Washington Estates Manufactured Home Community Introduce
Welcome to Washington Estates Manufactured Home Community, a residential haven nestled in the heart of Ogden, Utah. Situated at 1450 N Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84404, USA, this community offers a unique blend of long-term living opportunities and the potential for accommodating recreational vehicles, making it a noteworthy option for those searching within the “RV parks near me” category for a more permanent or extended stay solution. You can reach the community management at (801) 782-8867 or +1 801-782-8867 for inquiries.
Washington Estates presents itself as a community designed for manufactured homes, fostering a sense of neighborhood and belonging. The environment is characterized by established infrastructure and a layout conducive to residential living. While specific details about landscaping, common green areas, or amenities like clubhouses or playgrounds are not explicitly provided in the available information, the very nature of a manufactured home community often implies the presence of such features aimed at enhancing the quality of life for its residents. Potential residents are encouraged to inquire directly about the specific amenities offered to gain a comprehensive understanding of the community environment.
In terms of services, the provided information indicates that lot rent includes trash removal. This is a standard service in many manufactured home communities, contributing to the overall convenience for residents. However, one resident review suggests that while a maintenance person was seemingly on-site, their availability for addressing individual home maintenance needs might be limited, with the reviewer expressing a desire for more direct assistance in this area. It's important for prospective residents to clarify the scope of maintenance services provided by the community management and understand their own responsibilities regarding home upkeep.
The features of Washington Estates are primarily centered around providing a framework for long-term residential living within a manufactured home setting. The community offers individual lots for manufactured homes, allowing residents to establish a more permanent living situation compared to typical short-term RV parks. The sense of community is highlighted in one of the reviews, where a resident expresses gratitude for "wonderful neighbors," indicating a positive social aspect to living in Washington Estates. However, it's also important to acknowledge that, as with any diverse community, experiences can vary. One review mentions concerns about unruly children and instances of disrespectful behavior, as well as alarming incidents involving neighborhood children. This suggests that while a strong sense of community exists for some, others may experience challenges related to neighborhood dynamics.
A significant feature discussed in the reviews is the lot rent. One resident mentioned an increase in lot rent from $750 per month upon moving in to nearly $1000 per month currently, including trash removal. This highlights the importance for prospective residents to inquire about the current lot rent, the frequency and potential magnitude of rent increases, and whether any rent cap policies are in place. Understanding these financial aspects is crucial for long-term budgeting and peace of mind.
Considering the perspective of those searching within the “RV parks near me” category, Washington Estates might present an option for individuals seeking a longer-term stay than typically offered by traditional RV parks. While primarily designed for manufactured homes, some communities may have provisions for accommodating RVs on a more extended basis, particularly if the RV is intended as a permanent or semi-permanent residence. Individuals interested in this possibility should directly contact the management to inquire about the community's policies on RVs, including any restrictions on size, type, or length of stay.
Based on the available information, it is challenging to provide specific promotional information in the traditional sense. However, the potential appeal of Washington Estates lies in its offering of a residential community setting with the possibility of long-term and potentially more affordable housing compared to traditional real estate. The established infrastructure and the sense of neighborly connection, as noted by one resident, could be attractive to those seeking a stable and communal living environment in Ogden. The inclusion of trash removal in the lot rent also adds a degree of convenience.
However, it is crucial for prospective residents to be aware of the concerns raised in the reviews. The experience of one former resident regarding management's responsiveness and compassion during a difficult personal time is a point to consider. Similarly, the significant increase in lot rent over time, as mentioned by another resident, underscores the need for thorough financial due diligence. The issues related to neighborhood children's behavior also warrant consideration for those prioritizing a quiet and secure environment.
In conclusion, Washington Estates Manufactured Home Community offers a residential setting in Ogden, Utah, with the potential to cater to individuals seeking long-term living arrangements and possibly extended stays for recreational vehicles. Its features include individual lots, a sense of community for some residents, and included trash removal in the lot rent. However, prospective residents should carefully consider the financial aspects, particularly regarding lot rent and potential increases, and be mindful of the varying experiences reported by current and former residents regarding management responsiveness and neighborhood dynamics. Direct communication with the community management is highly recommended to obtain the most current and detailed information and to assess whether Washington Estates aligns with individual needs and preferences within the context of both manufactured home living and the broader search for “RV parks near me” offering long-term options.

Washington Estates Manufactured Home Community Reviews
Was a great place to live when we first moved in . My husband got sick and passed away and mgmt. Was always on us about do this , do that, well I am a widow and didn't have money for all that. I would think that a maintenance person on site could of took care of some things. Too busy riding in the golf cart and picking up trash. Mgmt. Not caring or compassionate. I had to sell and move . Now I have no home. Thanks
Nov 23, 2024 · lisa PetersonWe've had an ok time with management. I would like to see how lot rent can be lowered for everyone. The price jump yearly is a bit wild. Is there a rent cap? For those wondering about lot rent costs. It was 750/mo moving in and close to 1k/ mo now. That does include trash removal. I'd like to see lot rent around 800 max. I think more ppl would be happier all around. Happier people makes a happier community. We are grateful for wonderful neighbors. We do not care for a handful of unruly, disrespectful children nearby tho. I've had kids come into my yard to hide from others with 2x4 trying to beat them up. Our neighbor kids were scared when a set of kids between 8-12 said they wanted to murd3r ppl. So there's a variety of people living here for sure.
Oct 26, 2024 · Amber WiebePool and an elementary school nearby is great!!But, for the parents that live here that let their kids out past 10pm, please tell them to NOT take seemingly stray cats. I've walked around to see a bunch out without collars that DO have homes. This goes out for everyone actually, not just the kids. The cats that don't have collars and are out do have homes!!! Stop taking them please!!
Aug 02, 2023 · RadBoozI don't have a lot of recent experience with manufactured/mobile home parks but in the course of looking for a place for my daughter to live with my special needs son and her daughter, we have seen a few in the last few days. In the 70s my grandma was the manager of a large mobile home park and it was a really nice place with huge mobile homes and small yards with room for a shed and a kids play area. Now some of the ones I have seen you could reach out and touch the mobile/ manufactured home next door. However, this is one of the cleaner, less crowded, parks that we looked at in the area. The streets are wider than most with enough room for parking on both sides and driving a car down the middle. The homes seem to be well maintained and the yards kept nice. The HOA fees vary from the $500s to $800s range.
Jan 20, 2023 · V RMy grandparents live here. Not a bad place but parking is an absolute joke. You can't park in front of your trailer past midnight. Sometimes all the over flow spots are taken up, there is only like 20 over flow spots. So if they're all taken you're out of luck. If you park in front of your trailer you risk having your car towed. Also lot rent seems to be a little more than other trailer parks and they don't give you much freedom to do what you want around your own trailer. There's not a lot of crime or anything around here, so you don't have to worry about that.
