Totoket Valley RV Park Reviews
This RV park is run by a Father & Son, and they are great, super nice and maintain the property well, and always answer the phone no matter time or day when you call. There’s a small office and laundry room. Dog friendly. I spent the last 2 1/2 months here, I’m a traveling contractor. Has full hookups, and at night you can hear crickets and frogs, pretty cool. Every site has a picnic table and clear marked out numbers on posts so it makes getting Amazon packages delivered to your camper easy. You also get a mail box located towards the front of the property for the duration of your stay. It’s safe and quiet. They have daily rates, weekly rates and even long term monthly rates! I’ve definitely enjoyed my stay here, and if I’m ever back this way for work, I’ll definitely be coming here again! Thanks for the great stay guys. 👍
Jun 08, 2024 · Tyler RomensJust what we expected. We were delighted to find an affordable spot with full hook ups just off I-95. It was very hot and we needed AC. When we called they were very clear that it’s not a “campground” and most of the sites were occupied by longer term residents. We were greeted warmly, assisted in finding our spot (8) and were told we could keep our truck hitched to the trailer if desired since it was a 1 night stay.Electric was great, our AC stayed cool, and it was very quiet overnight.Overall very happy. We’ll likely be back, since we have family in the area and could use this as a base for a longer stay.
Jun 22, 2024 · Sparklers From_NJState RV park is a great little year round RV park. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They gave us time to get all set up before even worrying about payment. When we decided to stay an extra week they accommodate our stay with no issues. There is a nice little spot for dogs to do their business and a nice laundry area. They do not offer showers. And they are not the cheapest place. But definitely quiet and safe
Jan 27, 2024 · Jason BallouOkay just so you guys know that this place is not a resort. However a parking lot, and a safe one at that! Which if you are looking for a safe place to park with amenities then this is it! Just know that you do have to pay cash/ check. Anyways we loved it and if we ever stay in the New Haven county area we’d definitely look into staying here. P.S. I should also let you know that there’s this loud chirping noise right before/ after it rains at night, I guess I’ve been stuck in the city to long because I thought it was a car but it was just bugs making noise unison LOL. But that’s expected from the outdoors! So we loved it.
Apr 15, 2024 · Cece HernandezStayed here as a travel nurse for 3 months, the RV park did the job, the proximity to Yale was nice, however, for the price you pay per month the owners could do more. Adding a few simple additions would have improved the stay for us. For example fencing in the "dog area" so dogs could actually run, improving the washer/dryer facilities (the dryers would never fully dry our clothes), including electric in the bill as that adds between $150-$250/month in the summer in addition to the $1150 monthly. The way the park is set up everyone is on top of each other, so spacing the lots out a bit more would be nice as well.
