Evergreen Springs Manufactured Home Community Introduce
Welcome to Evergreen Springs Manufactured Home Community, located at 229 Killingworth Turnpike, Clinton, CT 06413, USA. For those exploring "RV parks near me" or considering a manufactured home community in the Clinton, Connecticut area, Evergreen Springs offers insights into long-term residency experiences alongside concerns about costs and community regulations. You can contact them at (860) 669-5725 or +1 860-669-5725 for inquiries.
One recent review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the lot fees at Evergreen Springs. The reviewer describes these fees as "absolutely outrageous," stating that they have observed other mobile home parks in the vicinity with considerably lower costs while offering amenities such as a clubhouse and a pool. This comparison suggests that the cost of living at Evergreen Springs might be higher relative to other options in the area, and potentially without commensurate amenities.
Furthermore, this reviewer raises concerns about community rules, specifically regarding fencing. They mention being denied permission to fence a small area for their dog, citing a general prohibition on fences. However, they also note observing at least two other yards within the park that have partial or significant fencing. This inconsistency in the enforcement of community rules can be a source of frustration for residents.
The high lot fees, reportedly approaching $1000 per month, lead this reviewer to question the value proposition of living at Evergreen Springs, especially given the perceived lack of amenities comparable to lower-cost parks. They also express frustration with frequent notices from management, coupled with a lack of consideration for residents working multiple jobs who may have limited time to respond promptly.
In contrast, a long-term resident, who has lived in Evergreen Springs since 1974 and has resided in three different homes within the community while raising a family, offers a different perspective. This resident acknowledges that they have "a lot of things I can say bad about the management" but refrains from elaborating, suggesting that prospective residents should form their own opinions based on their personal experiences.
Despite any potential issues with management, this long-term resident highlights the fact that living in Evergreen Springs enabled their family to achieve significant financial milestones, including paying off three homes early during challenging economic times. They emphasize that they were always able to meet their needs and avoid eviction, suggesting a degree of stability and affordability relative to their income over the long term.
This long-term resident's experience underscores the potential for building a life and achieving financial goals while living in Evergreen Springs, despite any perceived shortcomings in management. Their impending relocation to a fully paid-off new log home in North Carolina, achieved through diligent saving and hard work while residing in the community, serves as a testament to their personal financial management rather than a direct endorsement of the park itself.
The contrasting reviews highlight the importance of considering both the financial aspects and the community regulations when evaluating Evergreen Springs. The high lot fees and restrictions on fencing reported by one reviewer are significant factors that may deter some potential residents, particularly those with pets or those seeking more amenities for their monthly expenses.
On the other hand, the long-term resident's experience suggests that for some, Evergreen Springs can provide a stable and affordable enough environment to achieve long-term financial goals, even amidst economic challenges. However, their reservation about the management implies that this stability may come with other potential drawbacks in terms of resident relations or community governance.
For individuals searching within the "RV parks near me" category, Evergreen Springs, as a manufactured home community, primarily caters to long-term residents living in manufactured homes. It is unlikely to offer the typical short-term or transient accommodations and amenities associated with traditional RV parks. Therefore, RV travelers looking for temporary stays in the Clinton, CT area would likely need to explore other options.
Prospective residents considering Evergreen Springs should carefully weigh the reported high lot fees against the potential benefits of long-term residency in the Clinton area. They should also inquire specifically about the community rules regarding fencing and other potential restrictions to ensure they align with their lifestyle and needs. It would be prudent to speak with current residents, if possible, to gain a broader understanding of the community environment and management practices.
To obtain accurate and up-to-date information, interested parties should contact Evergreen Springs directly using the provided phone numbers. They should inquire about current lot fees, the specific rules and regulations of the community, the amenities offered (if any), and the process for becoming a resident. Visiting the community in person could also provide valuable insights into the environment and overall atmosphere.
In conclusion, Evergreen Springs Manufactured Home Community in Clinton, CT, presents a mixed picture based on the available reviews. While a long-term resident highlights the possibility of achieving financial stability within the community, a more recent review expresses significant concerns about high lot fees and restrictive or inconsistently enforced community rules. Potential residents should conduct thorough due diligence to determine if Evergreen Springs meets their individual needs and financial considerations.

Evergreen Springs Manufactured Home Community Reviews
Lot fees are absolutely outrageous I’ve seen other parks in the area paying a fraction of the cost and they have a club house and a pool I ask about fencing a small area for my dog and get told no fences aren’t allowed but yet I drive through the park and see at least 2 other yards with half if not more of the yard fenced in you would think that with fees of almost $1000 a month we would be able to do something and not to mention wanting to send notice after notice but don’t take into consideration that some people don’t have the time because they have to work 2 or more jobs just to pay the outrageous fees
Mar 20, 2025 · frank SaundersI have lived in this mobile home park since 1974. While living here, we have lived in 3 different homes, and raised 3 daughters. I have a lot of things I can say bad about the management, but I will let you determine that with your own experience. If this might be a choice that will allow you to do what we have done, then why should I scare you away? So, three homes, all paid off early, and all done during tough economic times. We never starved, always had a roof over our heads, had multiple vehicles, made ends meet, and have never been evicted. Regardless of what you consider good or bad, we managed to make a living, raise a family, and as soon as I can locate a buyer, we will be relocating to The Mountains of Southwestern North Carolina, and will be living in a brand-new Log Home, which is already paid for and soon to be under construction. Paid for in cash, in this, what may be the worst economic time in the history of this country, thanks in entirely to the mismanagement by the Biden administration. In less than two years this fool has squandered a lifetime of successful administrations that improved the lives of all Americans. So, as the old saying goes, if you live right, work hard, and save, you will change your life for the better. Notwithstanding the ideocracy of the Biden administration, my family has managed to do just that. We have paid off all our debts, have paid off all our loans and car payments, paid cash for the land, the downpayment on the new Log Home, and will upon delivery pay cash for the home, and the assembly and finish work required. To anyone that might somehow purchase my home, , know that it was never easy, always hard, and always worth it!
Apr 09, 2023 · Arthur Mazeaui cannot believe i moved my mother into this place. if you want to enjoy your life, do not move here. she gets worked up to tears regularly and pays rent on time. the landlords here have no soul or compassion whatsoever.UPDATE June 24, 2020 - They tried to evict my mother during the Covid-19 outbreak. If it wasnt for my lawyer threatening to sue them, she'd have been evicted and homeless. She was one week late twice on rent, due to unemployment taking awhile (again, Covid). They do not care at all. They are literally soulless, horrible people who do not care about your wellbeing at all.
