Westwood Village Introduce
If you are exploring options for long-term living in the Farr West, Utah area and searching for "RV parks near me," it's important to understand the distinction between RV parks and mobile home parks. While both offer residential spaces, they cater to different needs and often have distinct features. Westwood Village, located at 1111 N 2000 W, Farr West, UT 84404, USA, is a mobile home park offering a community-style living environment. Although our platform category focuses on RV parks, understanding nearby mobile home park options like Westwood Village can be beneficial for those considering various types of long-term accommodation.
Westwood Village presents itself as a community where residents generally take pride in maintaining their properties. According to a recent review, the park "seems very nice," with most people keeping up their yards. This collective effort contributes to a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment throughout the village. The reviewer also noted the quiet atmosphere of Westwood Village, which can be a significant draw for those seeking a peaceful residential setting.
While the overall appearance and ambiance of Westwood Village are generally positive, it's important to consider all aspects highlighted in the available feedback. One recurring concern mentioned by a reviewer is the cost of lot rent. The comment, "I'm shocked by the amount of lot rent, but all these places charge a lot, I don't know how people afford it," suggests that the financial aspect of living in Westwood Village, and potentially other similar communities in the area, may be a significant consideration for prospective residents. This is a factor that individuals should carefully evaluate based on their budget and financial circumstances.
Another resident, who currently lives in Westwood Village, provides a more nuanced perspective. While they state they are "not gonna complain," they also suggest that there is room for improvement within the community. Their review points out that a "lot of elderly" reside in the park, and they perceive a lack of "real support for the populace." This raises questions about the availability of specific services or programs tailored to the needs of the senior residents within Westwood Village.
The same resident also mentions that "activities abundant but real support lacking." This implies that while there may be social or recreational opportunities within the community, there might be a gap in providing more substantial support services that could benefit the residents, particularly the elderly population. The reviewer's subsequent comments, "Society. Money banked above all else. Society. Care zero dollars first. Society. Sad," express a sentiment about the community's priorities, suggesting a potential focus on financial aspects over resident well-being. This is an important point for prospective residents to consider and perhaps explore further if they prioritize community support and engagement.
Based on the available information, we can gather the following insights about the environment and features of Westwood Village:
- Clean and Well-Maintained Environment: Residents generally take care of their yards, contributing to a clean and tidy appearance throughout the mobile home park.
- Quiet Atmosphere: Westwood Village is noted for its peaceful and quiet surroundings, which can be appealing to those seeking a tranquil living environment.
- Majority Elderly Population: The community has a significant number of elderly residents, which may influence the overall pace and social dynamics of the park.
- Abundant Activities: There seem to be numerous activities available for residents, suggesting opportunities for social engagement and recreation.
However, it's also crucial to acknowledge the potential drawbacks and areas for consideration:
- High Lot Rent: The cost of lot rent may be a significant financial burden for some individuals. Prospective residents should inquire about the current lot rent fees and any associated costs.
- Perceived Lack of Support for Residents: One resident suggests a lack of "real support" for the populace, particularly the elderly, despite the abundance of activities. This aspect warrants further investigation for those who value community support services.
- Potential Prioritization of Financial Aspects: The comments about "money banked above all else" and "care zero dollars first" raise concerns about the community's focus and priorities, which may impact the overall resident experience.
Regarding services and amenities at Westwood Village, the available reviews do not provide specific details. However, typical mobile home parks often offer essential services such as:
- Lot Maintenance: While residents are expected to maintain their individual yards, the park likely handles the upkeep of common areas.
- Utilities Hookups: Mobile home lots usually provide connections for water, sewer, electricity, and possibly gas. Residents typically pay for their individual utility usage.
- Waste Management: Regular trash and recycling services are generally provided.
- Common Area Maintenance: Upkeep of roads, walkways, and any shared facilities within the park.
Given the mention of "abundant activities," Westwood Village may also offer some recreational or social facilities, such as a clubhouse, community center, or organized events for residents. However, the lack of specific details in the reviews means we cannot confirm the exact nature or quality of these offerings.

Aug 08, 2024 · Lisa nicole McfarlandI live here now. Could be better but not gonna complain. Lot of elderly living here and no real support for the populace. Activities abundant but real support lacking. Society. Money banked above all else. Society. Care zero dollars first. Society. Sad.
Jan 21, 2024 · James AnglinI love living here! Best move I've ever made. Met some awesome people, love using the pool, hot tub and excersize room. We have a lot of activities as well. The Management team keeps us informed and are very helpful.
Jul 01, 2021 · Diana BloomquistTo be honest, I just visited this place to service window washing a home for my work. The neighborhood looked decent enough. Quiet with a touch of homey living. The 5 stars is based on other trailer "villages" I've been to. There are certainly more ritzy HOAs to consider.
Sep 15, 2022 · Justin HansenThis is a relatives clean place. Easy to get around while driving. People are friendly I think the family could have a good time or if you were by yourself just needing a long time I think you can get that as well. Overall pretty comfortable.
