Embrace the Natural Environment: The standout feature of Caven's Landing is its prime location directly by a beautiful lake. Imagine waking up to serene water views, the gentle sounds of nature, and the opportunity for lakeside recreation right at your doorstep. The presence of docks invites those who enjoy fishing or simply relaxing by the water's edge. For the more adventurous, the campground offers kayaks and bikes for rent at a reasonable fee, allowing you to explore the lake and its surroundings at your own pace. Whether you're paddling across the calm waters or cycling along nearby trails, the natural beauty of the area is sure to captivate you.
Essential Services and Amenities: Despite its rustic feel, Caven's Landing provides full hookup sites, a significant advantage for RV campers. This means you'll have access to water, electricity, and sewer connections, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay. According to visitor feedback, the utilities are well-placed within the sites. This thoughtful arrangement contributes to a hassle-free setup and allows you to enjoy the comforts of your RV while immersed in nature.
Site Features and Considerations: It's worth noting, as highlighted by previous guests, that the campsites are arranged at a right angle to the road and are relatively close together. Maneuvering larger RVs, such as a 30' fifth wheel mentioned in a review, is manageable but requires good backing skills. Therefore, if you're traveling with a larger rig, confidence in your maneuvering abilities will be beneficial. While the sites are described as not being the easiest to get into, they are also noted to be quite spacious once you're settled. One recurring piece of feedback suggests that adding rock to the driveway would improve the area, especially during rainy conditions, by reducing messiness.
A Focus on the Experience: What truly sets Caven's Landing apart is its emphasis on the overall camping experience. The "rustic charm," as described by a delighted visitor, seems to be a significant draw for those seeking a more authentic connection with nature. The availability of recreational equipment like kayaks and bikes adds another layer of enjoyment, encouraging outdoor activity and exploration without the need to bring your own gear. The reasonable fee for these amenities makes them accessible to all campers.
Why Choose Caven's Landing? If you're a local user searching for "camping near me" and value a lakeside location with essential amenities, Caven's Landing is a strong contender. It offers a unique blend of:
- Lakeside Access: Enjoy the beauty and recreational opportunities of a pretty lake.
- Full Hookups: Convenience for RV campers with water, electricity, and sewer connections.
- Recreational Activities: Kayaks and bikes available for rent, encouraging exploration and fun.
- Rustic Charm: A more natural and less manicured camping environment for those seeking an authentic outdoor experience.
- Spacious Sites: Once parked, the sites offer ample room for you and your setup.
While some maneuvering challenges for larger RVs and potential for muddy conditions during rain are aspects to consider, the overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the location, amenities, and overall experience suggests that Caven's Landing is a beloved spot for many.
Promotional Information (Based on Reviews): While Caven's Landing doesn't seem to have specific promotional offers mentioned in the provided reviews, the positive word-of-mouth speaks volumes. The fact that repeat visitors "loved it" and "will definitely come back" is a strong testament to the quality of the campground and the experience it offers. The reasonable fees for equipment rental also add value to your stay, making it an affordable option for enjoying lakeside activities.

Caven's Landing Reviews
This is a very rustic place, but for us, that adds to the charm. The sites are full hookups and the utilities are very well placed. The sites are close together and at a right angle to the road with not a lot of room to maneuver, so you will want to bring your backing skills. We have a 30' fifth wheel and had no problems getting into a site.It is located on a very pretty lake with docks, kayaks, bikes etc. for use. There's a small very reasonable fee for the use of the equipment. If we end up here again, this is most definitely where we will stay. We loved it!
Oct 09, 2022 · Jamey TollefsonWe stayed here back in May/June 2021. We love that it's right by the lake. The spots are not the easiest to get into, but they are pretty spacious. It would be nice if the driveway had rock so it wouldn't get so messy when it rains. We will definitely come back!
Aug 11, 2023 · Adventures with BCSmall campground on a beautiful lake, only a few spots lakeside with lots of trees. We had a full hook-up and the best water on our trip from a new certified well. We filled our RV holding tank. Very quiet and they even had a kayak and fishing poles we were welcome to use. There were several RV’s more permanent, probably as a summer place on the lake.
Sep 30, 2024 · Eileen FahlgrenBeautiful place to stay! All spots have lake views. We were lucky to find campsites fairly late notice for the holiday weekend. Only downside is there aren't showers or real bathrooms, but a portapotty is on site which is nice. Sites have full hook ups and nice big yards. There is also a boat landing on site and multiple docks.
May 30, 2021 · Erin StearnsBeautiful and quiet campground. GREAT FISHING. Jim is great to work with and made staying here easy. The thing I liked best was that it was not crowded!
