Wasatch View Estates Introduce
Are you a local resident in the Ogden, Utah area searching for "RV parks near me" or exploring potential long-term residential options? Wasatch View Estates, located at 1700 W 2700 N, Ogden, UT 84404, USA, presents a unique situation as a community in transition. According to customer reviews, this location is currently a "trailer park being turned into an RV park," offering a blend of short-term RV accommodations and potentially longer-term residency opportunities. This introduction aims to provide local users with a detailed overview of Wasatch View Estates based on the available customer feedback, highlighting aspects of its environment, services, features, and the ongoing changes within the community, to assist in considering it for either temporary RV stays or more permanent living arrangements.
Wasatch View Estates is situated in Ogden, a city in Weber County, Utah, nestled between the Great Salt Lake and the Wasatch Mountains. Its location at 1700 West 2700 North places it in an area with convenient access to transportation and local amenities. One reviewer notes its proximity to the freeway entrance, which could be advantageous for travelers passing through or local residents needing easy access to the wider region. Despite this proximity, the reviewer also mentions that they do not notice freeway noise, suggesting a degree of sound insulation or a location slightly buffered from the immediate highway. The park's location also offers convenient access to "lots of fast food and gas stations," providing readily available options for quick meals and refueling for both short-term RVers and long-term residents.
The services at Wasatch View Estates appear to be evolving in line with its transition. One positive aspect highlighted by a reviewer was the "decent service" received upon arrival during non-business hours. Calling the number on the door resulted in someone arriving "within a few minutes," indicating a responsive management team willing to assist guests even outside of regular office hours. This suggests a commitment to customer service for RV travelers. The same reviewer also noted that the management is "willing to work with customer needs," implying a flexible and accommodating approach. For recreational amenities, Wasatch View Estates features a pool, although one reviewer expressed disappointment with its closing time of 7 pm, which is earlier than some other facilities. This is a point to consider for those who prefer to swim later in the evening. The ongoing transition of the park is also evident in a comment about "cleaning things up and moving out old be double wide trailers," suggesting active efforts to upgrade and potentially reconfigure the community towards more RV-friendly accommodations.
Wasatch View Estates offers several features that enhance the experience for both short-term and potentially long-term residents. The park is "paved," which is a significant advantage for RVers as it provides level and stable parking sites. This paving also benefits families, as it allows "kids can ride bikes and skate" safely within the community. The presence of "speed bumps everywhere" is a notable feature aimed at ensuring the safety of all residents and guests by preventing speeding traffic within the park. For families with young children, there is "a small playground by the pool area," providing a dedicated space for recreation. The positive comments about enjoying "morning & evening walks" suggest a pleasant and walkable environment within the community. While one reviewer mentioned a problem with "neighbors not cleaning up after their dogs," the fact that the "managers were friendly and helpful" indicates a willingness to address such issues and maintain a positive community environment. The ongoing efforts to remove older mobile homes and potentially replace them with more RV-oriented facilities suggest a future focus on catering to the needs of RV travelers.
As Wasatch View Estates is in a state of transition, specific promotional information is not provided in the reviews. Local users interested in short-term RV stays or potential long-term residency are advised to contact the management directly using the provided phone number, (801) 782-4078 or the mobile number +1 801-782-4078, to inquire about current rates, availability, and any special offers that might be available during this period of change. It would also be beneficial to ask about the long-term vision for the community and the types of accommodations and services that will be offered as the transition progresses. Understanding the timeline and plans for the park's development will be crucial for local users considering making Wasatch View Estates their temporary or permanent home.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of Wasatch View Estates, local users are strongly encouraged to contact the management directly. Inquiries should cover the availability of RV sites and mobile home lots, the current rental rates for both short-term and long-term stays, the amenities currently offered (including the pool hours and any other recreational facilities), the ongoing plans for the park's transition, and the community's rules and regulations, including pet policies. Visiting the property in person would also provide valuable insight into the current environment, the progress of any renovations or upgrades, and the overall atmosphere of the community. Speaking with current residents, if possible, could also offer additional perspectives on the living experience at Wasatch View Estates during this transitional phase.
