Millcreek Mobile Homes Introduce
Welcome to Millcreek Mobile Homes, a distinctive resident-owned cooperative located at 1065 Wall Ave, Ogden, UT 84404, USA. For local users searching within the “RV parks near me” category, Millcreek offers a unique model of community living that may present an alternative for those seeking a long-term and stable environment. You can contact the community at (801) 394-5056 or +1 801-394-5056 for inquiries, although the resident-owned nature means that information regarding RV stays might differ from traditional RV parks.
The environment of Millcreek Mobile Homes is consistently described by its residents as quiet and peaceful. The community fosters a sense of stability, with many shareholders being second to fourth-generation family members living within the park. This multi-generational presence suggests a strong sense of established community and a long-term commitment from its residents. The atmosphere is characterized as one where neighbors generally respect each other's privacy, creating a tranquil living environment. While specific details about landscaping, common areas, or amenities are not extensively mentioned, the emphasis on a quiet and respectful atmosphere indicates a focus on the comfort and peace of its residents.
The services at Millcreek Mobile Homes are structured around its cooperative ownership model. Residents are shareholders, and the reviews indicate a notably low monthly fee of $150 per share per lot. This fee likely covers the basic operational costs of the community. It is important to note that this is a different financial structure than traditional RV parks, where fees are typically for lot rental and specific amenities. Potential residents, particularly those considering bringing an RV for a long-term stay (if permitted), should inquire about what this monthly fee covers and what additional services, if any, are provided. The reviews do not explicitly mention services like on-site management in the traditional sense, as the community is self-governed by its shareholders.
The features of Millcreek Mobile Homes are unique due to its cooperative ownership structure. Each lot is associated with a share, and residents become shareholders in the community. This model offers a different level of control and investment compared to renting a space in a traditional mobile home or RV park. One significant feature highlighted by residents is the low monthly fee, making it a potentially very affordable option for long-term living. The community is also described as pet-friendly, which is a notable feature for many individuals and families. Furthermore, the demographic of the community is mentioned as mostly older couples, couples with older children, and older singles, contributing to the quiet and mature atmosphere. The community actively watches out for each other, with many residents having security cameras and a strong relationship with local law enforcement, emphasizing safety and community vigilance.
While Millcreek Mobile Homes is not a traditional RV park, its unique features might appeal to certain individuals within the “RV parks near me” search who are seeking a very long-term, stable, and potentially more affordable living situation. The option for shareholders to buy a share to a lot, remodel a mobile home, and potentially resell it could be attractive to those looking for a stepping stone in housing or those interested in DIY projects. Additionally, shareholders may rent out their mobile homes, providing another avenue for potential residents. However, a key condition is that the shareholder associated with each lot must reside in the park, and investors are welcome only if they intend to live in the community while remodeling a mobile home for sale. This residency requirement distinguishes it significantly from typical investment-focused RV parks.
The promotional aspect of Millcreek Mobile Homes, based on the resident reviews, centers on its affordability (low monthly fees), its quiet and respectful living environment, its pet-friendly policy, and its strong sense of community and safety. The welcoming tone from residents, such as "Welcome to our community," suggests a friendly and inclusive atmosphere for those who value peace and neighborly consideration. The emphasis on not speeding or causing disturbances indicates a community that prioritizes the tranquility of its residents. For individuals seeking a long-term, budget-friendly, and peaceful living situation in Ogden, Millcreek Mobile Homes presents a compelling option, provided they are willing to become part of a resident-owned cooperative and adhere to the community's ethos.
For those specifically searching for “RV parks near me,” it is crucial to understand Millcreek's operational model. It is primarily a resident-owned mobile home community, and while long-term RV stays might be possible under certain conditions (e.g., purchasing a share and placing an RV on the lot as a permanent dwelling, if permitted by the cooperative's rules), this would likely differ significantly from the typical short-term or transient nature of most RV parks. Interested individuals with RVs should directly inquire with the community about their specific policies regarding RVs, the process of becoming a shareholder, and any regulations or restrictions that might apply.
In conclusion, Millcreek Mobile Homes offers a unique living experience in Ogden, Utah, characterized by its resident-owned cooperative structure, low monthly fees for shareholders, a quiet and pet-friendly environment, and a strong sense of community. While not a traditional RV park, its model may appeal to those seeking a long-term, affordable, and community-oriented living situation. Local users exploring “RV parks near me” should consider contacting Millcreek Mobile Homes to understand the specifics of their cooperative structure and whether it aligns with their long-term housing needs, particularly if they are considering residing in an RV within this community framework. The emphasis on a peaceful environment and active community involvement in maintaining that peace are key aspects to consider for prospective residents.

Millcreek Mobile Homes Reviews
Quiet place to live. Pet friendly. Also, mostly older couples, couples with older children and older singles. Many shareholders are 2nd to 4th generations of family living here. My husband and I are the 3rd generation of his family to live in here currently. So if you want a quiet place to live, neighbors that leave you be and low lot fee ( We are each shareholders. Currently we all pay $150 monthly for each share to each lot.) then you might consider Millcreek. Many couples and singles have used this park to buy a share to a lot ( Either from the co-op or shareholder. Ask for more info. ) remodeled their mobile home and sold it ( Great for those who are working on their credit or looking for turn-key mobile homes). Shareholders may rent a mobile home to a new renter ( Ask for more info). In all cases buying, selling or renting the shareholder to each lot must reside in the park. Investors are welcome if you're willing to live here while you remodel a mobile home and sell it.In closing, please don't move in here if you like to speed just a little. Party late at night or anything that may disturb others peace. 😉Know that many of your potential neighbors have cameras on or around our homes. As a community we are very friendly and well acquainted with local law enforcement. 😉 We watch out for each other.Have a good one! 😊 Welcome to our community.
Oct 25, 2023 · Sherry EvenhuisI was there to pick up an item I bought off of marketplace. She was very nice to deal with.
Nov 11, 2024 · Terry McDadeIt's great because you can watch your neighbors move a giant big screen TV on top of a car while 5 guys stand around the car holding it like they're carrying a coffin. The fun never ends here. If you can't afford cable this is definitely the place for you 😂...... Steve sucks. Also if you're trailer catches on fire in the middle of winter, Steve will show up in his boxers and socks, while holding a beer and try and put it out with garden hoses that are off during the winter ...so that's helpful 😂😂😂...move right in 😂
Feb 24, 2023 · Daily Dose Of KatzThe Lone, Privately owned trailer park left anywhere. The residents of this park are all "share holders" in this property. It is well maintained, and friendly. At least two playgrounds for children. "Walking distance" close to all shopping, retail food, and schools.
Apr 18, 2022 · Barry Whaley, Sr.Millcreek Mobile Home Park, in my opinion, is a very dismal and sad place. Each time I'm there I feel like my heart is just breaking. Every so often there are two homes in one lot, one behind the other, which seems like a fire hazard to me.
