Based on recent feedback from visitors exploring "RV parks near me," Fiddlers Rest RV Park provides clean and comfortable lodging, albeit with some acknowledged imperfections typical of a more budget-friendly establishment. One guest who stayed in a cabin noted "clean cabin, comfy beds, and very sweet young adults helping guests." This highlights the positive aspects of the accommodation and the helpfulness of the staff, particularly the younger team members. The guest also mentioned an instance of needing to move cabins due to a broken lock, and overheard another guest had also been moved, though the reason was unclear. Despite these logistical issues, the staff was commended for being "very accommodating and helpful in getting us moved," indicating a responsive approach to guest concerns.
This reviewer provided a candid assessment of the park, stating, "This is not a luxury place and is perfect as a landing pad for sandy days at the beach or long days fishing." This sets realistic expectations, positioning Fiddlers Rest RV Park as a practical and affordable option for those primarily focused on outdoor activities rather than opulent amenities. The guest also pointed out some of the cabin's characteristics: "You can hear your neighbors over the sound of the A/C; the floors are vinyl with no rugs for sandy feet; the shower didn’t drain well; the sink handle came off in my hand; and we killed one little water bug." These details provide an honest picture of the cabin's condition and the type of experience one might expect, aligning with the "not a luxury place" description. The vinyl floors and lack of rugs are practical for managing sand brought in from beach trips.
However, the reviewer also highlighted a significant positive aspect of the park: "...the outdoor bar is charming and busy, busy so you’re sure to make friends if you stay long!" This social hub appears to be a key feature of Fiddlers Rest RV Park, offering a lively atmosphere where guests can interact and build connections. This can be a major draw for those seeking a social camping experience or looking to meet fellow travelers while exploring "RV parks near me."
Another guest who stayed in one of the "tiny house cabins" also had a positive experience, describing the location as a "lovely place near the water." The cabin layout was detailed: "Has those tiny house cabins with a master bedroom and then 2 beds in the loft. Kitchen has everything to cook and eat with." This provides valuable information for potential guests interested in the cabin accommodations, indicating they are equipped for self-catering. This reviewer echoed the previous guest's observation about the flooring: "The only suggestion I would make would be to have some rugs next to the beds since there is no carpet." This reinforces the practicality of the vinyl floors for sandy environments but suggests that a small comfort enhancement like rugs would be appreciated by guests.
Based on these reviews, Fiddlers Rest RV Park offers a budget-friendly and conveniently located option for those exploring Steinhatchee and its surrounding natural attractions. While the accommodations might have some minor imperfections, the clean cabins, comfy beds, helpful staff, and particularly the social outdoor bar contribute to a positive guest experience, especially for those prioritizing access to fishing, beaches, and a friendly atmosphere.

Fiddlers Rest RV Park Reviews
Clean cabin, comfy beds, and very sweet young adults helping guests. We had to move cabins due to a broken lock, and another guest told me they were moved from their cabin, but not sure why. Not a bid deal, they were very accommodating and helpful in getting us moved. This is not a luxury place and is perfect as a landing pad for sandy days at the beach or long days fishing. You can hear your neighbors over the sound of the A/C; the floors are vinyl with no rugs for sandy feet; the shower didn’t drain well; the sink handle came off in my hand; and we killed one little water bug. All these are expected imperfections for what you’re booking, but the outdoor bar is charming and busy, busy so you’re sure to make friends if you stay long!

Dec 30, 2020 · Crystal LegendreRV Park is decent. Only a few spots not setup for long term. Biggest issue was not knowing we had to back in off the main highway. The road does get loud at times during the night. But very friendly people. Hope they develop their business more for RVers.
