Elm Grove Estates & RV Community Introduce
For local residents and those seeking "RV parks near me" or a mobile home community in Killeen, Texas, Elm Grove Estates & RV Community presents a mixed but overall positive picture of a well-located and community-oriented living space. Situated at 1704 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, this combined RV and mobile home park offers a range of features and services, making it a noteworthy option for both short-term RV stays and long-term residency. While one review highlights cleanliness issues within the clubhouse, the more recent feedback emphasizes the positive impact of new management, the strong sense of community, and the availability of various amenities.
Environment and Grounds: Elm Grove Estates & RV Community is described as an "average RV/Mobile home park" that makes an effort to maintain clean grounds. According to one visitor, the park strives to keep the yards tidy, which contributes to a more pleasant overall environment. The presence of "shade trees galore" is a significant advantage, providing much-needed relief from the Texas heat and creating a more comfortable and inviting atmosphere throughout the park. These mature trees not only enhance the aesthetic appeal but also offer valuable shade for RV sites and common areas, making outdoor activities more enjoyable.
Community Clubhouse: The park features a clubhouse that serves as a central gathering space for residents and guests. One review details the experience of using the clubhouse for a gathering, noting its spaciousness and comfortable seating. The clubhouse is equipped with a "little full kitchen" and separate "his and hers bathrooms," making it well-suited for events and social functions. However, this same review also raises concerns about the cleanliness of the clubhouse, specifically mentioning significant dust, debris, and even live and dead bugs found on and under the furniture. This discrepancy in cleanliness reports suggests that while the facility itself is well-equipped, its upkeep may have been inconsistent at times, although the positive changes in management might have addressed these issues.
Amenities and Features: Recent feedback from a long-term resident paints a more positive picture of the amenities offered at Elm Grove Estates & RV Community. The park boasts a "beautifully-kept pool," which is undoubtedly a major draw for residents, especially during the hot Texas summers. A playground is available, making it a family-friendly environment for those with children. Additionally, there is a "park with tables and basketball area," providing further opportunities for outdoor recreation and social interaction. The inclusion of garbage removal in the lot rent is a convenient service for residents. These amenities contribute to a well-rounded living experience within the community.
Sense of Community and Management: A significant highlight of Elm Grove Estates & RV Community, particularly under the new management, is the strong sense of community. Residents describe having "great, quiet neighbors," fostering a peaceful and friendly environment. The new management, which has been in place for a few years according to one long-term resident, is praised as "hands down the best ever." The managers, Matilda and Don, are described as "respectful, supportive, and listen to concerns," and importantly, they "take action when needed." Another staff member, Evelyn, is highlighted for being "helpful, efficient, and one of the nicest women I know." This positive feedback regarding the management's responsiveness and care for the residents suggests a well-run and supportive community.
The park actively fosters community engagement through various initiatives. Events such as "bingo, potluck dinners, and community-wide yard sales" are organized, which help residents connect and build relationships. Important information, updates, and even humor are disseminated through a "printed monthly newsletter and Facebook page," ensuring that residents stay informed and feel connected to the community. This proactive approach to communication and community building is a significant asset of Elm Grove Estates & RV Community.
Safety and Security: For those considering a move or a long-term RV stay, safety is a crucial factor. One long-term resident explicitly mentions that Elm Grove Estates & RV Community is a "quiet neighborhood with very low crime statistics," stating that they have "checked crime maps" to verify this. This assurance of a safe and secure living environment adds significant value to the park and provides peace of mind for its residents.
Pricing and Value: The cost of living at Elm Grove Estates & RV Community is described as "not bad," suggesting that it offers reasonable pricing for the amenities and services provided. While specific rates for RV spots or mobile home lots are not mentioned, the positive comment on the price indicates that it is considered fair by at least one long-term resident, especially when factoring in the included garbage removal and the range of amenities available.
Considerations for RVers: While the information provided focuses on the community as a whole, including mobile home residents, the mention of it being an "RV/Mobile home park" indicates that RV spots are available. The clean grounds, shade trees, pool, playground, and access to the clubhouse (despite the cleanliness concern raised in one older review) make it a potentially suitable option for those seeking "RV parks near me" in Killeen. The quiet atmosphere and the sense of community could be particularly appealing for longer-term RV stays.
