Jackson, MN KOA Journey Reviews
Arrived to find out the pool was completely green and closed, due to being shocked. This was our main reason for choosing this location, pools can be a lot of work but you should be able to keep on top of if it is an amenity you offer. The grill in the common area did not work properly, ended up cooking our burgers and hot dogs in the microwave in the laundry room, laundry facility was very clean, but one washer and dryer were out of service and only one dryer got hot enough to dry the clothes on one cycle. We did have fun at the playground, and they did offer balls/horseshoes and bags, although it was so hot during our stay we didn’t use them much. Clean showers and nice lobby. Most of the workers weren’t kind and lacked basic customer service skills.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and the other patrons were kind and considerate of each other. The pavilion is beautiful and the staff showed a video on the big screen (and made popcorn!) for the kids one night. We didn’t use the laundry facilities, but it was clean and appeared to be well maintained. The bathrooms were impressive; clean, everything in working condition, spacious showers, even cute decorations. We’ll definitely be back!
Jul 15, 2024 · Christina KoehnWe stayed here for the 2024 season. We are travel healthcare workers so stay in our RV fulltime which makes finding a great RV park important for us. Melissa and Albert went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Very clean facilities and camp sites, a cute little gift shop on site, nice pool and games as well. They’ve only owned this campground for a year and were actively making improvements while we were there so I have no doubt it’ll just continue to get better. We definitely would stay there again if we are in the area.
Oct 15, 2024 · Kristina DThe typical high standards were upheld here. The KOA’s have been amazing on this journey. We arrived after hours - they had all set up. A perfect site for the night then off the next morning. We used the dog park which is spectacular- all grass - well groomed and clean. Plenty of room for our dog the exercise. Thank you KOA.
Sep 13, 2024 · Gary RoseVery well maintained KOA. The showers and bathrooms were kept clean above average and what I am used to see. I really liked the music in the bathroom/shower. You can see that this KOA is well maintained. We were welcomed with a special camping quote after hour. Recommend this stop
