Camarillo Mobile Estates Introduce
For those seeking "RV parks near me" in the Camarillo, California area, Camarillo Mobile Estates, located at 1150 Ventura Blvd, Camarillo, CA 93010, USA, presents a well-established and highly-regarded mobile home park that may offer opportunities for longer-term RV stays. Based on the enthusiastic testimonials from long-term residents, Camarillo Mobile Estates appears to be a safe, friendly, and well-managed community with a range of amenities and a strong sense of community spirit. Its proximity to both the Camarillo Airport and the beach adds to its appeal for those seeking a convenient and desirable location in Ventura County.
One long-term resident of 22 years shared an overwhelmingly positive experience at what they initially refer to as "Lamplighter Mobile Estates" (presumably a former name or a familiar term for the park). This resident emphasizes feeling "safe" within the community and describes most people as "very friendly." These are crucial aspects for anyone considering a new place to live, whether in a mobile home or an RV, as they contribute significantly to the overall quality of life and sense of belonging.
The management at Camarillo Mobile Estates receives high praise from this long-term resident, who describes them as "very helpful and on top of issues." While acknowledging that some maintenance matters may take time due to the need to order parts, the overall impression is of a responsive and proactive management team. This is essential for addressing residents' concerns and ensuring the smooth operation of the park.
Beyond the basic amenities typically found in mobile home and RV parks, such as a "club house, pool and spa," Camarillo Mobile Estates appears to foster a strong sense of community through various initiatives. The resident mentions that the park has "a lot of things for the residents," specifically highlighting a "Christmas dinner for all residents." This type of community event indicates a management that goes beyond basic services to create opportunities for social interaction and a sense of camaraderie among residents.
The park also demonstrates a commitment to maintaining the environment by providing "large dumpsters for us to clean up our junk." This proactive approach to waste management benefits all residents and contributes to a cleaner and more pleasant living environment.
Parking is addressed in detail by the long-term resident, who acknowledges that it "is a problem for some." However, they provide important context, stating that residents are "advised of the parking when we first move in" and that the expectation is to park on one's own driveway. The resident defends the management's enforcement of "no street parking," explaining that it had become "out of control" and even posed a safety hazard for emergency vehicles like ambulances, especially given the "narrow streets." The resident notes that three notices were given before the enforcement began and that the streets are now clearly marked with "fire lanes for everyone's safety." This detailed explanation suggests that while parking might be limited to driveways, this policy is in place for safety and was communicated to residents.
The long-term resident also identifies themselves as the "clubhouse monitor" but clarifies that this role does not exempt them from park rules or provide additional benefits. This transparency further underscores the sense of fairness and community within Camarillo Mobile Estates.
The concluding remarks from this resident are overwhelmingly positive, stating, "It is a wonderful place to live. 99% of the residents would tell you that." This strong endorsement speaks volumes about the overall satisfaction and positive living experience within Camarillo Mobile Estates.
Another brief review describes Camarillo Mobile Estates as a "Beautiful mobile home park close to camarillo airport and the beach." This reiterates the park's attractive location, offering proximity to both travel infrastructure and recreational amenities. The nearness to the Camarillo Airport could be convenient for those who travel frequently, while the proximity to the beach offers leisure opportunities and a desirable coastal lifestyle.
For individuals considering Camarillo Mobile Estates as a potential "RV park near me," it is crucial to contact them directly at (805) 482-0022 or +1 805-482-0022 to inquire about their policies regarding RVs. While the reviews focus on mobile home living, many well-established mobile home parks also accommodate RVs for longer stays. When you call, be sure to ask about the availability of RV sites, the types of utility hookups provided (water, electricity, sewer), the size and layout of the sites to ensure they can accommodate your RV, and the rental rates for both short-term and long-term stays.
Given the positive mentions of amenities like the clubhouse, pool, and spa, inquire if these facilities are also available to RV residents. Understanding the rules regarding parking for RVs and any additional vehicles is also essential, especially in light of the park's driveway-only parking policy for mobile homes. Clarify if there are designated guest parking areas for RV visitors.
Furthermore, ask about the general environment of the park, the sense of community, and any specific rules or regulations that might apply to RV residents. The mention of community events like the Christmas dinner suggests a welcoming and engaged resident population. Inquire about other social activities or amenities that might enhance your living experience.
The proximity to the Camarillo Airport and the beach are significant locational advantages. Ask about the ease of access to these areas and any potential noise concerns related to the airport, although the positive reviews do not mention this as a problem.
In conclusion, Camarillo Mobile Estates appears to be a well-regarded mobile home park with a strong sense of community, helpful management, and desirable amenities. Its proximity to the Camarillo Airport and the beach adds to its appeal. For those seeking "RV parks near me" in the Camarillo area, contacting the park directly to inquire about their RV accommodations and policies is the crucial next step to determine if it aligns with your specific needs and preferences for a comfortable and community-oriented RV living experience in a prime location.

Camarillo Mobile Estates Reviews
I have lived at Lamplighter Mobile Estates for 22 years. I love it. I feel safe. Most people are very friendly. The management is very helpful and on top of issues. Some things take time as parts have to be ordered. Patience is a virtue. They have a lot of things for the residents besides the amenities like club house, pool and spa etc. They have a Christmas dinner for all residents. They currently have large dumpsters for us to clean up our junk. Yes parking is a problem for some. But we are advised of the parking when we first move in. You cannot expect to park anywhere but on your driveway. It is not the managements fault if you own 5 cars. There are parking permits given out at the first of the month. I am glad they enforce the no street parking. It was out of control. My husband was very ill and I had to pray every time I called the ambulance that they would be able to park in front of my house. They are narrow streets. We were given 3 notices before they started to enforce the no street parking. They have very clearly painted the streets with fire lanes for everyone's safety.A note: I am the clubhouse monitor. I lock it up every night. That does not make me exempt from any rules nor does it give me benefits. I have only been the club house monitor for a couple of years and as I said I have lived here for 22 years. It is a wonderful place to live. 99% of the residents would tell you that.