Promotional Information: Currently, the provided reviews do not contain any specific promotional offers or discounts for Elm Grove Estates & RV Community. However, the positive testimonials, particularly regarding the new management, the sense of community, and the amenities, serve as strong indirect promotion. The emphasis on a quiet and safe neighborhood, coupled with the active community events and effective communication, makes it an attractive option for those seeking a welcoming and well-managed RV or mobile home community in Killeen. To inquire about current rates, availability, and any potential move-in specials or long-term stay discounts, it is recommended to contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers: (254) 690-3838 or mobile phone +1 254-690-3838.
In conclusion, Elm Grove Estates & RV Community offers a blend of positive attributes for those seeking "RV parks near me" or a mobile home in Killeen, Texas. The park benefits from clean grounds, ample shade, a well-equipped clubhouse, a pool, playground, and a strong sense of community fostered by proactive management and regular events. While there was a past concern regarding clubhouse cleanliness, the overwhelmingly positive feedback about the new management suggests improvements in this area may have been made. Elm Grove Estates & RV Community Reviews
Elm Grove is your average RV/Mobile home park. They do try to keep the grounds clean, and you do not see a bunch of stuff in the yards. We have a friend that lives there and we had a gathering in the club house. We went the night before to set up the place. It is very roomy with a lot of comfortable seating. It has a little full kitchen and a his and hers bathrooms. We are very glad we went the night before. It was not clean. They do charge residence a deposit, which is a pretty good chunk of money. We moved the couch, and there was stuff that had been there for a long time. lt was pretty disgusting. So we moved everything to clean. Every bit of furniture you moved had live and dead bugs, trash, and old food. We sure hope the Mgr. Thanked our friend for leaving it so clean. The gathering was a blast, and everyone had a really good time.

May 04, 2022 · Theresa ShawEvelyn was very nice to deal with when it came to office concerns. We lived here a little over a year and it was always quiet and we had no issues. It always felt safe compared to most of Killeen. The price was good for rv lot prices. The location is fast to get to the highway. Would definitely recommend to friends and family looking for a good neighborhood!
Oct 12, 2024 · Celie Rourks*Update to original review*The pool was closed, in peak season, all but 3 times I went. It was closed soo often that we would walk over to ensure access prior to transporting our belongings. The chlorine was excessive. Our bloodshot eyes bore testament to this fact. The RV manager, Evelyn, was less than friendly and difficult to work with. She was very scatter-brained and didn't take issue with borderline harassing residents about trivial matters, including supervised children of residents accessing the pool.In one instance, I required proof of residency. Instead of producing it, Evelyn informed me I was not on the lease. If I wasn't on the lease I should not have been required to fill out my personal banking information, as well as have a background check, which I paid the office for, conducted on my person.I'm not sure what she thought I required it for, but she proceeded to pull my partner's file and declared how long he had been a resident. (now my fiance)I told her I failed to see the relevance. She inquired what it was for. It was for my driver's license to be updated, which was none of her business, nor was my financial information, which she insisted I fill out and later admitted it was unnecessary. The sentiment that Evelyn is unkind to women, in particular, seemed to be the prevalent mindset. We ended up moving to more of a resort locale where we didn't have to deal with the pettiness. As for safety, my cat of 7 years was stolen, as were other multiple residents' cats. Some of the children there have been seen abusing animals and are not held responsible. Multiple other cats have disappeared there and are still missing. It has been a year since my cat was stolen and they removed missing posters from all the areas I had them posted promptly after her disappearance. I am still heartbroken. I attempted to enlist their help to no avail.*In the interest of transparency, my unaltered, Original post on first appearancesunattended,What a well managed, upkept, safe place in Killeen. The office staff are friendly and informative. They put out a monthly newsletter to keep tenants informed.Lovely pool and playground as well as a community building for events.Ample parking.Quiet, peaceful.
Apr 09, 2025 · Shannon O'HaraI have lived her about a year. Besides break-ins and thefts, totaling over $1,000, I am regularly experiencing people on top of my home, walking around and sleeping on my roof!. People try to open my front door or break in through my windows when I am here. The police have been called out here regularly. I do not recommend moving in here! Rental payments vary month to month. I have paid more than $200 above my initial payment agreement more than once
