedule of organized events for residents, which might be a consideration for those seeking a more active social calendar within their community. The availability of only a monthly coffee gathering suggests that opportunities for regular social interaction and engagement may be limited.
The clubhouse facility is also mentioned, with the reviewer stating, "Clubhouse can be used by appointment." This suggests that while a communal space exists, its use is restricted and requires prior arrangement, potentially limiting spontaneous access for residents. This could impact the clubhouse's role as a central hub for social activities and gatherings.
The long-term resident acknowledges some positive improvements, particularly in the front of the park: "Much improvement has been done in front of park by managers." This indicates that the current management has been proactive in enhancing the curb appeal and overall appearance of the entrance area, which can contribute to a positive first impression of the community.
However, the reviewer also points out an area needing attention: "Back of park needs to have homeowners spruce up their spaces." This suggests that while the management has focused on the front of the park, some individual lots in the back might benefit from homeowner maintenance to improve the overall aesthetic consistency of the community.
Financial considerations are also raised by the long-term resident, who states, "Not looking forward to next rent raise. New owner was awarded 12 percent rent control by city 5 years ago. Raise due in 2018." This provides insight into the park's ownership history and rent control regulations, indicating that residents have experienced and anticipate future rent increases. While this review is from a few years ago, the mention of rent control and potential raises is relevant information for prospective long-term residents to consider.
Despite some of the concerns, the long-term resident also notes positive efforts by the current stakeholders: "Owner and current managers have worked hard to make the park a better place." This acknowledges the dedication of the owner and managers to the ongoing improvement of Anacapa Mobile Home Park.
Finally, the long-term resident offers a suggestion for enhancing the community: "Suggestion would be some exercise equipment for clubhouse." This indicates a desire for more amenities that could promote the health and well-being of the residents, particularly seniors who might benefit from accessible exercise options.
In conclusion, Anacapa Mobile Home Park in Santa Paula offers a generally clean and well-maintained environment, particularly regarding its internal roads and swimming pool area. The management is acknowledged for making improvements, especially in the front of the park. However, potential residents should be aware of the limitations such as the unheated pool, the limited social activities, the restricted access to the clubhouse, and the potential for rent increases. The suggestion for exercise equipment in the clubhouse indicates a potential area for future improvement. For those seeking a "mobile home park near me" in Santa Paula, Anacapa Mobile Home Park presents a community with both positive attributes and areas where improvements could enhance the living experience. It is recommended that interested individuals contact the park management directly to inquire about current amenities, activities, and any other concerns they may have to determine if Anacapa Mobile Home Park meets their specific needs and preferences.
