Brookside Village - RV Site Introduce
For those searching "RV Parks Near Me" in the Mosinee, Wisconsin area, Brookside Village - RV Site, located at 980 Old Hwy 51, Mosinee, WI 54455, USA, presents itself as an option. With contact numbers (715) 302-1128 and +1 715-302-1128, this establishment appears to be a mobile home park that also designates sites for RVs, suggesting a blend of long-term residential and potentially extended-stay RV accommodation. Understanding this dual nature is crucial for prospective visitors to set appropriate expectations regarding its environment, services, and features.
The environment at Brookside Village - RV Site, given its nature as a mobile home park with RV sites, likely offers a more structured and settled atmosphere than a typical transient RV campground. One could expect paved or graveled interior roads, clearly defined lots, and a sense of an established community. The "RV Site" designation suggests specific areas or spots within the park are allocated for recreational vehicles. While details on specific landscaping are not available, mobile home parks generally maintain common areas to a reasonable standard. The location in Mosinee, Wisconsin, offers a balance of accessibility and a potentially quieter setting compared to a bustling city. Mosinee is a smaller community with local amenities, and its proximity to Wausau provides access to a wider range of services, shopping, and dining options. This geographical context can be appealing to RVers looking for a base that offers both local convenience and access to broader regional facilities, potentially for extended stays or work assignments.
Regarding services, an RV site within a mobile home park typically means access to essential utilities necessary for comfortable RV living. This would usually include full hookups: water, sewer, and electrical connections. The reliability of these services is often a key factor for those considering longer stays. Beyond these basic utility connections, a mobile home park might offer common waste disposal services. Given its designation as an RV site within a broader mobile home park, it is reasonable to expect that the park has some form of on-site management or a designated contact for inquiries and issues. However, specific details about other potential services such as Wi-Fi availability, laundry facilities, or any recreational amenities are not provided and would require direct inquiry. It is common for mobile home parks that accommodate RVs to prioritize essential residential services over extensive recreational offerings typically found in dedicated RV resorts.
The features of Brookside Village - RV Site, influenced by its mobile home park setting, likely include the potential for longer-term stays. This is a significant differentiator from many daily or weekly RV campgrounds. For RVers such as travel nurses, individuals on extended work assignments, or those seeking a seasonal base, the availability of long-term RV sites within an established community can be a major advantage. The sites themselves may offer more space than typical transient spots, providing a more comfortable living environment. The presence of a larger mobile home community might also contribute to a sense of stability, though specific community features are not detailed. The phrase "nice clean park" from a customer review suggests that the aesthetic upkeep and cleanliness of the park are generally positive, which is a desirable feature for any RV location.
Promotional information for Brookside Village - RV Site would likely target individuals seeking extended RV accommodation rather than short-term vacationers. The phrase "RV Site" itself suggests a dedicated offering for recreational vehicles. Promotions might emphasize the availability of full hookups, competitive monthly rates for long-term stays, and its location convenient to local employment centers or attractions. It could appeal to travel nurses or other professionals who require a stable and affordable base for several weeks or months. Any specific policies regarding pets, children, or community rules would also be important promotional details to communicate. The direct phone contact information provided (715) 302-1128 and +1 715-302-1128 is crucial for potential guests to inquire about availability, rates, and specific park policies.
Customer reviews for Brookside Village - RV Site present a challenging picture, largely centered around communication and customer service experiences. One review explicitly states, "Absolutely horrible. Very rude and aggressive, all we did was inquire about a spot and was very rude and did not even let me ask questions save your money and find something different if I could do less than 1 star be a negative star good luck to anyone who has to deal with this guy." This feedback points to extremely negative initial interactions, suggesting a potentially unwelcoming or unhelpful approach from the management or owner during the inquiry process. This is a critical piece of information for prospective visitors, as a positive initial contact is often paramount in selecting an RV park, especially for those who might be traveling long distances.
Another review corroborates similar issues with communication and professionalism. This customer, a travel nurse, describes an initial positive interaction where the owner was "nice the first time I talked to him to acquire about a spot." However, the situation deteriorated when the owner later called back assuming a booking had been made, despite the customer only having inquired. The review states, "He said I shouldn’t have led him to believe that we wanted a spot. I apologized to him since he misunderstood and explained that he was outside the drive time we needed to be and he ended up getting upset and hanging up on me. I hate that he was very unprofessional after I took the call while on a family vacation." This detailed account highlights a significant communication breakdown, where a misunderstanding on the part of the park's representative led to an unprofessional and negative interaction. The customer's comment, "I looked like a nice clean park and I would have stayed there if ever in the area before all of this," is particularly poignant, indicating that while the physical appearance of the park might be appealing, the customer service experience deterred them from future consideration. These reviews collectively suggest that while the park itself might have desirable features, the experience of interacting with its management could be a significant barrier for potential residents or guests.
In conclusion, Brookside Village - RV Site at 980 Old Hwy 51, Mosinee, WI 54455, is an RV-friendly component of what appears to be a mobile home park, targeting those in the "RV Parks Near Me" category seeking long-term accommodation. Its environment likely offers a structured, settled setting, and its services would include essential RV hookups. The primary feature is its capacity for extended stays, potentially appealing to professionals like travel nurses. However, prospective visitors should be well aware of the significant concerns raised in customer reviews regarding communication and customer service. The strong negative feedback about rudeness, aggression, and unprofessional conduct during inquiries and follow-ups is a critical factor to consider. While the park's physical appearance might be appealing, as suggested by one review, the reported difficulties in initial interactions and misunderstandings with management could significantly impact the overall experience. Potential visitors are strongly advised to exercise caution, clarify all details, and manage expectations regarding communication when contacting Brookside Village - RV Site.

Jul 22, 2024 · Dan DrostThe owner was nice the first time I talked to him to acquire about a spot as we are a travel nurse family. I explained at the time we were looking at contracts and we look ahead of time to make sure there are available spots. The rates were very pricey however we ended up with a different contract and he wasn’t within the “on call” range of the hospital. I never booked or reserved a spot because we didn’t have the contract secured at the time. Some time later, he says about 3-4 weeks he called me back and asked when I was coming, I explained that we were only inquiring at that time and we never called and booked anything with him. He said I shouldn’t have led him to believe that we wanted a spot. I apologized to him since he misunderstood and explained that he was outside the drive time we needed to be and he ended up getting upset and hanging up on me. I hate that he was very unprofessional after I took the call while on a family vacation. I looked like a nice clean park and I would have stayed there if ever in the area before all of this.
