Casa Del Norte Mobile Home Community Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Camarillo, California area, and are particularly interested in a tranquil and well-managed 55+ senior community, Casa Del Norte Mobile Home Community, located at 4388 Central Ave, Camarillo, CA 93010, USA, presents an appealing option. You can reach them at (805) 485-5556 or their mobile number +1 805-485-5556 for inquiries about long-term residency options that might accommodate RVs within their community framework, although the primary focus appears to be on mobile homes.
Based on the available customer reviews, Casa Del Norte Mobile Home Community is highly regarded for its peaceful and therapeutic environment. One future resident, who is planning to move in soon on a month-to-month rental basis, expressed significant positive impressions of the park's quiet ambiance and effective management. This suggests a serene living atmosphere that could be particularly attractive to seniors seeking a calm and relaxing environment as they look for "RV parks near me" offering long-term mobile home options.
The management of Casa Del Norte is consistently praised for being well-organized and for respecting the privacy of residents, as one reviewer noted that they "do not get into your business." This hands-off yet responsible management style can contribute to a comfortable and independent living experience. Furthermore, while the park does not have traditional rent control, it employs a "rent review" process aimed at maintaining affordability for its residents. This suggests a proactive approach to managing rent increases, which could be a significant benefit for those considering a long-term stay in their RV or a mobile home within the community.
A notable feature of Casa Del Norte is its pet-friendly policy, allowing residents to walk their dogs within the development. This is a significant advantage for pet owners seeking "RV parks near me" or mobile home communities that understand the importance of allowing pets to enjoy the living environment. The welcoming attitude towards pets can greatly enhance the quality of life for many potential residents.
The physical layout and upkeep of Casa Del Norte also receive positive feedback. Most of the homes in the park were built in the 1970s and are reported to be well-maintained, indicating a community where residents take pride in their properties. The lots are described as spacious, with many corner spots offering double-wide spaces. This larger lot size can provide more room for residents, potentially including space for parking an RV if long-term RV living is permitted within the community guidelines.
While primarily a 55+ community with a focus on homeowners, Casa Del Norte has recently started renting some of the homes. However, due to the age restriction, this transition has reportedly not caused any issues, suggesting a continued focus on maintaining a compatible living environment for senior residents. The management also conducts yearly inspections of the exterior of the mobile homes to ensure adherence to safety standards (fire safety) and property upkeep, preventing hoarding and maintaining the overall appearance of the community. This proactive approach to community standards contributes to a well-maintained and safe living environment.
Despite the numerous positive aspects, the reviews also mention a few potential drawbacks to consider. The proximity of agricultural fields can result in occasional spraying and the disturbances of constant planting or digging up. Additionally, the noise from planes using the nearby Camarillo Airport and the traffic noise from the freeway are noted as potential environmental nuisances. Finally, the park still allows homeowners to smoke, which might be a concern for non-smokers sensitive to environmental tobacco smoke.
For individuals seeking "RV parks near me" for long-term stays, Casa Del Norte Mobile Home Community presents a compelling option due to its quiet environment, responsible management, pet-friendly policies, and well-maintained properties within a 55+ setting. The larger lot sizes might potentially accommodate RVs for long-term living, although this would need to be confirmed with the management. The rent review process also suggests a commitment to affordability over time.
However, it is crucial to weigh these benefits against the potential drawbacks of noise from agricultural activities, airplanes, and the freeway, as well as the allowance of smoking within the community. Visiting the park at different times of the day and week could help assess the impact of these environmental factors.
To determine if Casa Del Norte Mobile Home Community is the right fit for your long-term living needs, especially if you plan to reside in an RV (if permitted), it is recommended to contact the management directly to inquire about:
- Their policies on long-term RV stays, including any restrictions on RV age or size.
- The availability and type of hookups for RVs (water, electricity, sewer).
- The monthly or long-term rates for RV spaces.
- The specific amenities and services available to residents, including pet regulations and any community facilities.
- Further details about the rent review process and typical rent adjustments.
- Information regarding the potential noise levels from agriculture, the airport, and the freeway.
- The community's rules regarding smoking.
In conclusion, Casa Del Norte Mobile Home Community offers a well-regarded 55+ living environment in Camarillo, characterized by its tranquility, effective management, pet-friendliness, and commitment to maintaining property standards. For those seeking "RV parks near me" for long-term stays who value these qualities and are willing to consider a mobile home community setting, Casa Del Norte warrants further investigation, with specific inquiries made regarding their policies on RV residency and the potential environmental factors mentioned in the reviews.

Casa Del Norte Mobile Home Community Reviews
We are going to move in soon. Renting month to month. So impressed by how quiet and therapeutic it is. It is also well managed. It doesn't have rent control but has rent review to keep park rent affordable.
Aug 26, 2019 · Patricia TOverall, the park is well maintained and the management does not get into your business. What I like best is that you can walk your dog INSIDE the development. Most of the homes are from the 1970's and well maintained. The lots are bigger with most of the corner spots being two spaces wide. They just started renting some of the homes but since it's a 55+ community, there hasn't been a problem. The management also does yearly inspections of the outside of the mobile home to make sure people are not hoarding, for fire safety, to make sure they are keeping up their property. The only negatives I can think of is the agricultural fields with their spraying and constant planting or digging up; the planes from the Camarillo Airport; and the noise from the freeway, and that they still allow homeowners to smoke.
