Post Oak Place Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Denton, Texas area, Post Oak Place, located at 109 Massey St, Denton, TX 76205, USA, presents a community with a mix of positive and negative feedback from its residents and visitors. Understanding these perspectives is crucial for anyone considering a stay at this location, whether for a short term or as a long-term resident.
On the positive side, one long-term resident describes Post Oak Place as "the most laid back quote friendly park I could have imagined finding." This positive sentiment highlights a potentially welcoming and relaxed atmosphere within the community. The resident also expresses feeling safe at the park and praises the amazing people and excellent landscaping. This suggests that the environment can be quite appealing, fostering a sense of community and providing an aesthetically pleasing setting for those who reside there.
However, other reviews present a contrasting view, particularly concerning the management and certain amenities. One reviewer uses the term "apathetic management" and advises potential guests to be aware of what they are getting into when reserving a spot. This raises concerns about the responsiveness and attentiveness of the management to the needs of residents and short-term visitors alike.
A significant issue highlighted by a reviewer is the lack of WiFi. This is a crucial amenity for many travelers and full-time residents in today's connected world. The reviewer notes that without on-site WiFi, guests are left with the options of depleting their mobile hotspot data or incurring an additional expense of approximately $60 per month to set up internet service through a third-party provider like Spectrum, assuming they can arrange a hookup on short notice. The reviewer also mentions a frustrating experience where the manager allegedly refused to reset a router that could have potentially provided WiFi, despite repeated requests and offers of assistance. This lack of action reportedly cost the reviewer both time and money.
The composition of Post Oak Place is described as mostly full-timers, with a limited number of short-term spots available for monthly rental. The RVs within the park are a mix of older models from the 1990s and early 2000s, alongside some newer travel trailers. The reviewer who shared the negative management experience does note that the residents are "very nice" and keep their sites tidy. This reinforces the positive aspect of the community spirit mentioned by the long-term resident.
Despite the friendly residents, the same reviewer expresses disappointment with the management's treatment of the residents. Specific infrastructure issues are mentioned, including roads full of potholes, an unusable pool, and consistently overflowing garbage. These concerns point to potential neglect in maintaining the park's facilities and infrastructure, which could detract from the overall living experience for both long-term and short-term residents.
Based on the information available, Post Oak Place appears to be a community with a strong sense of camaraderie among its long-term residents and a pleasant physical environment with good landscaping. However, potential guests and future residents should be aware of the reported issues concerning management responsiveness, the absence of readily available WiFi, and the maintenance of certain park facilities like the roads and pool. The overflowing garbage is also a significant concern regarding the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the park.
For individuals seeking short-term RV parks near Denton, particularly those in town for work, one reviewer explicitly recommends looking elsewhere for better services. This suggests that the lack of certain amenities and the reported management issues might not be conducive to a comfortable and convenient short-term stay.
However, for those seeking a potentially affordable and laid-back long-term RV community in Denton, the friendly residents and pleasant landscaping at Post Oak Place might be appealing. It is crucial to weigh these positive aspects against the reported negative experiences with management and the lack of certain amenities like WiFi and well-maintained infrastructure.
Before making a decision, it is highly recommended that potential residents or short-term guests contact Post Oak Place directly at (940) 387-8584 or +1 940-387-8584 to inquire about the current status of the park, the availability of WiFi (and whether the router issue has been resolved), the condition of the roads and pool, the garbage disposal situation, and the management's approach to addressing resident concerns. It would also be beneficial to ask about any specific policies or amenities offered to short-term versus long-term residents.
In conclusion, Post Oak Place in Denton, Texas, offers a community with friendly residents and attractive landscaping. However, potential visitors should be aware of reports indicating apathetic management, a lack of on-site WiFi, and issues with infrastructure maintenance. It is essential to gather current information directly from the park management to determine if it meets your specific needs and expectations for an "RV park near me" in the Denton area.

I actually live here full time. The most laid back quote friendly park I could have imagined of finding I feel safe here. The people are amazing and the landscaping is excellent. I’ll be here for a very long time.
May 01, 2023 · Suni G MooreApathetic management; be aware of what you are getting into if you reserve a spot. Photos are attached. There is no WiFi - expect to either use up all your mobile hotspot data, and then some, or pay for internet which means adding another $60 to your fees IF you can get spectrum to do a hook up on short notice. I should say there could be WiFi - if the manager would just reset the router but she won't (see photos), I asked her about every third day for a month to just reset the router and offered to do it myself but for some reason she wouldn't ever do it or respond to any emails. This cost me money and time. The park is mostly full timers with a few short term spots for monthly rental. It's about 50/50 RVs from the 90's/early 2000's and some newer travel trailers, the residents are very nice and their sites are tidy. I wish the management treated the residents better - the roads are full of pot holes, the pool is unusable, and it seems like the garbage is always full/overflowing. If you are in town short term to work I would recommend you look elsewhere for better services.
Jun 12, 2021 · GabrielleIt is a very nice family owned rv park. Have been there many times. Will go back!
Sep 26, 2022 · Marie CasteckaWe do not live here. Our friends do and have for over a year. We visit them and have been diffrent times of the day and year. The park is always clean the people there are very nice and it is a wonderful community. The pool is very nice and plenty of space to walk your dog. My friends love living there and have no issues. They have never said anything but nice things about the park itself, the staff and the residents. If it was close to our jobs we would have already tried to live there.
Jan 03, 2020 · April LuperThis little park really surprised us how nice and quiet it was! Some spots don't have shade, but we were lucky enough to be covered. There's a newly renovated pool!Ladies in the office are pretty down-to-earth, but they're only there from about 10am to 5pm Monday thru Friday, so if you need to speak to someone, you either call or go during the workweek. The payment for a monthly spot was reasonable. The spots are back-in, not pull through. Most people are long-term tenants.Only heard "loud" music one night out of about 2.5 months, but it was over by 10pm, which worked for us.Cons: need to fix dryers in the laundry room, might benefit from expanding the laundry room as well..There are plenty of laundry services locally though, so it's not a big deal!
