Fairview Village Introduce
Fairview Village, a mobile home park located at 1430 Torun Rd #202, Stevens Point, WI 54482, falls under the broad category of "RV Parks Near Me," often considered by individuals seeking not only short-term recreational vehicle parking but also long-term manufactured home residency. When evaluating any community, particularly one that serves as a permanent or semi-permanent living solution, it is essential to consider the reported experiences of current and former residents. This introduction provides an objective overview of Fairview Village, drawing directly from available public feedback to give potential residents a clear understanding of the environment and services as described by those who have lived there.
The environment and overall conditions at Fairview Village have been a significant point of discussion among residents. One primary concern that has been explicitly articulated in reviews is the presence of sand fleas. A former resident reported, "We moved out of the park because it's completely infested with sand fleas. My dog was literally suffering while living there, crying in pain while itching himself everyday. Nothing we did could get rid of them because the whole entire park has them so they would immediately come back." This is a serious environmental issue, suggesting a widespread infestation that has directly impacted the comfort and well-being of residents and their pets. The review further highlights the perceived inaction on the part of the park management to address this problem, stating, "The park is gross and they really need to do something about it but I'm sure they won't." Such claims raise significant questions about the pest control measures, cleanliness standards, and overall habitability of the park's environment.
Beyond pest control, other aspects of the park's environment and infrastructure have also received critical feedback. Specifically, the condition of the roads and lighting within the park has been highlighted. A potential resident who visited the park to view a trailer for sale noted, "the roads where horrible as in covered in pure ice felt like there was not even salt layed down once and it was so dark the roads had little to no lights." This description suggests that during adverse weather conditions, such as winter, the park's internal infrastructure, particularly road maintenance and lighting, may present significant challenges for residents. Poorly maintained roads, especially when covered in ice, can pose safety hazards for vehicles and pedestrians alike. The lack of adequate lighting further compounds these safety concerns, potentially making navigation difficult and increasing the risk of accidents during nighttime hours. These observations point to deficiencies in the park's general upkeep and infrastructure management, which are crucial for ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for all residents.
In terms of services and management responsiveness, the feedback available also indicates areas of concern. The same potential resident who noted the road conditions also reported difficulties in communication with the park's management. They stated, "And put in the application and never heard back from them and even tried to call many times to talk to someone in regards to my application nobody picked up. HORRIBLE PLACE!" This suggests a significant lack of responsiveness from the management team, which can be a major deterrent for prospective residents and frustrating for current ones. Effective communication and prompt follow-up are fundamental aspects of good property management, ensuring that residents' inquiries, concerns, and applications are handled in a timely and professional manner. The reported inability to reach park representatives for inquiries about an application implies a breakdown in customer service, which can severely impact the overall tenant experience and the park's reputation.
When considering Fairview Village within the context of "RV Parks Near Me," it is important to understand that while some mobile home parks offer a wide array of amenities and services, the available information for Fairview Village focuses more on reported challenges. There is no specific mention of common mobile home park amenities such as community centers, laundry facilities, playgrounds, or recreational areas in the provided reviews. The emphasis in the feedback is heavily on the negative aspects of the living environment and management, particularly concerning pest infestations and infrastructure maintenance. Therefore, potential residents should be aware that the primary reported features of this park relate to these critical areas of concern, rather than a broad suite of desirable amenities or community programs.
Promotional information, if any were available, would typically highlight the positive aspects of a community. However, based solely on the provided customer reviews, it is evident that the current perception among some residents is one of dissatisfaction. The strong negative language used, such as "completely infested," "gross," "horrible," and "nobody picked up," conveys a deeply negative experience. For anyone considering Fairview Village, these direct accounts serve as critical information for an objective assessment. While it is standard practice for mobile home parks to offer stable long-term housing solutions, the details provided by residents suggest that living conditions and management practices at Fairview Village may not align with expectations for a well-maintained and responsive community.
In conclusion, Fairview Village, located at 1430 Torun Rd #202, Stevens Point, WI 54482, is a mobile home park whose environment and services, as reported by customer reviews, present significant challenges. Concerns include widespread sand flea infestations affecting residents and their pets, poorly maintained roads, particularly during winter with ice and inadequate lighting, and a lack of responsiveness from management regarding applications and communication. These reported issues suggest that prospective residents evaluating "RV Parks Near Me" for long-term manufactured home living should approach Fairview Village with caution and conduct thorough due diligence, including personally visiting the site and verifying the current conditions and management practices, to ensure it meets their living standards and expectations. The available information strongly advises a careful and informed decision-making process for anyone considering this location.

We moved out of the park because it's completely infested with sand fleas. My dog was literally suffering while living there, crying in pain while itching himself everyday. Nothing we did could get rid of them because the whole entire park has them so they would immediately come back. My old neighbors told me they've found them on their babies head. The park is gross and they really need to do something about it but I'm sure they won't.

Feb 13, 2018 · Lisa HennesseyTrailers falling apart within park. Numerous homes look abandoned. Overall gross with the homes an eye sore and trash all over. Park needs to be condemned or cleaned up badly.I wouldn't recommend.
May 05, 2020 · Ann StrongDecent trailer park, many trees, also many signs posted (i.e., Slow, Watch for children, Stop, etc). Nice location, set back in a wooded, shady area.
Jul 23, 2017 · Allison LandwehrI live here now and if I could give it a 0star rating I would for many reasons1- The roads were not plowed nor salted professionally during the winter2- The owner and manager have both been unreachable3- The park has trash all over4- There are trailers actually falling apart within the parkThis trailer park was an okay place until it was bought by the current owners
