Century Mobile Home & RV Park Introduce
Century Mobile Home & RV Park, located at 1483 W 2100 S St, Ogden, UT 84401, USA, is a unique community that caters to both long-term mobile home residents and recreational vehicle (RV) users, including those seeking extended stays. This dual functionality places it squarely within the "RV Parks Near Me" category, while also serving the needs of the mobile home community. For inquiries, the park can be reached at (801) 731-3800 or +1 801-731-3800. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the park, drawing from recent resident feedback regarding its environment, services, features, and promotional considerations.
The environment of Century Mobile Home & RV Park is described as having undergone a significant decline in recent times, according to several long-term residents. What was once considered a highly-rated park has, in some accounts, become "so down hill." This suggests a deterioration in overall appearance, maintenance, and potentially the general atmosphere of the community. Ogden, Utah, offers a diverse urban and suburban environment, and the park's location provides access to various city amenities, services, and transportation links. In a dual-purpose park, the environment includes both designated mobile home lots and RV sites, often with shared or adjacent common areas. The perception of a "downhill" trend implies that the cleanliness, upkeep of facilities, and general orderliness may no longer meet the previous high standards, impacting the living experience for both mobile home residents and RV guests. This decline is significant enough that one reviewer noted "20 campers pulled out" in a single month.
Services at Century Mobile Home & RV Park have become a central point of dissatisfaction for residents, particularly following a change in management or the introduction of new staff. Long-term RV residents, who had previously enjoyed "amazing" and "kind and courteous" management for 2.5 years, report a drastic negative shift with the arrival of a new individual named Jen in February 2024. Allegations include rude and dishonest behavior, leading to severe disruptions in resident arrangements. One concrete example involves a resident being removed from a monthly rate and charged a daily rate of $85 for being "mad" after a complaint, which was later rectified by a previous manager but highlights a highly contentious and punitive management style. Another major service failure highlighted is the arbitrary giving away of a reserved RV spot, despite a reservation made months in advance. This indicates a severe breakdown in reservation management and customer commitment, causing significant inconvenience for full-time RVers who rely on such reservations. Furthermore, issues with slow deposit returns, taking "over 3 weeks to get our deposit and overpay back," reflect inefficiencies and potentially problematic financial management. The park's WiFi, a crucial service for many residents and especially RVers, is also reported to no longer work, which is a significant amenity failure impacting connectivity and daily life.
The features of Century Mobile Home & RV Park include dedicated spaces for both mobile homes and RVs. For RVers, this would typically involve full hookup sites (electric, water, sewer), and for mobile home residents, individual lots for their manufactured homes with utility connections. The negative feedback regarding "dogs pooping on the roadside of lot" and residents being told to clean it, or face charges, suggests that the park's pet policy or enforcement, along with general cleanliness standards in common areas, may be lacking. While a pet policy is a feature, its poor implementation or inconsistent enforcement can become a detriment. The reported failure of the WiFi, which is an expected amenity in most modern RV parks, means a crucial feature is non-functional. Previously, the park's features would have included reliable management, which is now conspicuously absent according to multiple accounts. The increasing cost ("cost keeps going up") while services simultaneously "keep getting worse" is a critical concern, as it directly impacts the value proposition of living at the park.
In terms of promotional information, Century Mobile Home & RV Park has historically had a reputation as a highly-rated facility, suggesting that it once possessed qualities that would attract both mobile home residents and RV travelers seeking extended stays. The initial positive experiences, where management was "amazing," could have been a strong promotional point. However, current promotional efforts would be severely challenged by the recent negative experiences. While it caters to the specific niche of long-term RV parking and mobile home residency in Ogden, the issues with management, unreliable services (like WiFi), arbitrary policy changes, and significant declines in overall experience are strong deterrents. Any objective promotional material would need to transparently address the current state of affairs, or risk misleading potential residents and RV guests. For local users searching "RV Parks Near Me," the park's ability to accommodate long-term stays remains a functional feature, but the associated problems with management, pricing, and service quality are now dominant themes. The high rate of recent departures ("20 campers pulled out") further underscores the current struggle to retain residents. The desire of a long-term resident to "visit with the owner of this property" to provide more information indicates a critical need for oversight and intervention at a higher level, suggesting that the current operational issues are deeply rooted and impacting the park's viability and reputation.

Century Mobile Home & RV Park Reviews
My husband and I live the winter months here for 4 seasons. The management the first 2 1/2 years were amazing. Kind and courteous. The lot rent did go up and you had to pay for electricity but we understood with covid. February of 2024 they hired Jen and the place went so down hill. She is rude and dishonest. We talked to the manager at the time about something she had done and she was mad. The next month she took us off the monthly and put us on daily. And billed us 85 a day. The manager at the time made it good. We came back this year and she gave our spot away. We had reserved that spot in May when we left. She became the manager and when we returned she had every excuse. We took what she said was open due to no other choice. We rv full time. At the new spot we had dogs pooping on the roadside of lot and we're told we needed to clean it or we would be charged. This park has gone down hill so bad that in the month of January 20 campers pulled out with us being the 18th. Then it took over 3 weeks to get our deposit and over pay back. I would love to visit with the owner of this property at anytime if they want more information
Feb 27, 2025 · Leslie AllenI would have rated this 5 star when i first moved in here! Now a 2 star as far as caring for our needs, cost keeps going up and services keep getting worse! wifi is all we have now and it doesn’t even work anymore!
Jan 04, 2025 · jeremy hill$866/month PLUS power AND 2025 will bring a 5% rate increase. I assume the occupancy rate is what keeps the rates so high. All about supply and demand. A limited supply of RV parks in the area is good for the Spencer family but NOT for the end user. I'm rather fond of my other places, Bullhead City($410)and Mesa($550). See y'all down the road.
Oct 25, 2024 · Arthur VictorThe people that work here are pleasant and wonderful! However the park is easy to tight And way to expensive for what you get. They charge us $81 per day for 3 of us, which at that price you'd expect a little luxury... You have to make a U turn to enter and exit the park, the RV roads are single width making it tight to turn and set up. The spaces are soooo narrow and short. So short that you have to block the road to unhook and get real familiar with neighbors across the street. There is not room for your tow vehicle at your site. After inhooking you really have to squeeze your tow vehicle in attempt to not block the road. (Our travel trailer is ONLY 35 feet) There is overflow parking, but it was full. I stayed here overnight with my 2 kids. They charge me $2.50 a child per day. The three of us went inside to check in and the attendant was lovely and set us all up. They have wifi but they don't allow streaming and connection is poor. They have a dog section, picnic tables, basketball, pool fitting summer, etc. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't worth the $81 for a single night
Oct 15, 2024 · Home Everyday Love & PositivityGreeted by a very friendly young lady, and given directions to a nice site. VERY close to my neighbor on the left, but my camper door opened to a nice large grassy area with picnic table. Park is very well kept sites are spacey. One issue was that my next door neighbor hooked up his sewer hose to the outlet for my site, so I could not dump my tanks after my visit. Fortunately I was only staying one night. A large wall separates the park and the highway, so traffic noise is constant.