In conclusion, for local residents in the Ogden, Utah area searching for "RV parks near me" or considering a mobile home community, Wasatch View Estates presents an evolving option. Its convenient location near the freeway and local amenities, coupled with friendly management and ongoing efforts to improve the park, are positive aspects highlighted in the reviews. The paved areas, speed bumps, and playground suggest a degree of consideration for safety and families. However, potential RV guests should note the earlier pool closing time, and both RVers and potential long-term residents should be mindful of the ongoing transition and inquire about the long-term plans for the community. Direct communication with the management is crucial to obtain the most up-to-date information on rates, availability, amenities, and the progress of the park's transformation to determine if Wasatch View Estates meets your specific needs for a short-term RV stay or a longer-term residential opportunity in Ogden.

Wasatch View Estates Reviews
This is a trailer park being turned into an RV park. It's fairly close to the freeway entrance but I don't notice the freeway noise. Being in this location it is close to lots of fast food and gas stations. Has decent service -we got there during non-business hours & called the number on the door. Someone came within a few minutes. They're willing to work with customer needs. This place has what we needed for the short time we were there. There is a pool but disappointed with the hours. We like to swim later in evening when its cooler, but the pool closes at 7pm where other places close at 10pm.It's paved so kids can ride bikes and skate. There are speed bumps everywhere so no speeding traffic. There is a small playground by the pool area. We did enjoy our morning & evening walks.
Dec 22, 2017 · Galynn MookNice quiet RV park and it was closer to family than the one we've stayed at before. It looks like they're cleaning things up and moving it old be double wide trailers. We did have a problem with neighbors not cleaning up after their dogs. The managers were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
Sep 30, 2017 · judy cottomThis is not what Wasatch View Estates looks like. It's located by associated warehouse that area. My friend made a horrible choice when she purchased a manufactured home from stratton homes. It was a brand new home that was grosley over priced. Think he needed some capitol or something she paid close to 70,000 over what she should have only to be in a park that has nothing in it no club house no pool no security. They won't even turn on the street lights. She was told they have internet they don't apparently it was all yanked out years ago. So she has no TV. The soil there is so bad that her home like many others around her is sinking and she can't even close her front door. He home was not setup according to government guidelines neither were 6 other homes uo for sale there. Stratton homes won't even call her back. He ran from her the last time she saw him (mat rice) hopped in his truck and took off. They are so corrupt over there I was told that they new about the soil years ago did nothing about it I guess they hopped everyone forgot by now. So they are dropping homes and selling them. It's a travesty my poor friend has never had anything nice in her life. She has had a very tough life. She was finally able to get something what she thought would be a great place to live out the rest of her life with some kind of comfort and no stress. This is totally not what happened. I honestly cry for her everytime I go see her. Don't get trapped in a over charged death trap. Think before you do business with stratton homes. You will be left low and wet.
Mar 08, 2023 · Linda BeachReasonably priced and located near where I needed to be. Has a pool and some swingsets, but not much else for kids. They did not seem dog friendly. Also, I stayed temporarily in my RV and was told they would not be renting to RVs in the near future. The managers were nice.
Nov 10, 2019 · Jeaux EnsleyGoogle Maps Sucks. Wasatch View Estates is a mobile home park, not a hotel. Lot rent is atrocious (par for the course), because you're paying $600 per month to RENT a lot that would be worth less than $10,000 if it were sold as a building lot (because it's too small to build on). You can buy an improved vacant lot that's 4x as big for around 80k. The monthly payments on an 80k loan would be less than $600 per month. In other words: I would NEVER do business with this mobile home park!!! Not even to buy a mobile or manufactured home that's to be placed on a lot that I own. Because, if a business will take advantage of one class of customer, they will likely lie and cheat wherever they can get away with it.
