What an amazing place to stay. Hurt my heart to leave. Staff was awesome and resort was top of the line as long as you were aware of the rules. Very peaceful place to live. Clean showers and laundry room. Anybody in the area or in the idea of Staying long term it's a 10..
Apr 08, 2024 · LableyLovely park with access to highways around Dallas. Big level spots. Picnic tables, small grill at most sites. 40ft fiver no problem in premium and gold spaces. Staff was very nice and always helpful. Batman gives it 4 paws for huge dog area. Not fenced but that was OK for well trained 4 leggeds.
Sep 26, 2018 · MCPO BATMAN & ROBIN (Batman&Robin)The staff was helpful and professional. Checkin was fast and easy. They even reserved our site in advance.Prices are very acceptable and low. We are staying 3 nights and paid $30 plus tax per night with our discounted price per Good Sam's.Lot was gravel, quite level and covered by oak trees. There are many long term residents. So we were very happy that we were able to get a site.Park is in very good shape and clean. Easy to get to and very visible driving by on I35E.We are definitely happy and we will return to the park in the future.
Sep 22, 2018 · Terry Zahn (Wolfspyryt - WatchAwear)Planned on staying for a week but stayed for 10 days due to weather. Bathrooms are very clean, was able to get propane on site which is very convenient especially during the winter. Cost is pretty high per gallon for propane $3.73. RV sites were a little different than I'm used too, but manageable. Park was well maintained, large areas for dogs, and playgrounds for children were throughout the park. Stayed near the entrance of the park, I-35 was very loud, sounding like the semis were next to your site. Store inside have a few items but not many. Weekly price was reasonable avg price per night $37 plus $4 dollars per guest besides your spouse, so I had to pay $40 more for my daughter. Park is is right off I-35, easy to get too but be prepared for construction.Update, revisited area again mid March. Called to make reservations for a week, was told that they only do long term stays now. I don't know what long term stays are but I guess you cant stay for a week or less. Can't accommodate travelers or one nighters. I have to re adjust my initial rating from 4 stars to 2. Only my opinion. Thanks God Bless.3rd Edit of ReviewSpent time with son who attends North Texas University. Called KOA Sanger for reservations and they went up in price since last visit December 2019, was $36 per Night Now $50 per night. Called Destiny Dallas not expecting to find spot but the were very accommodating. They do weekly stays only if their is room. Average $34 night. Even asked to stay an extra weekend and that seemed to be no problem. While there noticed how good the internet was, how friendly everyone was who lived in the park and very pet friendly. Some spots may be a little tight for a 34 foot and above but over all I am raising the two star to a five. Customer service goes a long way in my book.
Apr 07, 2020 · RetiredArmyDogI visited friends there for 2 days, and it was great that the park actually had lots of mature trees, allowing RVs to have shade and better scenery compared to other parks I've seen in the area. Many other parks are just open lots with no trees at all. My only concern was how some of the RVs or trailers on site were run down and their "yards" were unkept and / or had junk sitting in plain view. I don't know if there is a rule regarding that or not, but if so, it should be enforced or become an additional rule to esthetically improve the park, especially since it appears that many people reside there full-time.
